I paid $9.99 for the premium, and it doesn’t work at all. It won’t show the content, so I can’t create a custom quiz. Also, when I try to pick the amount of questions I want to review, the slider gets stuck on “5” and then the whole app freezes. Terrible app!!!
I reached out to the support team and didn’t get a response. It’s a faulty app. It won’t load the questions so basically it’s a waste to try and take a test because it isn’t going to load!
PocketPrepNCLEXRN is a complete waste of time and money. Paying for access doesn’t make enough of a difference in the content available to compensate for the unreasonable price. Not worth it at all!
Reaching out to the support team doesn’t help. They can’t seem to determine what the problem is and the best solution they gave me was do the quick questions and basically forget the fact that you paid for an app and was promised a question a day and the only time you get to actually answer it is after you complained for the day and they troubleshoot it smh. Never again will I purchase from this company. Choose wisely everyone.
I love the content and layout of PocketPrepNCLEXRN. But it is constantly crashing, freezing, and not loading. If I spend 25 dollars for 800 questions on an app I expect it to work flawlessly. I’m beginning to get angry.
I used the free trial for a while and loved it. Once I ran out of free “question of the day” I went ahead and paid the $13 for PocketPrepNCLEXRN and have found it to be disappointing. I have had several of the same questions over and over. If I’m going to pay $13 for an app I would expect to gain something from it and not be asked the same question repeatedly.
I paid for the premium with 900 questions but so many questions repeat, even ones I got right the first time. Seems like false advertising but overall satisfied with the test prep considering other options want recurring payments.
I’ve run across some answers that are wrong. I enjoy PocketPrepNCLEXRN for what is made for but I’m starting to feel like I can’t trust the content. This is my future I’m preparing for and would hate to waste my time and money on info that’s incorrect.
I bought the 900 questions, was expecting to have some SATA questions and simulations ..but it wasn’t available. I wish they could upgrade their app/ questions to meet the actual exam.
Awesome app to use when lugging around books or your laptop aren’t an option (before bed, on the train/bus, whenever you have an extra 10 min to spare). Love the customizable exams and progress check. only wish they had some SATA questions and it wouldn’t crash/restart so often and have duplicate questions. Definitely recommend buying the full version since the free version is kinda useless
I was struggle understanding concepts because English is my second language.
After I used PocketPrepNCLEXRN, my grades went up.
It would be great if you guys could make it so that we could specify what between Pharmacology, Adult Medical Surgical, Maternal Newborn, Nursing Care of Children, etc. That would allow us to focus on content area we struggle with versus the NCLEX general areas (those are helpful but content areas are more helpful).
Also some answers (one for sure) are wrong. I know this for certain based on my previous career. It makes you second guess other questions when things like this happen. I would give a 3.5/5 rating but because I can’t I’ll give the better rating of 4/5.
I used the EMT app to pass my boards and it was a lifesaver!! I hope this will help me pass my NCLEX too. Just a suggestion - you should be able to sort the questions via body system (ex. Cardio/pulmonary/renal/neuro) to focus study questions. I’m sad that isn’t an option :(
Its easy to do questions on the go with PocketPrepNCLEXRN. It’s pretty good but I don’t think it’s worth $25 to buy a premium subscription for PocketPrepNCLEXRN. The rationales are subpar and the questions treat themselves. You can’t choose what category of nursing you want to take questions from (peds, OB, med surg, etc). I recommend saving up for a better question bank.
Helps me in a daily basis to stay in line with answering questions
Well worth the price. Regular updates to optimize usability. Thanks
Great app! Great price! Thanks!
PocketPrepNCLEXRN is very thorough. It allows you to review all questions and rationales. Also it gives you a realistic view of readiness for the nclex...it really prepares you.
LOVE PocketPrepNCLEXRN! So happy I bought the full version to study on the go! The email the day before wishing me luck was such a unexpected, kind surprise. Very simple to use and helped me pass the NCLEX!
Keeps me on my toes... even though it’s just ten questions they make you pause and really think through. Feeling confident with my decision of downloading PocketPrepNCLEXRN.
This was extremely helpful in my passing the NCLEX-RN exam on my first try! So thankful for it!
