I HATE HATE HATE HATE that there is no option to save the content you just spent what feels like forever constructing information about your business all just to not be saved and erased. This has happened to me multiple times and every time it gets me more and more upset. I love CaptionWriter for the exception of not having that. I would hate to delete it and try something else, so I’ll wait to see if there will be an update made to have the option of saving! I don’t want to be the person that attached a 5 star review with a comment that’s not necessary a positive or good one. I would love to put 5 stars, however; like i said, the countless times this has happened to me where all of my information I had written had been deleted has really hit a nerve. For now my review stands, I hope I can change it to a 5 star very very soon! Thanks.

I’ve been using CaptionWriter for about a month now and I’m really liking all of the features included within it. I can bold, italicize, change font & sizing and one of the best features is it’s perfect line-break spacing. It’s basically all you’ll need for a caption writer. What I don’t like is that they want a subscription fee. I completely understand that in the long haul, it must be good to have continued income from users. But they should also add one more option to BUYOUT at one-time price of $60-$70. I’ve paid this much for other apps and I just write it off as a business expense. But what I don’t want is a continuous charge for me to monitor over the years. As IG changes and adds more features, they may incorporate better caption writing options and that would place this as obsolete as users cancel their subscription. At least with a one-time payout, they would have made 2 years worth of income before that happens. Anyhow, that’s just my 2 cents. I like CaptionWriter . I recommend it. I still use it for the spacing and then use another Free app for the Font/Bold options. Good functionality though 😊

I finally found CaptionWriter that lets people change their font on iPhone for free! Use CaptionWriter if you already know how you want you captions. I use it combined with the Boards app (not a paid sponsor) to help already have comments, replies, and statements ready for my business and repeated stuff. It’s pretty cool and i would recommend the paid version as well since there’s no bugs and it gives you more features. Not necessary but it is still nice to have

CaptionWriter developer was super responsive, on top of the issue, and open to suggestions. He had the bug I was experiencing fixed within a week. CaptionWriter is performing way better now!!!

I was enjoying the free version until I kept getting pop ups to upgrade to the pro account. What made this even more annoying was that I couldn’t X out of the ad! It would not let me continue typing my post. I have to quit CaptionWriter TWICE in order to continue typing.

Also the free account should let you save at least 3 drafts. You have to constantly delete your draft once you’re done in order to start another.

Ignore those bad reviews! Developer is always responsive and quick to fix bugs and add features.

I use CaptionWriter to help with IG posts for my business and it has made it *so much easier*! My posts used to look messy and now everything is more tidy looking.

Developer is amazingly easy to contact regarding bugs and super responsive! I emailed about a crashing issue and I got an email response in less than 24 hours. He even fixed it!

Worth the extra money I spent for additional features. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. :-)

Very easy to use when writing up captions for posts! It’s great to have the formatting spaced just as I type it, perfect for fancier posts! There’s even an option to save multiple drafts and hashtags with the pro version, but CaptionWriter works fine whether free or pro! I use this for every post and I’m OBSESSED!

I absolutely love CaptionWriter!! I use it almost every day! Very easy and self explanatory! Just recently I had a technical problem and emailed caption writer. I was amazed how fast Mike (who created CaptionWriter ) responded to my questions!! He even recorded a little “how to” video for me and emailed it right to me!! Come to find out, the technical “problem” was not the Caption Writers fault, but was me not knowing how to operate CaptionWriter (that tells you everything about my technical skills!). Mike was so helpful and concerned, wanting to make sure everything was working well for me, which I have never seen with any other App! Thank you a ton Caption Writer!

I use CaptionWriter for captions for my personal IG & work IG accounts, and CaptionWriter is so helpful! It lets you format your captions WITH SPACES, and then copy and paste perfectly onto any social media platform. It also had a hashtag library, so you can choose which ones you need to add to your post while still in CaptionWriter .

Love CaptionWriter and it is definitely worth the yearly subscription price. It’s easy to use and works every time. The only recommendation I have is to have more fonts added. There’s a decent selection but even more options would be appreciated.

I was looking for an app that would help me format my Instagram captions and I finally found it! CaptionWriter transfers what I write exactly how I write it into IG. No more issues with spaces getting scrunched up after I publish a post. Also, I’ve never experienced any glitches with it. All that for free! Thank you for this!

I use this for my business IG and it makes life a lot easier! No more copying and pasting from my notes or having to retype allllllll over. It’s all a click of a button with CaptionWriter.
It also helps cuz it lets you know how many hashtags you can post. Also makes your IG pretty. I refer CaptionWriter alll the time!!

CaptionWriter has been a go-to for me the past two years. I’ve never had issues with it not posting correctly, which is especially important when I’m using it for business posts.

This is one of those rare apps that actually fixes the problem that you have, does it really well, and looks great and operates well while doing it. It somehow managed to turn the chore of hashtags into something enjoyable. I hate subscribing to apps so I hemmed and hard before this one, no regrets my time is well worth the money I spent on CaptionWriter.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this one deserves some recognition. Writing clean and well-spaced Instagram captions has always been such a tedious process. Most of the time I’ve had to resort to breaking up my paragraphs using a period in a blank line; something I’ve always hated the look of in the final post. I was recently recommended CaptionWriter and it works perfectly! Five out of five stars.

I struggled with making my posts for my dog rescue look organized and professional but all the tricks I read online never worked (insert this here and it’ll make a new line etc) they were a joke!
CaptionWriter makes my posts stand out and look like I know what I’m doing LOL!

Can’t explain how easy CaptionWriter makes running a social media account! I love that it offers the ability to change font, choose the spacing I prefer and then transfer it super easily into the caption on Instagram! Highly recommend if you’re looking to take your captions to the next level by adding structure and specialty fonts.

I started my own business and am not savvy with the gram at all. It was all super overwhelming and then my friend told me about how CaptionWriter saves lives, this is simply not an exaggeration. I’m not the most tech savvy lady and I always get overwhelmed when trying out new apps, thinking they will be difficult to learn how to use. CaptionWriter was super easy to use and quick to figure out - there’s basically no learning curve. Can you copy and paste? You’re good to go. It also auto-saves your text so you can start a caption, leave CaptionWriter , and come back to work on it later. Highly recommend.

Love CaptionWriter! It’s straight to the point in instruction of use and does exactly what I wanted it to - put spacing in between lines on Instagram posts and simply copy and pasted it into my IG. I like having a draft somewhere other than my notes (who wants to fill their notes with IG drafts!?) so I’m loving that it’s all in one place. Shows word count also which is a huge deal for me, not trying to waste time having to go back and edit when I thought it was done. 5 starts for sure

I’m a small business owner currently growing my social media presence and CaptionWriter has helped me a ton! Originally downloaded it to help with line breaks for my Instagram captions but it didn’t take long for me to purchase CaptionWriter for more features.

In addition to the line breaks, I love having the ability to save all of my captions, creating hashtag groups, and sync all of my captions and hashtags between my phone and computer.

It’d be SO USEFUL to see a character and hashtag count whole composing an Instagram caption. There's a 2200 character and 30 hashtag limit but Instagram will just post your photo anyway -- WITH NO CAPTION AT ALL -- if you go over this limit! This would be an incredibly useful feature to have in CaptionWriter. I'd gladly pay for that feature.

I’ve been on Google looking for ways to make my insta captions look like this & CaptionWriter is exactly what I didn’t even ask for & I love it!!! It keeps a word count for both the caption & the hashtags & you can even save groups of hashtags & apply them to other captions!! It’s awesome! I use CaptionWriter every day!!

Anyone who runs a biz online needs CaptionWriter! Makes your posts look professional. Super easy to use. And it’s nice to have a catalog of all your posts. Also customer service was worth the 5 star alone. I had a question and got a great response really fast.
