Every app leading up to actually using Chromecast is free. Except the last app you need, Chrome-this app Casting. This service shouldn’t cost money for many reasons. My favorite is that it doesn’t matter because I’m not stupid enough to buy it. Hey Google, we’ll use your service less if we have to pay for it. That leaves me as a very discouraged customer who’s downloaded 8 apps related to this issue. I downloaded Cast thinking it was required to this app in my hotel room. I was multi-tasking and just wanted to get started. Cast easily prompts for a LIFETIME membership. Luckily $30 doesn’t break the bank but how easily it was to be prompted to buy something and with a finger scan AND it’s not required to use Cast . Very deceptive installation steps and I have requested a refund. I just think Cast knows exactly what it’s doing.

Utterly disappointing. You can’t even use Cast anymore without repetition after repetition of the same actions to get nowhere. Google products are getting worse and worse as the years goes by…. Done with google products

Cast is straight-up busted. I was hyped to this app my shows, but now I’m just stuck in the mud. I paid for premium, and it’s jacked up beyond belief. Their support team is just talking in circles, and I’m over here feeling like a total clown. Don’t fall for this cash grab, or you’ll be outta luck

Tried casting multiple times, and it either won’t connect or lags so bad it’s unwatchable. Support takes forever to respond and doesn’t help at all. Whole thing feels like it was made by someone who never tested it.

Added this & had to pay for subscription then attempted to pair my phone & despite many attempts & followed instructions, never could connect! Frustrating with no clear info on how to cancel the subscription

I purchased Cast to stream movies on my hotels tv. Not even 24 hours Cast completely stopped working. The hotels internet is working on multiple devices so I assume it has to be a problem with Cast. Save your money. Very disappointed.

Cast got no energy. Like, it don’t even try. You open it, it just vibes there—lookin’ pretty but doin’ nothin’. Can’t stream; can’t scroll; can’t even load proper. It’s like an influencer with zero talent. All looks, no function. Definitely not worth the space on my phone.

It say there was a free three day trial so I clicked it to see if there was one. Automatically made me sing up for the monthly plan and got charged. Would love my money back but I highly doubt they will give me anything back. The screen mirror doesn’t work either.

Save your money. This doesn’t work with Netflix and you can’t get any help from the contact button the provide you. Try the month plan before purchasing the year or lifetime, maybe it will work better for you

Man, Cast is wack! I threw down my hard-earned cash, and now it’s just spinning its wheels. Cast crashes more than a beat-up jalopy, and customer service is just blowing smoke. They keep giving me lip service, but no fixes. This is highway robbery, and I feel like a total mark. Someone better cough up my refund ASAP

Cast did not let me this app my screen nor me a share my screen. This is the main problem in Cast, and it doesn’t even do what it is supposed to, I am very glad I did not spend a single penny on Cast. - thank you for your time.

Subscribed but cannot use any premium features. Cast just stays stuck on loading, and no help from customer service. Tried reinstalling multiple times, but nothing works. I want my money back, but they won’t even respond

Cast it’s self is free, but if you’re trying to screen mirror from your phone, you have to pay for sound otherwise it just plays out of your phone speaker you also have to pay for just about everything if you’re not just using it to show a picture

Wake up, open Chromecast app, and boom—garbage. Same bugs, same lags, same nothing workin’. I thought updates fixed things, not break ‘em more. But here we are. App feels like it’s stuck in a Groundhog Day of failure. I’m done takin’ Ls from this mess. Google, do better.

I feel that the google Chromecast device should be sufficient to operate screen mirror with out a connection to WiFi. Since at time my WiFi is down (storm or maintenance) it prevents me from watching previously downloaded movies to my TV.

I can sign in and use my tv from the optimum people to watch tv.

I love Cast but how do you remove downloaded files?

Just got Cast and starting to hide it.

Lost my physical remote and don’t even have to worry. Thank you google.
