Fast Scanner : PDF Doc Scan Reviews

I have been working remotely for years and my conventional printer / scanner has always been a bit temperamental. FastScanner has allowed me to travel for both business and pleasure and have the ability to scan and email docs from anywhere. I’ve accepted offers on my house for sale while on vacation, scanned important docs while on the road starting up retail stores. I’ve used it for over 7 years. Even after getting a new printer/scanner, I still prefer this because it’s quicker and my docs are on my phone and can send from anywhere. Love it!

I have been using this app since 2018.
I have referred them to many of my Customers, Family and Friends. this app is perfect for those of you who use your phone to copy or send documents out like I do. I have access to two home printers, but I prefer to use this app.
I hope you will download the this app App. now to get started enjoying it as much as I have. Having this app should cutdown on you wasting money paying someone else to copy and send documents for you.

So, it’s a free app, nice to have the option to scan once in a while with the phone without buying the full subscription. If I need an app more often, I would likely upgrade the one I’ve been using already, right? But now that the election is getting tense, is there a reason to insist users endure political ads? It’s not even both sides, just one obvious political side. Why does fast scanner think they will persuade users over to one side by forcing a captive audience to watch their ads while waiting to scan a document? Seems like it’s meant to drive people to either choose to use their app or find another one where they can find advertisements that are actually and appealing to a broad base of types of users.

It was the first app for scanning that I downloaded, and it fulfilled all my needs. You can scan to PDF in black and white, grey scale or color. Options for other formats. Sending to email is easy if you use the Mail app, otherwise you have to save to the bookshelf and attach to another email that way.
I love it that you can correct the perspective. FastScanner identifies the shape of the page when you scan with a little angle to avoid glare or the shadow of the phone on the page. The corrections are great!

This is my favorite scanner! So quick and easy to use. I love its speed in processing. When copying photos I can keep them as jpegs or create pdfs. It did take me awhile to realize that after I saved the first scan I could add another scan from the camera or a file to the same file. Even after you close the file you can reopen and add more scans to that file. Very handy!
After 5 plus years of use I still prefer to use FastScanner!

Only issue is when you name the document, you are typing under text that will not clear out. Sometimes it is hard to see what you have named it. But for convenience working off the phone, it’s handy. Note, your recipient will see that you used “ this app”, so depending on where you work, remove before sending. Be on the lookout for a video advertisement; it’s loud and starts immediately after sending sometimes.

The below was never send to you but still positive on my end. (Old) I really appreciate FastScanner. I am still learning but it has been a very positive experience. Thank you. Wish a draft could be because I sometimes get into scanner and when attach to email and I think have already sent to bkkpr, I have to retype if find I had not sent to her.

Also, when type to whom and go to document, I can’t get back to To if I need to add someone.

FastScanner has been incredibly convenient and useful so many times. I’m amazed at the functions it provides for free and haven’t needed to upgrade but probably will just because I’d like to support the developers. So many apps promise but don’t deliver without bugs, annoying limits, or undesirable issues. This one just flat out works! I’ve recommended to many and think it’s worth having on your phone even if you think you may never need it. Trust me, one day you will!

Nice product, my teacher likes it, but I hate that if you are in the middle of taking a series of photos and you accidentally exit out or your phone turns off by accident, it will delete all the pictures you have already took. I also don't like that once you have already made a set of pictures and edited them that you can't just add another picture to them if you forgot to add it. And while editing the pictures after taking them, if you wanted to go back and edit them again you can't, you have to take all the pictures over again.

FastScanner is awesome. We used to take a lot of pictures(receipts and invoices), organize them and try to email them got very frustrating at times. This made everything so much simpler. Open FastScanner take the pictures, which it will even help straight out your picture so it’s not all weird and angled. Then it can put them all in one file and email them pdf format from FastScanner .

Everything works perfectly every time. Only thing I wish was there was the ability to retake photos. Sometimes once you're in the scan, you notice something wrong. Instead of having to retake all of the pictures, it'd be awesome to select one or more pages and be able to edit it individually. But again, great app. I recommend for anyone who doesn't have a scanner, but does have a smart phone.

My primary use for FastScanner is for sending wildland firefighting documents from the field back to the home office, usually while cell and internet coverage is limited. FastScanner has not let me down. The image transfer from photo to scanned document is legible, and as long as the finance people are happy, I’m happy! I’m technologically challenged, yet I’ve been able to set it up easily enough.

I love FastScanner. I was recommended FastScanner by a friend of mine 5 years ago and have been using on and off since then. It always saves me on the go, not only when I am short of time to actually scan tons of pages together, but also when I need to colour correct (as black and white) to some previously badly scanned documents.

Makes it the fastest one I’ve used, when I need to scan just one thing it has come in handy ! No credit card info needed no trial dates to end up losing money in the long run.. just fast and free scanning into pdf or jpeg. It does have certain things you have to pay for if you need those but otherwise great app that works ! Thank you!

We bought a house but our loan officer was on the other side of the state. We needed many documents scanned and sent to them. This is extremely easy to use to scan and send via different methods and modes. I have had to use it many times since then! I definitely recommend Fast Scan and will use it again and again!!

I love using FastScanner to scan and email documents. No longer do you have to run around looking for some place to scan your documents. It’s easy to use. I like that the forms are converted to PDF as well. They don’t look like pictures but actual documents being sent. I have recommended FastScanner to others for their scanning needs.

FastScanner is so awesome fast and easy and I’ve actually found it more useful than I would’ve ever thought. I used it once and after someone told me to use it for them and shortly after I’ve had so many things come up that I would have to use FastScanner for. It has saved me money and trips to printing places libraries ups and etc.I’ve been happy ever since !!!!

FastScanner works great for a freebie. Occasionally I need to delete order scans to get space for new ones, and the ads can be annoying when I am trying to do a job, but considering I am not paying anything, FastScanner is well worth those minor inconveniences. It is very convenient to have the ability to use my phone as a scanner.

I have gotten great results with items I have scanned, and it is pretty easy to use. I appreciate having different options to export the files, and the ability to name the files for easy reference.

The frequent requests to upgrade, and the many ads present in the free version, are somewhat irritating. But not enough that I would choose to stop using FastScanner 😉

I absolutely live FastScanner. Over the years I’ve learned how to be faster in my career and business tasks. Being in urgent care since 2004, everything needs to be done urgently - fast -fast -fast. Having FastScanner allows me to get tasks done even when I’m in the middle of a critical meeting when time is of the essence. My bosses have been baffled how quickly i get things done. This is an awesome app.

I was easily able to snap pics of my documents to store as PDFs. As I tried to email the docs to myself I ran into an issue ( my fault-I had recently deleted my mail app!). I emailed FastScanner owner on Saturday night and received a response in 5 minutes. He walked me through troubleshooting my problem by email. I am very happy with FastScanner and the follow up by FastScanner owner.

I have downloaded several scanner apps over the years, but this is the one I end up using. Simple intuitive interface for both scanning and output, with options for color, grayscale, and contrasty b&w. I don't scan frequently, so the intuitive interface is a big plus. Very good quality output as well. Recommended

My copier scanner everything all in one went down again! Thankfully I had this handy app on my phone a couple pics and I was back in business and as long as I email it or save it for later, costs nothing. But fax is cheap considering I don’t have to drive to the local fedex or grocery store.

I work from home and I needed a scanner that would be fast and easy to use. I downloaded several apps but once I found this one, I never looked again! this app is amazing and I use it daily! Thank you for making an app that is so clear and easy to use! No one can even tell that I didn’t use a traditional scanner!

I don’t scan documents too often, so this app is very helpful if you need to send something quick and easy. However, I needed to submit a document with color in it... I wasn’t able to see the “blue pen” signature clearly at all. Also it’s not easy to create document folders - I used my iPhone and the text field for writing titles etc were all jammed together. But again, grateful for finding this app.

FastScanner has been phenomenal, and a huge help to me, consistently, over the past several years.

Often times, when others hand information to me and I am not around a scanner/computer, FastScanner allows me to document all information quickly and professionally.

It converts files into PDFs and jpegs, so I no longer need to send images that look unprofessional. They look as if it was scanned through a regular machine!

All other apps I have tried have given me difficulties when trying to email the documents. This is the first app I have used that gives me no difficulties in emailing.

I love FastScanner- it makes scanning documents so easy wherever you are. I can scan right then and there rather than risk losing the notes/documents and then email to myself or others. FastScanner has made my life so much easier- can't say enough good things about it!

It is a convenient way to scan documents by simply taking a picture or a screenshot. It will crop almost automatically on most pictures and screenshots. If it doesn’t, simply use your fingers on the screen to move the crop in your desired boundaries.

I work in a public library and recommend FastScanner at least once a week to people who come in asking if we have a scanner. I’ve used it for several years now and have never had a problem with it. Very reliable and easy to use.

I would give it a 5 star but only got 4 almost every time I scan a document it wants me to buy into all the infomercials. I probably should have only gave it a 3 star and I would have if I just started using FastScanner . I’ve kinda got use to all the infomercials even though they are annoying.

It everything you, works beautifully. Only thing same screen pops up when uploading each time it is a little annoying. But to scan on the go or work or even at home. Great app, great price. Highly recommended.
