I bought this a long time ago and have been enjoying this but after the most recent upgrade or iOS upgrade, I am not able to import and save photos from/to the phone. Upgrading makes the app stop working

I upgraded and when I tried to add a new photo to filter it wouldn’t allow me to. I had to delete and re-download the app to upload a new picture and when I restored my purchase to stop seeing an ad every time I wanted to save something, it did the same thing.
