Signed up for a digital sub. for guns and ammo as well as handguns. Got the login information for Guns and Ammo but nothing around handguns. The developer response to most questions seems to be to write to customer support. Well, if most people have to do that, the devs are doing a pretty bad job.

That and you don’t get to see how awful GunsAmmo experience is till you pay and get sent a link in your email. A link that doesn’t always work and needs multiple attempts. Finally, you don’t get access to older issues. I subscribed in the first week of December and have access to only the Jan issue. I can already guess what the crappy developer response is going to be. Stay away from this garbage.

The entire company is awful from the digital side. When subscribing never received the confirmation email they said I would receive for both Shooting Times and Guns & Ammo. This email was supposed to contain info for setting up access to digital subscriptions. Finally stumbled on the apps, and have had no success at all in viewing my subscriptions that I paid for. Just continue to receive error message that GunsAmmo is having server issues. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied and would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this subscription service. At this point it feels like this may be a scam service.

Want to know how not to design a magazine app? GunsAmmo is your cautionary tale. GunsAmmo gives you no way to know what issues you have read, what issues are new, or even which issues you have downloaded to your ipad. But wait there is more. GunsAmmo only gives you one option for deleting issues. Delete them all. No way to delete the issue you just finished reading without deleting all the others you may or may not have read. Sad to see such a horrible app for my favorite magazine.

Please fix GunsAmmo! I’ll wait one month for these issues to be resolved and if they aren’t I’ll have to cancel my subscription.

I paid for a digital subscription so I could read it on my iPad Pro. GunsAmmo crashes every time I try to open it. Just black screen and minimize, every time.
GunsAmmo works on my iPhone X but, it doesn’t make full use of the screen, it’s windowed and doesn’t do landscape. I can zoom to 1/8 screen or less to read, but that is just a few words at at time.
If they offer a digital subscription and make an app to view and download it they should support GunsAmmo ! This is mandatory! GunsAmmo needs support.
As an iPhone or iPad app it is useless to me, but they got my money and lost a subscriber.

GunsAmmo is ok. However, I was disappointed to learn that subscribing does not give you access to past issues. You’ll only get to read issues from the month you subscribe onward. If you want to read any past issues, they’ll cost you $5 each. I guess I should have known that, but I feel like it could have been mentioned. I was researching a particular gun and had I known, I probably would have just bought the issue I was looking for and passed on the subscription

Great magazine and great content. Navigation is very awkward. Please figure a different way to get to the menus. Currently any time the screen is touched briefly the screen moved down making reading difficult and shows the menu. Maybe consider a longer press or maybe some sort of downward motion to access the menus. Also, and this is a big one...PLEASE figure a way to have GunsAmmo RESUME where I left off reading instead of just starting at the cover screen. Super annoying.

I really don’t know what everyone is complaining about this is April 2018 GunsAmmo works great on my Ipad I’m getting even back issues, for the price I paid this is well worth the money can’t be more happy. Maybe you should try downloading GunsAmmo again after deleting it.

It seemed to always be the case about once a year that I had to contact the support area to get me back into GunsAmmo . Now it is more frequently than that and this last time despite trying to reset the password via GunsAmmo , despite reinstalling, despite having *already* reaching out to the digital support area *again* I’m still not able to get to my back magazines or the current issue. Getting back to me in 24 hours - yeah right...

I subscribed last week. I did have a problem with my subscription but it was very quickly resolved after emailing customer support. GunsAmmo works just fine on my iPhone 8 plus and iPad mini 2.

Don’t buy GunsAmmo. Been trying for 4days to connect to server. It will not connect. I can’t find a number to call. No response from my emails. I just got ripped off.

First app I've ever commented on because it's that bad. I bought the print and the digital version. Digital version is a total waste of money. Glad it was only $3. Not worth .03 cents. Great magazine. You think they could get someone to write a quality app to simply read a digital magazine. I've seen the other reviews with the company stating they'll contact you in 24 hours. Unless they do a total rewrite, they cannot fix it.

Log in again and you get the preview version of your subscription only. It worked only one time, and since no versions change the problem. Whoever is in charge of the digital apps needs to find another profession. The CEO, does this person not care either?
My subscription will not renew unless this is resolved.

Paid for a 1 year subscription through GunsAmmo thinking I would get digital access right away. Wrong. Turns out you have to wait 7-10 business days before they even see your order. Customer service said I then have to call back after 7 to 10 business days and inquire about how to log on digitally. Wow! Just wow. How utterly antiquated and inefficient.

I subscribe to many digital magazines and this is the worst app I have seen.
You can’t read offline and each page turn takes seconds to come up.
Come on guys! You may know guns but you are clueless on technology. There are lots of folks who know how to do this. Pay one of them to do it right.

Nothing but trash like Obama and Biden. Garbage app wont connect to server, and screen display will not flip on iPad when trying to sign. Tried to use browser instead but need account# from the mail hard copy. I suspect this publication is owned by Obama and team. Yes I just lost $12+ on digital subscription

I was a little nervous from the reviews, but a friend had recommended GunsAmmo . to me. I was not disappointed, so glad I went with the friends suggestion. Did not have problem signing up or signing into GunsAmmo . The images are so clear. I had a small problem with GunsAmmo . after a few months, but I emailed customer support and they helped me very quickly with some troubleshooting items to do. Love GunsAmmo.!!!!

Had to restore my purchases but now able to read on my iPhone! Love the content

GunsAmmo has always been problematic, when ever they update it you are locked out, you follow the instructions and still locked out. There are better gun magazines out there that you do NOT have to go through this crap every time!!!!!!!

Constantly get am error logging in about being unable to contact the server to log in. Obviously I am connected to the internet if I am writing this review.

Turns out that error means your password is being entered incorrectly.

Suppose to get free access to digital with paid subscription. Yeah right, you only get to read the digital content if you pay again for it. What a scam. Guns and ammo might have just lost a subscriber.

GunsAmmo serves its purpose, for you to be able to read the content. I have paper and digital subscription. Digital for those down boring times out and about. Just waiting for the iPhone X compatibility to fill the whole screen!

Doesn’t the Print Subscription allow for a Digital Edition?
