I have been using superimpose x for years now and it is my favourite photo editing app for mobile devices, and was naturally very excited to use the video editing version. However i think because the app is so new it has alot of bugs and glitches. I hope that it can improve and eliminate the glitches cause it gets very frustrating at times and it makes video editing super time consuming. Also another change i want to see is with the keyboard commands. I use the app on my ipad so i would really like it if i could delete, copy, paste clips using the commands on my keyboard. As well as dragging multiple clips at once would be amazing.. other than that i have very high hopes with the app and thoroughly enjoy how much you can do with the editing for it being a mobile app and not a computer software. :)

This us the best multi track editor that exists for iPhone. It supports effectively unlimited tracks. I’ve done videos with well over 40 tracks and it worked great. Additionally, it has a wide variety of capacities like auto face masking, green screening, a huge library of effects, transitions and more. This is a very powerful video editor that suits much closer to the truly pro end of the spectrum than any other I have found for iPhone. Which makes it even more impressive that the interface is extremely intuitive and very well thought out.

The only downside is that this app feels frozen in time. I have contacted support multiple times about bugs or features I wanted added and have never once heard back. So if something isn’t working right you will need to figure out a workaround yourself. Fortunately, with rare exception the things I found that didn’t always work properly tended to be the more advanced features. The exceptions includes the project export (also used for sending project to support). There is an issue where once your project gets large enough (in size) it stops exporting everything and just randomly loses clips. Similarly, on very large projects it will hang up opening the project and can require multiple force closes and retries to successfully open the project.

However, even with these rough patches I maintain that this is the best multi track video editor that exists for iPhone today.

I love the functionality and lightweight performance of this video editor. However, there are some tools I would like added. A 'Audio Panning' effect with key frame support would be fantastic. Being able to change the audio channels would be nice too.

However, there are some bugs right now. The one that is extremely annoying is that every audio effect, fade in/out or any of the ones in the effects menu make the audio play on only one channel instead of both. It's more noticeable with headphones/earbuds. I'm not too good at explaining things like this, but I hope that if the developer sees this, they can look into this and hopefully find out what I'm talking about.

Regardless, this has great potential and I'm looking forward to the future for this video editor. 4/5.
