Do you want me to pay you or not?

First of all how on earth is it that OG&E only first launching their app in 2023. Second the text field for the credit card number dose not support input from password managers or pasting. This adds a significant amount of friction to paying your bill and is extremely user hostal. It seems like maybe they think it’s some sort of data protection measure but in reality I think the product owner/project manager just knows nothing about data privacy best practices and is making things up as they go. Let 1Password enter my credit card number and I’ll come back to change my review.

Easy to use app

I pay my bills so easily no hassle 10/10 for me.

Didn’t provide an activation number and turned off my power.

Og&E failed to give me an activation number to pay off my balance, and the same day they provided the number (4 days later), they turned off my power. Thanks OG&E!

Terrible

Just like the company, OGE is just trash. The lack of functionality is frustrating. You can’t even change simple things about your account in OGE . It’s basically an app where you can give them money. Because that is all this company cares about. But what else is to be expected from literally the worst power company that has ever existed with the worst customer experience ever.

Horrible App

I entered my email and my password and it got me through then when I went to add my account number and my activation code and click on the name o

it said error. I did this about seven times still error

Cash Grab

They just made OGE to say they have an app. No real useful information about power usage. And from the other reviews, sounds like it’s even harder to make payments than just using their website.

Worst app ever

More of a joke than the main web site. Whoever run this companies IT/web page must be very old and completely out of touch. App shows my bill from 2021 and no option to pay? Web site once you log in makes you find your current open account to pay? What a joke! Why would a company start you at an old address and closed account instead of pulling you in Q to the only open account. Get your act together OG&E.

not enough options

i only wanted to pay a portion of my bill. not the entire thing. there is no option to change the amount to pay. it defaults to the total amount due.

login issues

Login should allow using my phone's passcode of face id fails. Every other app does! Also, I shouldn't have to login just to see the outage map, previous versions allowed that. The outage map is PUBLIC FACING not tied to my account. Make those changes and I'll change the rating.

Doesn’t have checking accnt payment option

First time paying via OGE . It only gives me the option to pay using a debit/credit card which they charge for. There is no option for checking account. When I look at my profile it shows my account information but there’s no option to pay by checking. Am I missing something?

Update: I now see there is an option to pay via a checking account. Make a Payment, Payment Method. If you’re already have your checking account set up the info should be there. Or you can add payment. This was not like that before. I pressed all the buttons and drop down menus and did not see that option. Thanks for updating OGE .

I hope that the next feature is to see the actual statement. That would be a huge improvement.

Can’t log in today

It got stuck on the log in page and load forever with error messages

Multiple accounts

Need to be able to pay multiple accounts as on the web page.

Incorrect Balance Shown & Date. Also recommendations!

OGE is showing an incorrect balance for my account. It also doesn't show the same balance as my current bill? Also the date shown for the balance on my account in OGE says 4-15-22 & today’s date is actually 1/20/23 not 4/15/22? OGE should show & reflect everything that OG&E’S website shows for my account. Not just a small amount shown. And OGE should include push notifications for my account as well. To let you know when a new bill has generated for you’re account or if you have a past due balance etc. OGE should have push notifications that reflects everything for you’re account to keep you informed with the latest details about you’re account to keep you updated without having to log into OGE or the website!

No iPad app?

OK for a phone app I suppose, but energy insights would be easier to use on a larger screen WITH LANDSCAPE MODE, please.

Improvement

Leave it to OG&E to be the last utility company to have an app but better late than never. There is room for improvement like being able to actually view your current and previous statements but overall OGE works better than OG&E’s grid does.

About time!

So glad there’s an app now! However, it only has the option to pay bills and report an outage. It would be nice if we could see our usage and all of the other features available on the website.

Bank account option?

Easy to use but I didn’t see an option to pay via my bank account (which is how I pay online). is there a service charge for using debit or credit? I didn’t even bother and went back to online.

Averaging

App doesn’t show averaging in the billing section. Only the hat you would pay if you were not in averaging. Very confusing when trying to budget.

Password manager

Please update OGE to support password managers

I think they are doing the best they can right now. If they take our suggestions into account I think they will have a very good app. I love using their app just needs a few modifications but I think they are doing great.
