It MUST tell you whether the bill passed or failed and how your specific representative voted.
Also absolutely needs to show you a history of what bills were passed, and passed recently on similar issues. This way us as users can be better informed on the issues and what is actually going on in Congress.
Lastly, should have a "what to look forward to" section where you can see when congress will be voting on certain (possibly popular) issues so one can tune in/vote.
I know this is relatively new so I will eagerly but patiently wait for these necessary improvements.

This is a great idea for an app, but so far it doesn't tell you how your congressperson voted, how to connect with your congressperson, whether or not the bill passed or failed, what other bills have been voted on in the recent past or will be voted on in the near future, and perhaps a dozen other features that would make CapitolBells much better. As for now, all you can see is what is immediately up for vote and how other people with CapitolBells would vote if they could. I look forward to these sorts of improvements soon.

Vote on bills aside your congressperson? Great idea! However, recently there have been too many errors that won't even allow you to do that. And once you are unable to do the most basic thing, other issues pop up. Like it won't let you see how your congressperson is voting or how to contact them. It doesn't give stats about how people using CapitolBells are voting. It is a very general experience. Won't even let you pick which party you identify with!

This would be a great app if it worked. However, it is never able to "load user votes,” which is kind of the point of CapitolBells . It is nice for keeping up with what’s going on in a more general way.

I love the idea. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But it has never been able to register votes or even show them to me, and the layout is very counterintuitive. I hope an update will come soon!

This is it! I've been bummed ever since Visible Vote went away, but this takes the game above and beyond.
Push notifications that work, links to mobile versions of REALLY IMPORTANT CONTENT, and super-easy, super-fast UX and GUI. Now you can discuss bills with the full texts at your fingertips, and see votes as they're punched in. Can't wait to see where this goes.
Shut up and take my money!! And thanks, fellow citizen, from the bottom of my bitter, patriotic heart. This is a great foundation for societal political involvement. 🙌🙏👏

Although CapitolBells does have a few minor errors (occasional freezes mostly), it's still a marvelous app that's a great way to get involved with politics. The social aspect of it is great too..allowing you to share interests and ideas with others and see who agrees with you. It's informative and engaging and you just can't help yourself to check it once in a while to see what's new.

CapitolBells works well and runs pretty smoothly. It's interesting to see the bills out there, have them explained, see other people's opinions, and discuss politics while still being entertained. I can also see how it may become an effective tool for change.

I have struggled to understand politics, bulls, voting, and how laws get passed. With Capitol Bells I feel like I now have an easy way to peek in on what's happening on the hill.
