App keeps shutting down!!

I cannot access any articles and RobertParker shuts down when I attempt to log in! Deleting and asking for a refund. What a disappointment!

Why do I have to log in every time I open RobertParker ? Please fix this

Irregular even for an off app

Parker may give the 2010 Montrose or the 2010 Shafer Hillside Select a perfect 100, but he would probably give the latest version of his own app a 73. The old version was sufficiently usable and thorough. The upgraded version in purple/magenta is a disaster. The reviews of many wines have not made their way to RobertParker database yet. All systems updated on my iOS, but not a go for hundreds of reviews that were present in the prior version. For example, there is not one Opus One review to be found. The Emperor needs new app designers.

Poor Navigation; VERY Old charts - useless

Many parts of the vintage charts are woefully OUT OF DATE - some back to 2009 (hey we are in 2014 and so all 2012 ratings should be there!). The vintage charts are poorly structured - e.g California has North Coast and Central Coast. This is poor - North Coast could be divided in Sonoma, Carneros, Napa and maybe one or 2 others to reflect the climatic changes. Navigation is TERRIBLE. There is no back button so you have to go all the way back out to the beginning and start over again. Parker should be better than this.

Parker App

The Vintage Chart does not work. RobertParker just hangs. The search feature works fine and does what you would expect.

Awesome!

RobertParker is great! Parker reviews, ratings, and my wine cellar all in one place - and always with me. Perfect! I can even find where specific wines that are available for purchase online. For Parker subscribers this is a must have!

Old App had issues but was significantly better

The new version is significantly lacking. You have to login every time you open RobertParker . You can't use keywords to search for a wine. The drinking windows for each wine are not identified. Also it does not tell you when the wine was reviewed. How can you possibly go this far backward?please tell me that an update will be rolled out tomorrow.

STOPPED WORKING AFTER UPDATE!!

App no longer works as of latest update (plenty of comments in App Store to verify this is not an isolated incident). Search bar is inaccessible and so app is completely useless on either iPhone 4S or 5, at least.

Strange that this has been the case for at least 5 days now and no one has fixed it yet?!

The last update screwed up the app for iPhone 5

App demo disappoints

If you want someone to subscribe to Wine Advocate at $99 per year, one would think RobertParker demo would be a little more robust. It virtually had no functionality. A better approach may be to provide temp login for 30 days on a trial basis to website and app. Maybe, it is bugs from the last update per reviews.

Poorly maintained. Poorly designed.

I am a subscriber. Website is much better. RobertParker is an embarrassment. Out-of-date info. Reviews don't fit on screen properly. Dates cut off. Considering that I pay around $100/year for access to their site and RobertParker, I think we deserve better.

Application user

Application has many glitches. Its main function "Search Wines" fails to yield results despite spelling the wine correctly and exactly how it is listed in their database. Robert Parker appears to be contributing proportionately less reviews himself. Customer Support is non-existent as they never respond to inquiries.

Weak Sauce

As noted by other reviewers - have to sign in every app is used, poor visual display of reviews and no ability to drill down to reviews from vintage charts.

Wine Spectator and Vinous Media apps are far superior in functionality and look/ feel.

Frankly - the main website has been lagging the competition for years but I put up with it due to the quality of the reviews.

This poor app release is another example of the Wine Advocates' inability to compete digitally and remain relevant.

Broken

I'm not a subscriber but I'm not sure if it's worth it. The demo version is completely broken and I haven't managed to read a single wine review on RobertParker and I try regularly. I really respect Robert Parker and hope they are able to get RobertParker fixed.

By

Complete fail

Incredulous that they could release an update that is totally non-functional. Canceling my website subscription...

By

Bugged

Latest update made RobertParker completely unusable. Top of the screen is truncated so that input for searching is totally unavailable.
