AI Mirror: AI Art Photo Editor Reviews

AIMirror is a lot of fun! I don't have much storage space on my phone, so I usually delete apps after using them for a few weeks, but AIMirror is one I have kept for over two months so far. My favorite thing personally to do with it is to take poorly made Fanart (Fanart by myself and sometimes others) and I put it through the regular 2D animation process. It doesn't take long, and afterwards, you usually get beautiful art. (If you are looking to make an anime version of yourself, I cant say it will actually look too much like you, but it is still a lot of fun.) Again, this is really the perfect place to perfect your art, if you aren't too skilled, like myself. Or if you want to see your art in a different art style and don't have the energy to redraw it in a different style, you can use this. My only complaint whatsoever is that sometimes the body parts can get wonky and once I put yaoi in and it changed the uke to a girl! Other then that, zero complaints. If I could, id rate it with 4 and 1/2 stars, but I cant, so I gave it 4.Thanks for a great app! :)

This seems like a really great app, but I am unable to use it pretty much at all. I’ve gotten maybe 2 pictures in total, and one of them was weird. So basically, anytime I’ve put in a picture to be changed, an ad pops up. That’s totally fine and reasonable, if that were the only problem I’d still give it a 5 star, but the problem is that the ads don’t close.

I’ve only had one ad that closed, and that was on the second picture, the first time I got an ad. I’ve maybe tried around 30-35 times now and each time I sit through the ad, and the x is in the upper right corner. I press the x and see that little gray box light up around it showing that I am interacting with it, but nothing happens. I stay on the ad, and even if you wait until your picture is displayed, the only way to exit the ad is to close AIMirror and as you have to press the save button on a picture… there’s nothing left. Basically AIMirror is unusable, but I’m going to keep it downloaded in the case that it gets fixed.

For reference, I’m using an IPhone 11

I downloaded AIMirror to try it out. Their ads were all over the apps I use and I thought it might be cool to try out for fun pictures and artwork. AIMirror works fine, however the filters are an issue for me.
Most of the models for the filters are white/Caucasian or lighter tones of skin. Each filter I tried would whiten my skin and make me look unrecognizable, when I thought the point was to cartoonize the subject of the photo. It makes you look like the represented art style, but doesn’t adjust it to be inclusive of darker skin tones. Not all the filters were like this, but most of them were and didn’t actually change it was just the original picture with photoshopped clothes and backgrounds. :/

AIMirror is so great! When I got it I assumed you know that it would be not like the add but it is AMAZING. There are frequent adds, but personally I’m fine with that. It works so well, on people and animals. One condition, on the home page, you can chose a type you want to turn into. For example: Anima, Warrior, Cartoon, etc. You can only access the one with “Free” at the bottom. They are still really good so I’m not complaining, but you have to pay $30 a year to access all of them. Over all great app, I’m just saying there’s something that you have to pay. I 100% love AIMirror and use it for all my profile pictures now!!! I think you should get AIMirror and enjoy!

Really happy with the filters and the results. Only issues are around deleting photos to keep things tidy. If you use a photo from your phone photo roll in a filter, then later delete the source photo from your phone photo roll, the photo will still appear in AIMirror ’s photo chooser even though it’s no longer on your phone. Also, you can delete AI-generated photos from AIMirror ’s gallery, but the deleted ones still appear if you go to create a new filter/photo by selecting a filter and then tap on the Gallery tab. Finally, when you save images to your phone, AIMirror apparently does not add a .jpg extension to the saved file since that is missing when you import the saved photo into some other apps.

Love AIMirror, it works really well and stays pretty accurate to how the photos I upload to it originally look, there is a slight problem I’ve noticed though.

If a character in the original image has an expression that is anything other than a smile, AIMirror tries really hard to force a smile onto that character in the conversions, even if I lower the image value.

Don’t know if this is possible to tweak, but I’d like the expressions of characters to remain the same after converting them. Other than that, a fantastic app ^^

I would rate AIMirror a 5 if it didn’t have a blaring issue being that you can’t delete photos off the camera roll. If you take a picture or use a picture from your phone’s storage and you realize you don’t like it, it is going to be stuck there in the camera roll on AIMirror forever. The help that is provided for this issue is completely useless and not even the first step provided gets you anywhere. The developers don’t seem to understand the issue that is being brought up so you get some random feedback that doesn’t help. Hopefully this gets fixed in the future because AIMirror has a lot of cool features and has a lot of creative options.

Omg! AIMirror is awesome just pure awesome I love it love it love it 😍! One thing is the adds and some things are not available if you don’t have premium and the ads also I don’t mind them but if there could be less? Not trying to force anything but seriously I just got AIMirror yesterday and I was dying to try it so I had to try it this morning and now i’m obsessed with it I look awesome as an anime character, and I since I no longer have Tiktok which let’s you use an anime filter as well I can just use AIMirror! Thx so much yall are amazing 🤩

I use AIMirror all the time. I enjoy converting various pictures of family and friends. And the styles are almost endless! However, I like to listen to music when I use it. The main screen (where you choose a style), and the pop-up save menu always stop my music. I understand that the videos you can save have sound, but I do not see a reason why these screens would stop music being played in the background. (I’ve never heard AIMirror play a sound except for the videos you can save.) If you can fix this issue, I’d be happy to give it a 5 star review!

It works as advertised! I thought that it was gonna be another one of those apps where I download it to see what it’s all about and delete the same day but it’s not. It even allows you to download the photo really easily. If you want to download the photo without the watermark you can you just have to get the subscription but I respect that since that’s the way that they want to do business on this amazing app. I would recommend everyone to download this.

TLDR: can’t close some ads on the iPhone 13 Pro, making AIMirror unusable.

I’m using the free version and have really enjoyed it. However, sometimes the ads that are played have the X button to close them it the very upper right corner of the screen. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro and this is where the Wi-Fi signal and battery life are displayed and I cannot interact with the button to close the ad. So I’m just trapped in the ad until I close AIMirror . My only option is to close AIMirror and hope I don’t get that ad again. I’ve noticed this with ads for RAID most recently.

If this weren’t a problem, I’d give the free version a solid 4 stars.

I really liked the content of AIMirror but I had to contact apple to cancel my subscription because it wasn’t letting me do it myself through my AppStore like it should. I only wanted to try it out for the trial but I don’t think a subscription should be weekly like that it’s too expensive. And why is there a wait time like your in a call center for the photos when it’s an AI. It’s too long I had to wait a whole hour for a photo to turn into something when the free browser AI similar to this one is way faster by seconds with no waiting times. Other than that everything was cool up until I felt like I was getting scammed when I couldn’t end my trial never had that problem before.

So I was in a guests house and my fr wanted to do AIMirror because it was fun. We then tried before and since we had no wifi we got wifi and then it says when we get into AIMirror , “Failed to load, click to reload” and so I press if multiple times and it keeps saying that it can’t load. I have WiFi, I restarted my phone, I turned the WiFi off and on again, I deleted it and reinstalled it and it won’t work. I hope this is just a glitch and not happening to their people because this is very upsetting because I love to use AIMirror for pictures with my friends.

I think AIMirror is amazing but TBH what would be better than money is making other people happy. I can’t use my 3 day free trial so I try to make the best of this awesome app by patienty waiting through adds and using the 7 filter that are free. I would make me happy and other people happy by getting rid of the adds and prices and instead getting 5 stars and good reviews so every one would want to play AIMirror and so on. Please think abt it?

There’s way to many ads and some of them u can’t click out of which results in u having to reset the whole app and the generated photo doesn’t save, it also asks u numberus times if u wish to pay for the subscription instead of just clicking no once just to completly get rid of it, howveer i can’t lie about the photo generated bc some of them are high quality however if u don’t wanna be tortured with the unnecessary ads and having to bear the fact of opening and closing AIMirror countless times just to get 1 photo out of the 7 others that u have to pay for, I recommend just going to a different app

I know this title is like, “WHAT?!” But hear me out, I took a pic and it gave me so big like I don’t even want to say it I WASN'T WEARING A BRA! And the worst part the shirt it gave me was see through! And I was “omg this game I don’t even have a shirt like that” And my mom was like,” eww what is that I would never let you wear that!” And on the worst part was, IT DIDN'T EVEN LOOK CLOSE TO ME! But for my sister it looked like her identical twin! But it was very cute! My mom loved this and I think you should get!😀

overall a great app. What I would love to suggest is to have a 2D animated Disney filter.

overall, it does a good job, but the processing time is too long not everyone can afford to pay money just to use this. Obviously, you should increase the processing even if it’s free after all, we are consuming odds, and you will potentially lose people who will be exposed to your ads and don’t think that just because the wait as long more people will be tempted to buy that’s not how it works people just give up on your App together. Before I had to wait a minute and I didn’t mind but now it’s like a 10 minute wait and that’s a huge problem.

So the is the best no joke I mean like it’s not TikTok and if you want to do the ai filter then this is AIMirror you should download but one tiny tiny problem if you want more filters you have to pay for them but why does everyone complain about AIMirror and it’s adds the adds are fine so be quiet most ratings are pretty good so if you want TikTok but your parents don’t let you download AIMirror now😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

So first it works nicely but after you fifth one it will not let u do it anymore so if u want AIMirror prepare to have a useless one like like literally, it only lets you use it a few times then it pops up the thing saying that you can’t use it unless you get a subscription for like $10! I don’t get why they didn’t just have you pay for it! It does not work sometimes either.

AIMirror is truly great, and I have had a blast generating art, so I went and bought the weekly subscription. The issue is, all of a sudden, I am prevented from generating anything. AIMirror forces the subscription prompt whenever I try to generate, which locks me out completely; I can’t even use the free filters! Deleting and reinstalling AIMirror is only a temporary fix; it will let me use the free filters again (after watching ads,) but when I restore my subscription, I am locked out once again. I didn’t pay the weekly subscription to use the free version, so this is a rather annoying issue.

Great app, truly have no complaints!

However, I will suggest this: Most Ai art apps do have the ability of a couple option. Most offer it as an incentive for them to earn money. I do think adding this would be a phenomenal feature. Being able to either upload a photo you’ve taken with your significant other OR separate photos of either person to create a couples portrait.

Out of all AI apps, I find myself using this the most and truly hope the devs continue to add new features. Awesome job!

When I first saw AIMirror , I looked at the photos and saw one that showed people in an iron suit and thought that was pretty cool . So I downloaded AIMirror to see if I could try it out (and other photo editing) . I found it then tried it out and realized that it was premium . Then I realized that half of the photo editing creations were premium . AIMirror is great but my only suggestion is that you make some of the photo editing creations non-premium then that would be nice . Otherwise AIMirror is great ! Thank you for taking your time to read this.

I tap “draw” to convert my image and sit through the ad but at the end of the ad, even though I’m not touching ANYTHING, AIMirror automatically redirects me to AIMirror Store for AIMirror I had just watched an ad for (for example if I sit through a Project Makeover ad, at the end of the video AIMirror automatically switch from the Mirror AI app to AIMirror Store app page for the Project Makeover app) and it’s really disruptive and invasive. I don't mean the in-app popup download link that it usually shows while staying in the AI Mirror app, I am talking straight up switching to a whole different app even though I haven’t touched the video ad on the screen or tapped on a link. I haven't had this issue until the most recent update. Other than that I love AIMirror and already get a lot out of it without having to pay! Please please fix this issue, it’s really frustrating and is ruining my experience with AIMirror and its awesome features. Thanks!

AIMirror is really fun I’ve done it on my cats plushy‘s and even on my self there’s only just one problem the subscription my family has been losing $100 per month because of the subscription and another one now I just hate subscriptions here’s an idea maybe to make more money instead of sucking money out of peoples wallets and you make someone pay for all the special styles I’ve seen plenty of AI drawing apps, but I think this one’s special because it has so many styles but I’m also very sad because I don’t get to use a lot of those special styles and I do want to record videos and have the AI generate them I just don’t get to because I don’t have the subscription anymore, so can you please change it I might want to delete it

I think AIMirror is quite nice and definitely great with its ai generations. But I think it’s unfair how almost all the options are only for premium and how most of the free ones are lower quality. I think if you really want those to buy premium you could at least give those who can’t afford it an option like to watch 10 ads or something in order to use a premium for 10 minutes or something similar, I feel like that would be much better and if they want to use it again they have to watch 10 ads again. I rather that than never have the option and have to pay for premium to basically get access to the whole app at this point. Like I said AIMirror has potential but how it is is unfair to me.

AIMirror has now become one of my favorites to use, mainly because I can have fun with all of the mechanics it has to offer, although I would’ve preferred the option of a more horizontal layout for AIMirror mainly because I use my iPad on AIMirror often, and also increase the size of the aspect ratios because as much as I like AIMirror, I can’t fit an entire photo while I am editing it. So I would really appreciate it if you guys could consider my thoughts on AIMirror. Overall, a 5 star app in my opinion.

I love AIMirror and it's amazing generations however I've come onto a problem with the ads. I'm not mad that the free version has ads or anything it's just that sometimes I'm unable to click the X on them to close out after the timer has run out! I have an iPhone 13 and sometimes the X gets put right where the battery is displayed and that unfortunately makes AIMirror unusable until I get a new ad, and I usually get the same one repetitively so then AIMirror becomes unusable for hours until the ads refresh. I'm not sure if this is something AIMirror makers can fix or if it's just the ads that are being shown to me having bad displays!

I was an avid supporter and enjoyer of AIMirror for months. The ai’s abilities to do the different styles is incredible and I have a long library of awesome art. However, it began going south when they introduced the bikini filter. That was avoidable and not the worst thing in the world (definitely not for kids or >15), and then they introduced the custom anime filter. On one hand, I could get really creative and make Cloud Strife from FF7 in a Persona 5 style, but every now and again with female pictures, it would just randomly make it pornographic, like topless pictures. That concerned me, and then it got worse with the real life custom filter. That would outright lean incredibly heavy on making women hyper sexualized and nearly, of not partially, naked.
Until you guys set some restrictions on what people can type for prompts (nothing is filtered), I’m not redownloading AIMirror, even if I paid for the yearly service (which I did cancel). At this point, you’ve made it an 18+ game and you shouldn’t be advertising this to young kids

I have been looking for an app to turn images into cartoon outlines for a while now. It helps speed up my workflow to be able to turn the drawing of trash cans, tree stumps, and other minor background stuff into a push-button automatic process. AIMirror works wonders in that department. So what’s the problem?

I use the majority of my apps in horizontal mode on my iPad. I’m not a big fan of having to rotate my desk setup for the sake of using ONE app. All the other iPhone-first apps at least give me the option to use the phone aspect ratio rotated to fit the way the iPad is sitting when AIMirror was opened.

Until AIMirror considers horizontal iPad users fully, it only gets half credit from me.

The game is so fun you can AI anything u want it will look just as pretty as you Think that it will you can AI yourself ur dog or anything else that you have at ur home Love the game so much I look so pretty in the AI so you should try it out yourself don’t forget to look at the comments before u play any game to see what people rate the game and if it is a good game Bad game or a lie I hate people that Lie to you about robucx in the game to make it look interesting but it is obviously a lie well that is it just hope y’all have A great School year byeeeeeee!!!!😗🌈😝

Love that this is a somewhat affordable app that works great. Especially love the Realistic Custom filter where you can add a prompt. It would be great to include this element in other filters.

My issue is that whenever you input an image of a woman, it adds massive breasts, cleavage where there is none, and often reduces the clothes to nothing. I have no issue with this if it is what the prompt is asking for, and I understand that "beautification" is a major driver for these apps. But for this to happen no matter what image or prompt you enter is different, and it seems quite deliberate on the part of the developers. Sexualization should not be the default just because the input is a woman.

Would change to a five star if we were able to have a little more control over when and to what extent our images are turned softcore.

AIMirror is fun to be able to play around with different images. However, I have noticed a problem that with some of the images AIMirror has a problem, defining the gender of the person in the photo it switches them between male and female and female and male, no matter how many times that I re-draw the same image comes out with the same result. I’ve tried different images, thinking that it was just that image problem and I get the same results. I tried moving the slider to different percentages and the results are the same. It would be nice if you were able to hard lock in the gender of the individual in the photo.

Honestly im obsessed with AIMirror, its quick, unlimited redraws and cute!!! But its not necessarily accurate it alters the photos but it still comes out nice so if your looking for an exact conversion you really have to drop the bar down to like 10-30 but it makes it less clear. Also if your latino and tan but you got a wide nose it will completely either make you black or white, and give you a skinny nose most times!!! Which completely changes the accuracy HOWEVER it can come kind close when you drop the power bar thing to 10-35 in the “Romantic” setting. Regardless I still love this thing and spend wayyyyy too much time on here!
I guess my only criticism is they need more accuracy when drawing Dominicans/Puerto Ricans and people who look similar .

I’m paying for AIMirror because I love the AI portraits it makes of my own photos, however I’m a black woman, and most of the anime modes make me almost light skinned or white, especially if I have blonde hair.
I even tried to edit 2 videos and both made me much lighter than I am, so now I’m down to only 1 video left and I’m beyond furious, if I’m paying for an app I’d expect it to be extremely diverse but it seems while you made AIMirror you completely forgot about actual dark skinned people and that’s heartbreaking.
I really hope devs are still paying attention to these reviews and see this and replies to it or fixes the program to read darker skin better, because if not I will be getting a refund. It’s so frustrating that it’s 2023 and this is STILL a problem for my people 🤦🏾‍♀️

When I first installed this on my iPhone, it worked perfectly. I was able to download the files and they would show up from my phone to my computer, or I’d be able to upload from my phone to discord directly and it’d be smooth and upload without a problem. Now, though, when I upload a file to discord it comes up weird instead of showing the picture; I have to actually copy the photo from my library before it will show up in discord and it’s an extra and unnecessary step when it used to work just fine previously, a couple months ago. And it is not computer compatible when I try to transfer it onto my computer from my phone. Getting a new phone has not made a difference.

Out of 100 I would rate this a 90. For the grand majority of the time most of the photos come out looking really nice however there are times where some funky things go on like one arm much shorter than the other. Fingers going every which way or extra fingers. And then once in a while, body parts completely go missing then my biggest peeve is that the face gets changed way too much lips get plumper eyebrow shaped changes eye color changes. These are no good a lot of the times the person being used, hardly looks like themselves afterward. Also, I get why it doesn’t allow certain things to go through because of them being inappropriate but they’re been a few things that don’t make so sense why they can’t go through. And this also needs to change but other than that, the apps really awesome.

I take nothing away from AIMirror and would give it a perfect ten ⭐️ BUT when making AI ANIMATIONS in the videos section why are we limited to ONLY 10 sec of recorded trim time ??? Plus it keeps recharging another .99 cents after EACH USE ? It’s bad enough that companies are ripping us off in the Apple 🍎 Store but we who are paying is the REAL REASON your company is in business. All I ask is “do the right thing by us” or stop taking our money and stay out of the 🍎store ! PS. Folks AIMirror is still worth the buying but be warned you SHOULD NOT USE THE SECTION were you make AI Mirrors video animations till they lets us know we will always be paying extra every time we use it ! We pay for a product we like and love BUT demand a fair product!!!!

When I tell you that AIMirror NEVER disappoints, I absolutely mean it. It has a variety of different art styles and the AI perfects it every time. And the fact that it's both free, and the ads are short, makes it all the worthwhile. Not to mention that the results come fast and satisfactory, and if you don't like the results the first time, which is almost rare in my case, you can have them redraw it. I love AIMirror, and I will never delete it or stop using it. You can tell that the art is AI, but it's different. And if you know the problem AI has with drawing hands, AIMirror doesn't do that. The hands look accurate, as if a real person drew them. I am absolutely satisfied with the download I made today, and I suggest you to download it too. You won't be disappointed, I promise.
