I have subscribed Frantastique Orthographe. I have been receiving revision over the last couple of lessons, may I please ask if I have finished all stories? Please help.

I used to really like this app! A little repetitive but different! I already had some French knowledge before downloading. I find that for absolute beginners may be a little hard. But it’s a cute app. I also find that it’s not an app where if you only use this you will become fluent. Not at all tbh it’s good to have on the side. Before I used to pay $15 and it was like 4 lessons a week I think. Now to get 5 it’s $80. And for two lessons a week its $12 for some lessons that are good but not wow. Might as well pay that for bussu and babble which are much better even Duolingo. I’m not sure what happened here but it’s way too expensive now. You can get a certification on bussu and learn modern words and practice and review better. I’m super disappointed because I enjoyed this app

This app is a scam. They are charging me 25$ every month and outright refuse to cancel my subscription. The app itself is so dumb and useless I can't even describe. For starters, as if this app was made in the 90s, you manually have to mark "I don't know"/"I don't remember" unlike much more powerful and effective apps like Duolingo. The interface is just a giant HTML form. There is no feedback on your learning or vocabulary. They just send you lessons and unlike advertised there is no science that will help you learn the language. Such a horrible and disappointing experience.

The app looks promising and obviously a lot of thoughts are put into developing it. Unfortunately I can’t afford to have $350 taken out of my bank account every year for an app 😣 While I understand it takes a lot of effort to maintain an app like this, there are alternatives (or a combination of apps that would be much more cost-effective). At least if it’s a reasonable one-time payment then I would reconsider. Some people even hesitate on Netflix’ subscriptions which cost about $10-$15/month and people LOVE binging their films. Personally for $350 I’d buy exercise books on which I can physically practice my writing or take local classes to work on my speaking skills.
I’m not complaining just for the sake of it or throwing a tantrum about the app not being “free” (some folks seriously do that 😂). I just want to offer an explanation on why some people including myself didn’t choose to subscribe after the 7-day trial. I’m sure there are folks can afford to. I know it might be a little disheartening to hear this as an developer but it’s nothing personal, just one take on the customers’ side. Please don’t take it to heart. Best of luck with your endeavors ☺️
