I love the Hail Recon app! It is HailRecon for Interactive Hail Maps so you must buy a subscription but it is totally worth it and gives way more information than the free Hail apps which is great if you’re in the storm restoration industry. I love that I can pull any hail date in my area based on a specific address or broad area. Their data base goes back to 2011 also. Being able to use Hail recon for canvassing and tracking my salesmen’s progress. Customer service is great too, everyone is very helpful and friendly and always answers the phone even after hours.

I recently received an email from Hail Recon that claimed they can give you names, phone numbers, and email addresses of any house you tap on in HailRecon.

Do not support this kind of information gathering.

Knowing names, fine that is public information you can request from local governments (though I doubt they did this).

Knowing phone numbers, this is actually not legal unless consent was given. But fine there are places where a company can subscribe to get this information in a sort of gray-market manner.

Knowing emails though, that is where I take issue. That information is not public knowledge. I’m not sure where they’re getting the information from but I for one don’t want mine so easily obtained.

The developer claims this is all publicly available information. My email address is not publicly available. At best he is scraping this from Facebook and LinkedIn at worst it’s a boldfaced lie.

HailRecon is great! Gives real time updates, and super easy to use! My only complaint is that ringer. It’s deafening... but I would imagine that I can change it, just haven’t figured out how. Lol and for all of those complaining about the “large” subscription cost, I’m not quite sure what you were expecting. THIS IS A BUSINESS TOOL, same as a ladder or a tool bag. If you use it correctly, it will pay for itself anyway.

There has to be a way to shut off the multiple daily hail percentage notifications. And other notifications that will never apply to me. I don’t care if there’s a 15% chance of hail in Texas. I’m in Ohio. This seems like a basic feature that I don’t understand why it’s not been implemented yet.

Sure you have to pay for the subscription but when you are making killer money because HailRecon is helping you weed out locations. Then HailRecon is a must...thank you and keep up the good work.

Great information on HailRecon , unusable. HailRecon crashes more than it works. Spend the money on a real app for your business. It is worth it, you will lose more money on HailRecon than it will make you

I was really struggling to find jobs but once I downloaded Hail Recon I was easily able to locate the storm damage!

Super user friendly and very accurate! Wouldn’t want to use any other service!

For what is free information anyway, The subscription is way overpriced.

They helped me so much. I don’t know what I would do with this easy to manage app. It’s great!

Just had hail here today and over the past few weeks. No indication on the map anywhere near me in Colorado. History shows only something 2006 and earlier

This is probably a cool app, but it seems that you need a subscription which costs hundreds of dollars. Unless I'm missing something, this is not for the everyday person.

LOL, apps like this con you in to buying hundreds of dollars subscription. There are better apps that actually provide the same hail data at no charge for roofing contractors and storm spotters.

App is near useless unless you pay over $600 a year for a subscription to the data set.

Ridiculous pricing!!!! They hide that info till you try to do something with HailRecon !!!!

Another bate and switch app DO NOT waste your time.

I can pay $400 monthly or $750 annual!!! Mike told me they have 1,000s of annual subscribers! I guess I will not be one of them.
