There is no way to delete the chats!
Delete option must be added for security reasons. Even before any launches!
It’s a bad idea for a chat app in 2023 that you cannot delete your chats/messages!
Hope add this function soon.

Tried creating a room and sending the invite but I’m yet to see anybody I send the invite to able to connect.

This latest version keeps crashing when opening, on iOS 16.4.1 iPhone 8

Can’t add or create groups. Useless!

App has bug

For me atleast, did not work as advertised.
Sent invite out to a friend. Both of us had Keet open while trying to connect on a Room. No dice!

Giving it 2 stars for the effort. I understand p2p is complex. Wish to see things work.

One of the most absurd things about Keet is that you cannot leave a room once you’re in it. All these updates and yet I’m still stuck in rooms I don’t want to be in anymore bc for some reason that is evidently a complicated feature to add…?

Moving on to something else. I’ve waited long enough…

Hey guys! I’m a Bitcoiner, and have been patiently waiting for Keet to drop! Love everything it stands for. I’m just running into a minor bug where I can add people to my room, or me join theirs, and I can send messages but I can’t see any messages they send. Just letting y’all know so you can keep a look out for this big 😎

Great App As always.. But.. if the release were more complete (video. Calls. etc) from start.. but. still great project for personal privacy. ✅ 👏 👏

Keet has to be updated around once a week. Its really annoying & makes me feel insecure about Keet’s stability. other than having to update so much Keet is pretty cool.

I watched the ScreencastsOnline tutorial and downloaded Keet , which I plan to experiment with. Please implement video on IOS!

Performance-wise right now (very first version) this probably will feel like a 3 star experience for the uninitiated average user looking for normal chat. But among the P2P, encrypted, private, decentralized chat apps, there is no comparison; easy 5 stars. So I decided to split the difference at 4 — when the mobile version works as well as their desktop, it’ll be 5.

This is *truly* P2P and encrypted by default, in fact the encryption is built into the very means by which you find and connect to peers, such that the encryption can’t even be removed. Right now, being a server-less system, data availability is hit or miss, but should improve significantly with time and more users. Also rooms with 50+, or 100+ peers can get really sluggish to load. But the desktop version had these problems and were all sorted out after a few months, and they specifically say the software is still “alpha.” Best way to use it is in conjunction with the desktop version, that way your desktop acts like a more permanent “seeder” of the chat room. This helps keep it updated and available for your mobile device and anyone else who joins.

Keep an eye on Keet and Holepunch, I think they are building something incredible.

Since the release of 2 I’m having issues joining rooms and even opening Keet after trying to join a room
