Every app leading up to actually using Chromecast is free. Except the last app you need, Chrome-Cast Casting. This service shouldn’t cost money for many reasons. My favorite is that it doesn’t matter because I’m not stupid enough to buy it. Hey Google, we’ll use your service less if we have to pay for it. That leaves me as a very discouraged customer who’s downloaded 8 apps related to this issue. I’ll delete them and you can delete me from any ongoing surveillance that Google (who l have trusted with my info) has going. Delete…
Beware - Deceptive Installation Steps

I downloaded this app thinking it was required to cast in my hotel room. I was multi-tasking and just wanted to get started. The app easily prompts for a LIFETIME membership. Luckily $30 doesn’t break the bank but how easily it was to be prompted to buy something and with a finger scan AND it’s not required to use the app. Very deceptive installation steps and I have requested a refund. I just think this app knows exactly what it’s doing.

The app it’s self is free, but if you’re trying to screen mirror from your phone, you have to pay for sound otherwise it just plays out of your phone speaker you also have to pay for just about everything if you’re not just using it to show a picture
