Sora AI : Video Art Generator Reviews

First and foremost. I purchased SoraAI , opting for the lifetime subscription option of approximately $80. Which in fairness, would have been a pretty good deal if the Developer was honest about what that got you. They advertised the pro and lifetime options as Unlimited video generation. Only, at a certain point, I was no longer able to generate videos and was instead prompted with a message saying that I had reached the “Generate Limit” and that I should contact Support. Which I did.
After making several attempts at contacting them and several weeks later, someone finally got back to me and offered a sloppy and nonsensical explanation for why I was no longer able to generate videos. Saying that Pro subscriptions could not generate Unlimited videos (contrary to how it was advertised) and that I would need to purchase an Enterprise Subscription, which isn’t even an option within SoraAI . I replied stating as much, incredulous of the explanation. I asked where this “Enterprise Subscription” option is even listed. I asked why Pro and Lifetime were advertised as “Unlimited Generation” when they are in fact Very Limited, and have not received a reply since.
This is another in a slew of AI Trend Scams. Stay away from SoraAI and this Dev.
Note also that they also have other similar apps in SoraAI Store under slightly different names but with virtually the same User Interface and Pay/Subscription model. These are all part of the same scam. Buyer Beware.

First; they ask for money upfront. Okay, I paid because I understand they need money to get it working and keep it going. But it can be a scam too? (I'll let you decide.) So, I paid the money for the one week trial. I request a video, and then it says #16 in the queue. It's still on that screen. So maybe SoraAI is just not ready for use? And I find the motives and especially ethics to be suspect when you're asking people to pay in advance for something they won't get or won't be able to use. *** The AI photo part seems advanced and is working okay, but charging what they're asking for a weekly expense? They didn't even offer monthly, yearly or lifetime; I think is unacceptable, and that is why I give this a one star and a not recommended.

I did get the video and it was okay. I requested another and am still waiting, and it says I have no more credits left.

I really cannot say if I like SoraAI. Maybe it'll be better someday.

They don’t know they can just fill it with adds and make it free and I will be ok with that

Paid for a weekly subscription then they changed the payment structure. I started off being able to make several AI images. Then it went to only one AI image a day. Now you have to keep purchasing credits over and over to generate images. Total waste of money spent. I canceled my subscription.

These guys have done some really cool editing work I have done one image and love how they look

Don't waste your money on buying SoraAI.. the quality is soo bad..waste of time and money! videos made were garbage and you can only make two videos!? you have to keep buying and spending more money to buy more credits to make more..such a waste!!

It keeps wanting me to review it every time I try and save a video. The art is good. Nice and hypnotic. Videos are short and expensive.

I paid the yearly subscription which was to give me “unlimited” videos. Now they have switched to a credit system and I am stuck perpetually at 0 credits. Multiple emails have yielded NO feedback. This is a scam, don’t waste your money.

Terrible app. Really awful videos - no matter how specific I got, they wouldn’t do what I was asking. Paid for videos but then they said I needed a subscription to even save them or use them. A complete rip-off!

I purchased the life time program but it showing I need credits to generate. I don’t think I like that.

They make you buy credits then hit you with a subscription to use them. Choose a different app, quality isn’t even good.

I bought the credits, created my first video, and now they want a monthly subscription to download it. Crazy considering there are a million apps out there.

First they charge a subscription, fine whatever. Then they hit you with the token system. Shameless price gouging for an “okay product at best.

Unsubscribed on day one. Videos only have 3 ratios. They don’t last for more than a few seconds. So I’m disappointed at these robots.

SoraAI is very confusing to use and not only that I have type in what I wanted to produce as a picture several times and it hasn’t given me great results

SoraAI is a complete fake, not only did the ad lie about how it even works. The ENTIRE platform is pay to gain, I only installed hoping I’d have a method to freely generate ai art, even if only so many attempts per day. But instead they’re ads lied about the function, the pricing is ridiculously high for the small portions they give. And overall it’s most annoying that it’s so expensive and seeing an ad saying that I can use it for free when it is blatantly NOT free in any aspect.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but the ads just make SoraAI a scam with how it functions and how the ads portray SoraAI in its own.
(Don’t recommend at all, the ai chat dosent even know how to help with simple 1 line text inquiries of how SoraAI works either)

Purchased. Switched phones a week later and everything I purchased was deleted. Tried to make me pay again. Absolutely no customer support.

Very first prompt after downloading SoraAI is this screen asking review. There are many apps similar to this. Offering free 3/7 days trial period they don’t offer anything. Now you’re asking feedback so please improve on these points. Thanks And there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO YOU CAN TALK TO.

Perfect app which it could generate continuously

Truth is there is no free trial without signing up for a paid subscription. If you’re not committed to paying a subscription fee for quality of product unknown, don’t bother downloading.

Quality of the image generator is one of the worst I’ve seen and doesn’t come close to the samples they claim.

Only two videos allowed for a purchased product. For the weekly fee video generation should be unlimited. How are we supposed to learn how to work with this AI with only two videos. Complete Rip Off

This a fake ai video. My child was under impression it was sora ai by chatgpt. Apple has refused my refund after SoraAI force my child to buy $80 lifetime pass. I have disputed my claim. Again this is a fake app, and if you purchase anything apple will refuse your purchase. My child wanted to show me now ai video, so that’s how a i wasted $80.

I had a bad experience with Sora.
I prompted a 5-second vodeo animation of a logo, amd after about two hours, it gave me a 2-second animation of an anime character.

And that used up one of my TWO videos. I’m hesitant to make another video that is not at all close to what I asked it for.

I tried to make a logo with the image generator, and all it gave me was a weird, ugky collage with no text, and which, again, had no resemblance to what I’d requested.

Total failure, and I definitely regret the purchase.

The Sora in the news was created by a company called Open AI. And it will not be available for months or maybe years. This developer has taken advantage by using that name to trick people into thinking they are downloading/purchasing what they saw in the news created by Open AI. The company who created Chat GPT . Do not download SoraAI thinking it is the Sora in the news! This person is obviously a scam artist, because not only did they steal the name, and the demo images created by open AI. They also stole the name of a company, called stable diffusion.

So SoraAI looks cool , the download is free. But , you can’t try to make a video for free.
You have to pay .
If SoraAI is good I have no problem paying for it but I can justify paying to try it out.
Maybe when there is a trial period or 3 free try’s I’ll come back . For now the pay to try as pushed me away from SoraAI.

I am very disappointed in this. Having paid for a year I got two three second long videos that were lousy. Then they want me to buy more.

The photo options are poor compared to most inexpensive AI options.

I don’t see what this has to offer the buyer but I see what it gives to the makers of SoraAI .

I purchased the Lifetime offer with the understanding that it offered unlimited access. That turned out to be untrue. Further the quality of the images produced is nothing like what was advertised and is not of the quality that I understand Sora cam create. This is extremely disappointing and a waste of money.

SoraAI has had so much hype for the beta version on so many platforms with all of the “exciting” and “realistic” spoilers, and trying it myself was honestly so upsetting. The quality is horrible, it doesn’t follow prompts correctly at all, and the videos are super short (not a minute long like they were advertising online) and nothing like advertised. Don’t use your money on SoraAI unless you want to completely waste your time for an image that makes no sense, so many in app purchases, trials, and a video that looks like it was recorded by a toddler on an outdated Ipad. Honestly, the toddler could probably do better. This should be marked as misinformation and a scam, I can’t help but think the 5 star reviewers are bots.

To try to put it into words would be a disservice to SoraAI that creates pictures because pictures alone speak a thousand words.

(Aye can I get free premium for this review, I haven’t even tried SoraAI yet I just downloaded it, but like I help you help me bada bing bada boom.

Would like to try use once it’s working.

After more than several tries, all of the video promptings were stuck in ‘Creating’ mode with nothing resulting. Not sure if this was because I was using app on the phone or what?

Also fsr they cancelled the subscription but charged for this month.

Your credit card is dinged for demo credits ( And you thought is was free). $8.00 for 5 credits.... every generation is one credit...this is the demo price for one week.. folliowing week jumps to $10 per week or $2 per generation... This is almost a scam!

I so so wanted this to be viable

seven bucks for one month then they then you find out you only get five credits ie five videos I spent all five credits on each of the genres to generate a simple image of a human walking down a road and it would not do it. I would not buy SoraAI.

Listen, if you want a long video then you DON’T want to get SoraAI. I got the lifetime pass, and it does basically NOTHING!!! You also get a limited amount of credits for videos, even if you get a pass. you have to buy more credit. The videos on SoraAI are also very short, as short as a GIF! SoraAI is a total rip-off! Don’t waste your time and effort on trying to make a good video on it!

The ad I saw tells you all of the features than you go download it and asks you for a review PRIOR to showing you that you have to pay $10 a month prior to seeing what SoraAI even does which feels GROSS because all of these 5 star reviews could have very well came from people who never even used SoraAI before! A sucker is born every day I guess but I won’t be participating in this bait and switch scam. SoraAI offers a free 1 week trail in order to get your credit card on file hoping you forget like many of these unethical companies do. Just another time wasting energy drain thanks for nothing.

Really makes video editing easy, especially with AI generated visuals that really come to life especially on social media which ever one you choose.

App fails to deliver as promised, don’t purchase!!! Despite SoraAI ’s claims to turn words into AI art and create unique AI videos, it consistently produced the same nonsensical 2-second video resembling a grey building, regardless of the input. This did not align with the advertised functionality, and I requested a refund due to SoraAI ’s failure to deliver as promised. I essentially wasted my money on this ridiculous app.
