Music stops anytime I switch off Etree or my phone screen turns off for a power save.

It never used to do this. Otherwise Etree /music used to be phenomenal! Hopefully you can get this fixed soon.

Why for the love of god does Etree now shut down when my phone screen goes dark/sleeps! This issue renders Etree totally useless. Is there a work around for this or should I just give up now. Can I get my old version back?! I was in love with this thing- now it’s becoming something I avoid using for the reason mentioned above.

Deleting and reloading Etree does not fix this problem. But you lose all of your favorite tapes in the process so at least there’s that :/

App stops playing when you switch to something else, making it pretty much useless for playing in the background while working. Deleted and reinstalled and still the same issue. This should be a no-brainer feature.

Love Etree. But over the last year and be experienced a ton of problems. When trying to stream a show it either just hangs or if I’m listening to a show it shuts off when my iPhone XR goes back to the Home Screen or if I switch to a different app. You have to constantly restart your device. I’ve already confirmed this is not my device. Please fix this

Etree is wonderful. It's stable, intuitive and reliable. Now to make it perfect let's get it approved for Apple Carplay use!

Had to remove a star as now it crashes every time I try to download a show. And I have a ton of space.

Amazing app with access to ever expanding library of live music. Over 9000 Dead shows!
Problem - many shows appear with songs out of order. They play and appear in order if accessing the live music archive on a desktop browser but not in this mobile app. Listening to a live show in its original set list order is critical - please fix this and it will easily be a five star app.

I love this live music immensely!! But lately with the latest version it will crash once I’ve selected a a show and need to download it. Etree just disappears and I’m back to my iPhone 8 home screen. I’ve got about 14 shows downloaded.

Otherwise Etree truly Rocks!! I appreciate the team that brought us this compilation of live music, something I value so much more since this Spring!!

I love Etree and use it all the time. However, I haven’t been able to use it since the iOS 18 update. Could be unrelated, but I uninstalled, reinstalled, unplugged the universe and plugged it back in. All that. Might need an update. I don’t know.

Etree is fantastic. An easy way to navigate the archive. I have one small complaint. I wish you could create an account that would save your favorite artists and shows. I recently got a new phone and have to go through and save them all over again.

I have been loving this app mobile since I stumbled across it 4-5 years ago! Not sure what changed recently, but reviews don’t seem to be loading correctly. Not a deal breaker, but once in a while you get shown the light...

Maybe I didn’t notice before, (I doubt it) but there seems to be a cut between every song now...

Part 3.. Reviews aren’t loading correctly since the lates iOS update. I blame Apple. I’m certain this will be addressed. It was pretty quick last time this issue arose. 👍🏻

App is super cool. Streaming these shows like this is a gift. I’m giving only 4 stars because Etree crashes when I select a show to download. I was only able to get one show downloaded before it started doing that. Please update Etree with a solution, it would be perfect!

I have not been able to stream any music over the last couple days. I bring up a show / specific tune and it basically fast forwards through the setlist then goes blank. So I see all the shows just can’t listen to anything. Sadly.
I tried downloading Etree again to no avail.

Any recommendations?

This has been one of my favorite apps for several years now, but recently it has been crashing before Etree even opens. Very disappointing, as I much prefer this interface over other similar options. I really hope that a fix is in the works and the kinks can be worked out.

A couple of suggestions would add so much to a user like myself...

I travel for a living and use the download feature... being able to filter downloads and/or sort would be huge. Also, cannot seem to remove a download from my local list when desired. Those suggestions would enhance the use considerably.

That said, your efforts to mobilize access to the Archives is awesome... thank you for being so kind!!!

A recent update in Etree had a couple of flaws, but they were fixed right away... It’s working perfectly and it’s absolutely fantastic! Thanks to the developers who provide and maintain it!

Etree is so great for streaming LMA bands compared to what I have been using.
Is there any chance of adding the ability to access Community Audio recordings? I post about half my recordings to the CA section, and a lot of bands just don't take the time to set up an LMA page despite my pleas...

I love when I think “I wonder if someone’s made an app for that”, and one quick App Store search and BOOM! The full Live Music Archive right in my hands. Search & play is intuitive - A+!

Please please please please pleeeeease make it so it will play running in the background or after phone locks again. This is a bummer!

Many thanks to the developer, Dan, for taking the time build Etree. Sure, it’s a little buggy with how it will crash if you attempt to search for an artist using the icon at the bottom of the interface but the search tool at the top works fine (just be sure to type a band’s name verbatim, e.g. bands that start with “The” do require starting with The ____).

I am super grateful for having a convenient way to stream from this treasure trove of live music.
