Video Stream for Chromecast Reviews

HALLELUJAH! You guys are the best. I can’t tell you how long I’ve been trying to find a Chromecast compatible browser that also doesn’t have adds that cover half the screen and allows for pause and playback along with file time selection. Every other app tricks you making you download it calling itself a Chromecast browser but doesn’t actually provide you with that capability unless you spend 5.99 for their /premium/ membership. It’s bogus. But you guys are legit. VideoStream does what it’s supposed to do for the as advertised price of free. So thanks. 10/10

This is my honest review. As much as I’d like to stream my videos to Chromecast with VideoStream, it just won’t work. There are many problems I’m facing and I don’t know who to contact. The connect button is unresponsive and there are not many instructions or guides in VideoStream to help me set it up. I’m sure it’s a decent app but till I get it to connect I’m afraid I cannot give them more than 1 stars. Fix the problems and then I will gladly update my review. So far I have been unable to watch any videos. I have the latest chromecast ultra and my iPad is updated to the latest iOS please help me solve the problems or at least give me an ETA on when you can fix the issues. I’m getting bored and impatient because I spent good money on my Chromecast and it’s not working!

I have been trying to find an app that can mirror the web from my phone and this is it. All of the others you have to pay to remove a banner that pops up in the middle of the screen during the movie. They make you pay $9.99 to take off the banner that takes up the whole screen. It won’t go away until you pay! I found VideoStream and it has changed watching programs for me. Totally recommend!!!

VideoStream is the best whenever I need to play Quran on the tv it works I have never had an app that works as good as this some of those chrome sat app did not work as even close to how good this one did 10 out of 10 would recommend this wonderfully amazing incredible app I love it VideoStream 😍so much I use it on the daily basis you should use it 🙂 VideoStream is the coolest😎 try it trust me

I really enjoyed VideoStream and think it’s good and all. However my only complaint is that when casting, the volume and pause button will flicker and it starts to get annoying to watch shows. I could be in the middle of the show and it will randomly pause or mute by itself without me touching my phone or tv remote.

I purchased the premium version of VideoStream.
App works for for about an hour. After that the broadcast stays on the tv screen and does not stream the content to the tv.
The only way to restart is to shut down the iPad and turn it back on and start streaming again. Sometimes you have to shut down and restart many times before you can stream again.

😡 Requires a credit card to activate be it Free or Non Free. Does not mirror your phone unless you are on external WiFi. You must give up your email address before you learn all this. And there are fees listed. VideoStream is not a standalone product. I need to mirror directly from my phone without the need for an outside WiFi source. It’s a deceptive money making marketing scam. You must also have Chromecast to use this service.

Would like ads to be completely blocked. Also the home page would like to remove whatever the apps are on it. I was using Castio until a banner kept appearing on it

difficult to navigate - difficult to get the movie actually on to be cast!
ads are obnoxious and the continuous animated signs “sign up” for this that and the other thing is awful and complicates the procedure of getting a movie on your tv screen is tiny because other things are imposed on it
At first the ap was easy then more and more stuff was on the page so today I gave it up and watched the movie on my phone

I’ve been trying to use VideoStream for nearly the last hour and I keep having to restart it - freezing, window errors, “no media found”, unable to cast to devices for longer than a few seconds, ad-pop ups that bug the original app window, random disconnects but my WiFi is fine. Such a waste of time.

Currently there so doesn’t allow editing or removing bookmarks. It also lags quite a bit when loading some sites that Safari opens quickly. Some links seem to freeze VideoStream . I have VideoStream on my iPad, iPhone, iPad mini - all with the same results.

Doesn’t work, even paid for the premium and still doesn’t work. Only displays lil blue TV icon on screen. Will be submitting to Apple for refund.

However can u guys please add support for live streaming and video queue. Thank you so much! I will actually pay extra for those features if need be! :) thanks

Whenever I put something on the tv the video goes upside down so it is hard to see it and my mom’s phone is to laggy on the tv

I’ve been searching for any way to cast my iPhone to my google chromecast and this solved my problem. Best one on VideoStream Store hands down.

It doesn’t work on some website. it doesn’t block ads. Also, it kept asking to cast even when I don’t wanted to. Then it kept showing the video on the iPad too. Keep in mind not in the same speed.

It doesn’t actually let you stream anything. I kept trying and VideoStream just continued to freeze. It was super annoying to deal with. I force quit VideoStream and restarted it but it didn’t make a difference. My device also started heating up very bad.

It keeps failing me. One day it works well then the other it suddenly doesn’t. But on the days it does, it works fine. It just freezes up on me and won’t cast the videos on my tv even though it says it’s connected. Please fix this issue.

I bought the premium version and it did not work, I would like a refund. I will be contacting Apple for a full refund. Minutes after paying for the premium version of VideoStream I was still experiencing the same casting issues as the free version. Smh, i fell like I was scammed for $4.99. Smh

Before updating, this was the go to app. Now I can’t open fullscreen. Apple needs a rollback option.
