Perfect Video Editor, Collage Reviews

After trying out multiple slideshow apps, I would recommend Perfect Video for it’s ease of use and functionality. It had the features I was looking for (multiple song track options from my music source -itunes, user-friendly interface, non-subscription based), as well as several others I didn’t know to look for which I appreciated. Unlike other apps, Perfect Video offers a brief tutorial up-front so that you do it right the first time, as well as help features as you’re creating your project. The user-interface is easy to use but also has many features: It allows two options for photo rearranging, uncomplicated video trimming, .10 second adjustment of photo intervals for perfect timing, and multiple background and transition options. As a very busy professional and Mom who doesn’t have the time to learn a complicated platform but wants enough options for a more customized slideshow, Perfect Video was the right choice for me. For free, you can create and view the slideshow, and for a onetime fee of $4.99, you can remove their watermark and save the slideshow to your device. I would recommend for those looking for a functional but easy-to-use slideshow app - thank you, Perfect Video!

I really enjoy using the premium app. Awesome music selections for different types of videos. I love how even if you erase your videos from your phone you can still edit and keep creating from the apps file, even without saving. I don’t know how they do it, but this is a great feature, especially when you have to delete your videos off your phone to create more space for saving and compressing your videos you just created from PerfectVideoEditorCollage . There are a few things that can be improved. The slow mo feature can be smoother. And the fade in and fade out from music changes can be improved. I’m not sure what their function is since I could not figure that out. Maybe creating a video tutorial about the different ways you can utilize the features would be rad especially for pro/premium members. I would also love to see the fill out feature be able to follow the subject in the video since the frame of the shot cuts out a large chunk of the video, and if it’s an action shot it will cut out the subject because the frame is only fixed to one spot. Over all an easy app to edit and create great videos.

I think this is a really great app when it comes to editing videos, I used to be a big fan of pocket video until the rolled out their new layout and its kinda hard to find stuff kinda like imovie, I dont even know if it has greenscreen effects anymore but anyways. the only thing I would change about perfect video is the speeds part and instead of having ticks like -25x, 0, 25x, 50x, 100x.. I would just have it 100% manual because not all of those speeds go with the audio that we’re trying to mash together. for example I was making a #BeyoncéAlwaysOnBeat video from her performance at the 2016 superbowl and I was trying to put the “In The Closet” track im the background which has a slower tempo but even the first tick I tried out was too slow for the song so I had to download a manual speed tempo app, figure out the speed I want by playing the song in the background and then coming back to perfect video to at the song. but aside from that, I would not change a thing!

Ok, I’m gonna start off honest- at first, I thought PerfectVideoEditorCollage was a piece of crap, and I waste of time. But I was so wrong. I bought the pro version and it gave me access to great features, like being able to save a vid for over 30 seconds! Honestly, in my opinion I think early users, (like I was) judge PerfectVideoEditorCollage too early. If they took some time to consider the pro, they’d see how much of potential PerfectVideoEditorCollage has. But no, they always say or think something like this: “ PerfectVideoEditorCollage only lets me save the first thirty seconds of my video free version? This is a terrible app! One star! I’m gonna leave a fricken terrible review then delete this! What a waste!” I’m just like, “Wow.” I mean, did you even CHECK how amazing the features of pro? I mean, just check the features. And there’s like 15 or a bit more features (I didn’t count) for only $4.99! Does anyone realize how good of a deal that is? Welp, I’m gonna wrap this up by saying, if I become a famous YouTuber, I’m gonna owe it all to the devs! Thank you devs SO much! 🙏

Almost every DAY we use this on multiple iphones and ipads. It's a portable dream come true.
I had this at 5 stars until this late 2019 update: its extra useless options leave a LOT of empty space leaving the actual video a tiny little spec which you're supposed to work with, for NO reason. You now must tap through a lot MORE routes to get what you want, it's too cluttered and not as user friendly, after 5 years of it I can say this is a bad idea.
Still that tutorial after every update.

I see reviews of people giving this one star because they have issues with ONE specific issue, I've never had a problem but I dislike the tutorial EVERY time I update the version and the mosaic reminding me what to do everytime I situate the function, but would never give such a nice cheap program a bad review.
Perks: Saves fast, great color balances, mosaic is so good, text animations are SWEET, and If you make music in another app, you can bring it into PerfectVideo.

You can do SO much with this thing. I was so tight on budget in the past that I simply couldn't afford 5$ to buy this, but it was my first app years ago and can say from MASSIVE experience, I would write a great review of this even a week after buying it.
I'm stuck on old version IOS and I still get NO BUGS.
I recommend this but be prepared: tiny work space, with 4K videos now smaller on PerfectVideoEditorCollage, its impossible to do what you want given the small work area.

I love PerfectVideoEditorCollage! It’s user friendly and has basic tools that most people need. I use the split tool a lot for cutting and adding special parts of my videos. I like the add text option and it’s variety effects. The transition effects are nice too! I’m able to add more than one song to different parts in my video which is cool.

Developer: please add animation options to pictures like zooming in and out, boomerang, etc. Also add border option please. Some vintage effects would be nice too!
Can you also consider putting an option to save video like converting it to one in PerfectVideoEditorCollage to be able to edit the video as a whole. I find it a little difficult to edit when I have many split video parts and have to click each one to make sure they all have same text/design. Thank you!

I love PerfectVideoEditorCollage and use it almost daily. I'm not the happiest about some of the recent changes in the latest update. The split option has moved and doesn't work the same way. I liked being able to select portions of the video to keep and discard the rest. Now I'm forced to keep it all and go back and delete the portions I don't want. It's tedious, but the end result is still awesome. I do have one other things I would love to see added in a future update: the ability to make changes to the default settings. Such as square crop and background color since I have to change them each time. It would just be a time saver. Thanks

PerfectVideoEditorCollage is perfect for simple edits and putting together video projects and I haven’t had trouble doing that. The only problem is that when I make my edit and then delete some pictures/recordings on my camera roll that I used to make the edit, it then deletes the photo/mini recording off the edit itself that is on PerfectVideoEditorCollage . This is really frustrating because I want to be able to delete pictures and videos to save storage on my phone, so when I delete pictures and recordings that I use to make an edit I still want those pictures and recordings to remain on the edit in PerfectVideoEditorCollage . Please help me if there is a solution! Thank you :)

I first thought the options for the pro version were inaccessible to me, when I tried to use them with an image instead of a video. Turns out the image editing options are quite limited. Of course, PerfectVideoEditorCollage 's name is Perfect VIDEO, so I won't hold it against the devs.

If it happens that you're trying to use the chrome key feature with an image, you can do so by opeing the image and then recording your screen while nothing but the image is visible on it. After editing, you can simply screenshot a frame of the saved video to make it an image again. It'd be great if the pro version let you use chrome key with images (and it'd be nice if it was made more clear that it doesn't) but it's easy enough to do without that functionality.

I'm giving this four stars because I'm very new to PerfectVideoEditorCollage but I'll give it five soon enough, provided it continues to work as it has been.

You guys are doing a great job but there may be some minor issues with your app. The first one idea I have for your app is to allow people to create a custom intro in your app, add more transitions for videos, allow recording in your app, allowed in App purchases and upgrades, you guys should do a big upgrade to your app. And some more options to edit your videos or photos. I allow photos to be put in with the video or while the video is playing. If I have anymore ideas for your app I'll be sure to tweet them out to you. Could also put a feature that allows you to make the video awesome motion so it’s not to fast or to slow. Thanks you so much.

Okay. I worked EXTREMELY hard on something in PerfectVideoEditorCollage. So, after about a couple of months
of working on it, I’m finished!! Yay right? Wrong. I go to export it onto my phone. What do I get?? “Upgrade to are pro version to be able to export more than 30 seconds of this video!” I. Am. LIVID. So PerfectVideoEditorCollage leaves me with one question. I understand the payment is low, but what type of payment?? It gives me no information on what type of payment. Once and done? Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? I want to give PerfectVideoEditorCollage more stars, but I will need an answer to do that. My presentation was 30 minutes long, and I think 30 seconds is a stupid time limit. Either change this or give me an answer. And I don’t want a copy and paste answer either. Please allow me to make my rating higher. Please? I don’t like having to rate apps this bad, but I don’t know what else to do really. Thanks for reading all this.

Ok, first I want to say that this a great video editor app that I would recommend to anyone making a video with a green screen... but, as with all great apps, there are some issues:
I have had some issues with the chroma key, I only got to make two videos before it stopped taking the color I wanted to use. Now it doesn’t work at all, and honestly, I’m pretty disappointed.
On the other hand, it’s pretty great, I like that it has no ads and my favorite feature would probably be the “create your own watermark” I would use PerfectVideoEditorCollage more if it worked a bit better.
Edit: I just figured it out, you have to have the green screen on every single frame or it won’t work, which is honestly kinda lame..

Every time i make a video I mostly use screenshots but PerfectVideoEditorCollage makes it impossible to use videos I leave for two seconds and the video that k was using is gone this just happened when I wanted to make someStorage in my photos it deleted everything once I was done so I have nothing after that and it was irritating because I had worked so hard for that and all my hard work is gone forever this is why I rated it a two star review and please fix this issue because I can’t make any videos because of this one flaw. Once you fix this issue I will read it a higher review but because you can’t magically fix it for me in two seconds I will change my review if you do fix this in the future.

Love this for making slide shows with a lot of photos. I've made one with over 100. Only negative is rearranging photos needs to be easier - rearrange one and it seems to throw a lot off. I will carefully plan the order to match either music or a series of events but when I import them it's a random placement so I waste time rearranging. Be sure to save each time or you lose any trimming of music or rearranging pix. Like ability to crop pix in case I forgot and being able to select individual duration. Only con is the random import of pix and rearranging once imported if made a bit easier, it would have a 5 star !

My team & I have been using Perfect Video for over 3 years for smaller on the go projects but now every time when we try to save our projects PerfectVideoEditorCollage consistently crashes or displays a “cannot complete action” message.

Secondly, we all recently purchased iPhone X’s & starting filming in 4k but when we attempt to slow motion the footage down to half the speed it renders it choppy & the footage lacks the super smoothness that we used to get when rendering 1080 HD footage to half speed slow motion.

Thirdly, the option to render in 4k disappears the more media files we use to create a project which is bewilderingly frustrating. We hope these are just recent bugs that will be fixed or my mobile editing team are gonna have to move to a different app for mobile editing.

This really is a great app and is really affordable. It’s user friendly and has a wide array of editing options. I’m so grateful I discovered PerfectVideoEditorCollage honestly. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it sometimes messes up my videos. When I try to access it after about a day or so, the sub videos are black, missing audio, and even using videos from my camera roll that I’ve never imported into PerfectVideoEditorCollage . That’s pretty significant . But it’s probably bc my vid was too large a file (7:10). So I guess videos under 4 minutes are ideal.

I love perfect video, I make a lot of my edits on there, it’s a great app for editing. I’m just very disappointed at why it deletes my videos? this is the first time something like this has happened so I’m very confused, like when i exit the video i was editing then go back in to edit it, some of the videos are blacked out or have that weird brown line all over it, if that makes sense, I worked so hard on my edit for the videos I added to just get deleted like that? I don’t understand what happened :(

I love perfect video. Ever since I got PerfectVideoEditorCollage , I have been utterly impressed by the performance of PerfectVideoEditorCollage. I can make every little thing perfect in PerfectVideoEditorCollage. If you’re looking for graphics or effects, then Video Fx or Power Director might be something you should get, but if you’re correcting errors in your videos before you add any visual effects, then Perfect Video is for you! When they say PERFECT Video, they mean PERFECT! You can go into every little detail and be truly satisfied by PerfectVideoEditorCollage’s performance.

This is my favorite editing app, but you can’t really use PerfectVideoEditorCollage without another one too. For example, I always use Perfect Video for my transitions and typing on the video, but you can’t add audio, and you have to mute the whole thing one video at a time. And it leaves a huge very clearly noticeable watermark and you have to download an app called instasize that requires money, too get rid of it. I know they want to make money or whatever, but they should just tone down the watermark so it doesn’t take focus off the whole video.

PerfectVideoEditorCollage is so good for editing. When I first got this, I thought the 30 second time limit was a little disappointing, but PerfectVideoEditorCollage is just fantastic once you actually buy the premium. And the premium is only 5$ which is a pretty good price! Honestly an fantastic editor that people need to honestly appreciate more, because when I looked at the reviews, people were mad at the editor even though this is the best editor I’ve ever found on PerfectVideoEditorCollage Store!

I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced way to edit videos on the phone and PerfectVideoEditorCollage does the trick. In just a few minutes I created a video by chopping a long video into sections and speeding up some segments, zooming some and slowing down others. I added text captions, sound effects and even the Picture-in-picture (actually video-in-video) effect. I use video editing software in my PC (I make elearning content) and this little package has many of the same features. Really well done!!

I bought PerfectVideoEditorCollage years ago and had no issues and found it very easy to use. Until about a week ago. While trying to make a video, every time I add photos and videos into the project it rejects them and says they are not on my phone or in my iCloud photo album. I took the videos and pictures on my phone and did not delete them and have made sure that they are in my iCloud photo album numerous times and it still pops up and won’t add them. It randomly added them to my project only to delete them a day later, so I tried uploading them again and again the messaged popped up saying the same thing.

I am using this application for years & it’s awesome since the features & the quality of exporting is required great no increase in quality& specially the file sharing system which lets u to attach anything to this application through your devices independently from pc connection or iTunes & this’s it’s great advantage,but it’s not somehow compatible with iPhone 5 unfortunately I hope the new updates release some solutions,thanks for developers for great supporting any questions & guidance & cooperations🙏🏽

I post exercise videos on Instagram and PerfectVideoEditorCollage helps me trim, speed up, slow down, etc... Super intuitive and works PERFECTLY! Unlike other similar apps you get access to everything for free if you don’t mind the watermark and the 30 second time limit. For $4.99 (one-time fee) you can get rid of the watermark and have unlimited time! Thank you to the developers for not charging a weekly, monthly, or yearly fee like so many others! Can’t wait to try out all the cool features!

To;dr: Arguably the easiest-to-use and most-powerful video editing app on iOS.

I rarely write app reviews but Perfect Video deserves one. It’s very powerful for nearly every kind of edit imaginable - speed, picture, splitting & trimming, text, etc - and after you learn the UI it’s incredibly easy to use.

My only wish is that the layout for some edits adapted better for different screen sizes (ie- bigger toggles for picture edits) . Hardly a dealbreaker, but definitely one area of possible improvement.

After having PerfectVideoEditorCollage for three years I’ve got to say it’s the best mobile app that I have used My only complaint is they need to get on the bandwagon and make one for computers laptops or like even if I had to pay for it I would buy it as long as it was the same with the ability to use cloud transfers like to dropbox etc. They really need to work on this and get a PC version going even if you have to buy download PerfectVideoEditorCollage use it I recommend it highly to everybody keep up the good work guys
