DocumentWriter is great when it come to dealing with files on your iPhone or iPad. It allows easy access to create as well as download PDF’s from various different sources such as Google Drive, Dropbox and a few other places! It’s very smooth and once downloaded you are even provided with a PDF help file to help you understand everything there is to know about the application. There are a few bugs here and there but nothing bad enough to knock off more then one star. I would highly recommend DocumentWriter to anyone who deals with files on a day to day basis. Another great feature is the scanner feature. You simply take a picture of a file or photo that you want to be scanned into DocumentWriter . Then you crop out all the edges and it snaps perfectly in just like any scanner would. It lines up all the edges perfectly! Even more do you could fax your files to other people as well. It’s the perfect tool for your office!

Update: the new update is even better than expected. As a student I use both PDF file and google documents almost constantly. Having an app like this where I can access and update everything in one spot is absolutely indispensable and has been crucial for maintaining my success both academically and professionally. It is very nice to have an app that makes the viewing of documents so easy when transferring from my PC to my iPhone. The on the go capabilities make it far superior to anything else I have tried. A must have for anyone!

DocumentWriter is amazing for students! One of my friends recommended it to me because I was really busy and needed to access documents from my phone. It is really helpful to be able to access and edit my google docs and edit them from my phone. It is also nice to have another backup, especially considering I had a jump drive crash and I almost lost everything. It is also really helpful that I can import from my Dropbox account so I can access all of my files. One of my favorite tools is the voice recorder. This allows me to keep verbal notes, which makes my life so much easier. It is really cool to be able to create spreadsheets on my phone , which was never even a possibility for me before. DocumentWriter runs very smoothly and is definitely worth the price. I am so glad I gave it a try. It has made my life as a student so much easier.

DocumentWriter is absolutely perfect for me! I can’t tell you enough how nice it is to be able to access all different kinds of files from one single app. No more purchasing different, sketchy apps in hope that they will work for your one type of file. DocumentWriter does it all! You are able to create and edit spreadsheets, scan PDF documents, fill and sign documents and send them right back. All on your iPad (or iPhone if you have this for that device). Another absolutely essential and perfect part of DocumentWriter is that you do NOT need to be online to access DocumentWriter and your documents! This means I can download and start working on a project prior to getting onto an airplane and I can continue working the whole flight. The customer support works absolutely great as well. I was confused how to access a file and they answered my questions in less than 5 minutes. I can’t tell you enough how perfect DocumentWriter is for me.

Seriously, if you want an all-in-one app that is reliable and easy to use, this is your app!

Update: after the latest update, I wanted to add to my review. I love that DocumentWriter is being continually worked on. Special attention is paid to the needs of people like me who are looking for the most convenient app on the market. Their zoom feature is a great example of this and by far my favorite.

I'm a writer who does a lot of work on the go. I've been looking for an app that lets me write what I need to and save it where I want to. I've been disappointed with the few apps I've found on the market. The first thing I noticed when opening DocumentWriter was the Dropbox option on the side right next to Google Drive. Within seconds DocumentWriter fulfilled my needs. Upon further exploration I found really intuitive editing, in-app templates, and cloud friendly functionality. DocumentWriter even makes giving presentations right from your device a pretty simple process.
The more I explore DocumentWriter the more satisfied I am. It's clear that the developer put a lot of thought and consideration into creating an app that just works.
I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Finally one app to access and manipulate multiple file types from multiple locations. As a software engineer it is always a hassle working through multiple apps (google drive, dropbox, etc) to collaborate on different projects, but this one app can access them both and more! The local drive has folder manipulation as well, extremely helpful for managing multiple files of drafts, notes, professional documents, and everything in between.

DocumentWriter can also work with more file types than I've seen in one document app. This is so helpful for being able to scribble notes into a drawing, make lists in plain text docs, or send out professional work in rich text or PDFs. Nothing is left out of the rich text editor for simplicity either, you can create complex diagrams and have access to as many fonts and options as you'd expect from a desktop application.

Highly recommended for working in documents on the go from a mobile device. Get work done during your commute or at lunch!

This is a great app with really useful features. First we have the getting started guide that is a file to help you get to know the tools available and where to find what in DocumentWriter . It’s a really colorful well designed with pictures file for people who have difficulties holding their attention when it’s plain text. The other thing I found really cool was the ability to open files from various platform like DROPBOX, BOX, GOOGLE DRIVE or the local drive. You have a tab for template as well. DocumentWriter is really fluid regarding regular use. I tried typing some text in it for work and it went smooth, and again you have multiple tools to help you design your files. There is a hidden menu that you can make constantly visible or just hide it when working on the go. At last DocumentWriter design or interface in itself was kind of rigid or not too modern but the overall experience was great. I recommend this for any use but mostly fun for business users who need a workplace on the go or want to work in a place or in an Uber.

Before using DocumentWriter I had a lot of trouble organizing and managing all of my files, especially on my iPad. As soon as I downloaded this it has helped exponentially! The ability to connect to Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive (although it was not working at the time), is phenomenal and helps with work so much. It is quite easy to navigate the home screen as it allows you to customize it the way you want, moving documents and such. There are tons of options to choose from when creating documents whether it be text documents, scanning pictures, or drawing inside DocumentWriter , which was my favorite part. I use this a lot on the go and it saves me SO MUCH time. The only downside of DocumentWriter is that the UI feels a little outdated and just looks “old.” If they could make everything look more modern with more vibrant colors it would be perfect! DocumentWriter is definitely worth the buy and I highly recommend trying it if you’re on the fence. 5/5 stars

My search was already over; I had been using DocumentWriter for the last year and a half. As I previously reviewed DocumentWriter combines so many rich features that could be solo apps themselves. Owning a web based business It has been essential to have DocumentWriter on the go to handle my word processing, document scanning, spreadsheets, and voice recorder capability. With the recent update, DocumentWriter is even more useful once again cementing this as my go to app. The updates have made DocumentWriter impossible to top. The improvements in the text editor make things easier than ever to type on mobile devices. The sign and send for PDF’s feature add instant credibility when sending files. Staying organized across platforms is a snap with the new drag and drop ability, I have been looking for a way to copy between Dropbox and Google Drive, and this is key. There also have been great improvements in the document scanner and PDF converter.
Do your self a favor…Check it out!

Update: its been long I have been using DocumentWriter..and totally happy with this. After the update its even better. Love the ZOOM and DRAG N DROP ability.
Its been couple of days I have been using DocumentWriter. Its quite user friendly. I found some great features , but still exploring. I really like that I can fill out or sign the pdf files. I can also download word or excel documents. And it can also transfer files from my computer to my phone. And it connects thru itunes. I did use another app like this but that uses bluetooth and i was never able to connect my phone thru bluetooth. I am happy that they have used the itunes to connect. And yes i can actually create my own document and convert to pdf...isnt that great. Document editing feature is good. Moving files to iphone/ipad has been always prob...but I guess DocumentWriter will help apple users a lot. There are more features... I need some time to explore. I am totally happy with this purchase.

Designed for mobile people, DocumentWriter allows you to stay connected to all your devices by syncing your cloud based storage apps with the document writer and opening up the documents for editing, converting, drawing, annotating and recording. DocumentWriter fulfills all needs when it comes to giving or receiving information and allows you to do it anywhere. It integrates with google drive and Dropbox and creates/edits any type of document on Mac or pc all from your phone or tablet. As I'm in and out of the office or the house a lot , I tend to forget other devices that I may have created a file on but with DocumentWriter I don't have the need to go get a specific device just to retrieve that file. I can upload it to a cloud network and always have it for sharing or editing in any environment. The document writer app is a true on the go filing cabinet and workstation.

Alright, here are my thoughts: First of all, I found the help PDF on the home page to be super helpful. To be honest, without it, I would have had a difficult time navigating DocumentWriter 's features. I love the fact that you can annotate, comment, and add signatures to documents and then send them to other people. (In today's world, it's easier to be able to do these types of things on-the-go from an iPhone or iPad.) I also like the fact that you have the option to either store documents directly on the device or in the cloud. The dozens of pre-built letter templates for both personal and business use are another neat feature. From marketing to business proposals to thank you notes, these templates alone justify the price of DocumentWriter .

Overall, I think this is a great app. The only thing I'm not overly ecstatic about is the design. The user interface does its job, but for a paid app, I expected more. Great app otherwise with awesome features.

DocumentWriter is exactly what I was looking for and more. It's easy to use and has a lot of really great features. I'm able to download any PDF from my Dropbox, and everything looked exactly how it should. Being able to draw on my PDF is a great feature. The drawing function really impressed me because there wasn't any delayed response as I was drawing. There was also a great variety functions for drawing, like being able to choose your pen thickness, or color, or even texture. Being able to take a picture and write notes on it was also very handy. Sometimes it's just easier to take a picture and circle what is important. The best thing about DocumentWriter is the fact that I can take it anywhere. I have a functioning office program in my purse at all times for any spur of the moment inspiration. I don't have to lug around a huge bag for my laptop and all it's accessories. Perfect for work, school, and competitive games tic tac toe.

DocumentWriter is amazing. The functionality of it for an iPhone is honestly shocking. You can do so many things from creating Rich Text Documents, creating Plain Text Documents, creating CSV Worksheets, creating Drawings, creating Voice Memos, Scanning Documents, Scanning Images, Transferring files through the WIFI, and so much more. DocumentWriter allows you to access Google Drive, Dropbox, and box right in DocumentWriter ! DocumentWriter has almost no limitations! There is also a very handy customer support button where someone will be able to answer any questions you have. Imagine being an on the go person, like me, and needing to write an essay in Word, well, with DocumentWriter, I can do that wherever I am and have other top quality tools to assist me in the process. DocumentWriter is worth every penny. Also, don’t let the price fool you, there are no hidden fees meaning once you buy DocumentWriter, that’s it! I highly recommend DocumentWriter for anyone.

DocumentWriter is perfect for everyone! The many features on DocumentWriter make it perfect for anything. You can access almost any file from DocumentWriter. Not only that but you can edit these files in DocumentWriter. You can create documents using their easy to learn interface, scan documents and turn them into a different file type, make drawings and then add them into your documents, make and edit spreadsheets, and my favorite part is that DocumentWriter is also connected to google drive and Dropbox!

With this all in one app I don't have to worry about transferring files from different apps. I would recommend DocumentWriter to everyone. If you have trouble learning things fast you don't have to worry because there is a super helpful guide which can help you. Also ontop of that there is also an amazing customer service option.

This is pretty much a one stop shop for all your writing needs! Incredibly easy to use and navigate and also the WiFi feature that allows you to transfer files between devices is a key feature others should take note of. As a college student the ability to take notes and insert pictures/diagrams and also be able to annotate on the document itself makes it a breeze to take notes. No more need to carry around a pen and paper when DocumentWriter will let you do everything from one text document. Did I mention the Dropbox integration?!? Yeah so any files my groups share I am able to open and edit wherever I am at as well as using their excel like feature for my statistics and math classes! Great product and I always recommend it to my classmates since it’s a one app does all thing that we can all use instead of having 12 different apps to try to finish one project! 10/10

This is a very nice app for students and professionals allowing you to make edit and save documents from word, PDF, PowerPoint and more. Also does rich text which is useful for me as I learn coding and web design. It also allows one to Crete hand written notes and drawings as well as scanning, annotating and converting documents to and from PDF. This was really helpful in class assignments and group papers. The apps also enables you to upload and sync your documents to google drive, Dropbox, or sugar sync for storage and easy transfer between devices smartphone tablet and computer. Lastly, DocumentWriter has built in planners and samples for easy document template and conversion for whatever use you need. Having an app like this where I can access and update everything is crucial to maintaining my success. As I'm very mobile and deliver documents fast and on demand in my nature of work academically and professionally.

DocumentWriter is easy to use if one takes the time to explore it. There are a lot of options that allow for customization from naming your files to deciding what appears on the home page. Make sure not to accidentally press the “back” button instead of the “undo” button (as I accidentally did while using the drawing feature) otherwise the file will not be saved. I am an artist as much as I am a student, so I noticed that the visual appeal of DocumentWriter could use an upgrade. I have no experience in designing a successful or popular app, but I have a lot experience in using them. Based on other popular apps, I’d recommend simplifying the logo of DocumentWriter and the icons within it to modernize its overall look. As a student, I was drawn to the versatility of DocumentWriter . I would say that DocumentWriter is very helpful for taking notes. It allows you to type and save notes, draw, record audio, and more.

I could not ask for anymore in an app! I purchased DocumentWriter after the latest update and have not found anything wrong with DocumentWriter yet. DocumentWriter does everything I expected/hoped for and much, much more. I have had DocumentWriter for a while now and still am finding new features and uses for DocumentWriter everyday. My favorite part of DocumentWriter is being able to to any form of word/pdf as well as being able to update to google drive, dropbox, and other sites as well. I also love that I can use this on planes because it has an "offline" mode that does not require internet.

This is by far the best app for micrsoft office document writing that is a one time payment (no montly subscription or anything similar). I would recommend this to any student, active worker, or anyone who frequently writes on microsft office and would like to integrate their iPad into their workplace.

DocumentWriter far exceeded my expectations for a document viewer and editor. I was blown away by the ease of access and functionality of DocumentWriter . I was able to integrate the cloud services I use regularly and access and edit all the files on the go. The editing features of DocumentWriter are by one of the best parts about it!

While out on business meetings or just simply on the go, I am able to keep track of, and edit my documents without the need of a laptop (my office is paperless, so editing documents without a laptop can be pretty challenging at times.) I love that I am able to download something from one cloud platform and then save it to another - I have a business Dropbox and a personal Google Drive, so the ability to save between them is awesome! All in all, DocumentWriter is truly one of a kind, and I highly recommend it for both business and personal users alike.

DocumentWriter has it all! Sign pdfs and other documents easily with one tap, upload your documents from virtually anywhere and annotate them easily. I like that you can create a document directly in DocumentWriter and save it as a pdf. You can also take a picture from your phone camera and convert it to a pdf –great for documents that need to be signed in person and uploaded/emailed.

This will be very helpful for signing and updating documents when I’m traveling for business. Often, I am at the airport or somewhere that is not convenient to pull out my laptop and edit or sign a document, DocumentWriter allows me to do that directly on my phone.

DocumentWriter is laid out very well, but does take a minute to get used to where everything is located and how to use it. I definitely recommend reading the Help guide that comes with DocumentWriter when you download it.
