Handguns Magazine Reviews

I would like to understand why such a BAD customer support!!!! I'm a current subscriber but can't see the latest issue on the iPad. It's insane that I've sent 5 emails asking for support and I have not received a single reply.

Having the same issue on Handguns Magazine and Guns & Ammo magazine.

Please help or give me my money back!!!!!!

Still having the same issue... Even though I'm a current subscriber to Handfuns and Guns and Ammo magazines it's requiring to pay $4.99 for the lates issues on each magazine respectively.

After sending emails to the publisher for over a week with no response I decided to post a negative review. Right after the posting of the review I got an email from the publisher (Customer Service - Travis Daniels) apologizing and with some steps to fix the issue and if that didn't work he advice to contact iTunes support since they were to blame. After contacting iTunes support (Laura) she verified that I in fact am a current subscriber and that everything was fine on their side and that I needed to contact the publisher to fix the issue.

Now I'm back trying to contact the publisher unsuccessfully for almost a week!!!!

Honestly, it's shame that the customer service is this bad since both are great magazines!!!

I paid through iTunes and have yet to see a digital edition of the magazine. HandgunsMagazine is managed by intermediaoutdoors which allows you to subscribe through them directly or through iTunes. How intermedia knows if you paid through iTunes I don't know. All intermedia was able to determine was that I didn't pay them for the subscription. I've contacted both intermediaoutdoors and Hand Guns, but neither can resolve the issue. If you really want the magazine, get a paper copy - USPS has yet to screw up this bad.

Great to see this on the iPad. Great quality, too. I have had a similar problem of a magazine issue not completely downloading with this magazine and other magazines; mine turned out to be an iPad issue. Searched the internet and found lots pf people with the same problem.

Finally it's here!! But still new so as of right now I give it a 5 star until it gives me a reason otherwise!!

App not allowing complete issue download. Please fix!!!!!

When attempting read copies I get a password query every time. When I enter my password HandgunsMagazine goes to sleep for 5 minutes then comes back with “unable to contact server”.

Then, after multiple attempts the server grants access, but, when I attempt to read another article I get another password query. Yep, it starts timing out again.

Total crap of an app !

Will attempt to cancel, but, wait, I can’t! HandgunsMagazine won’t let me access my account, once again it times out on password.

IMHO, this magazine is useless through this crap app!

Can't get any of my paid yearly subscription for all mag subscriptions from this company that I've subscribed to for years including "shooting times", "guns and ammo", "handgun magazine", "rifle shooter magazine" and "in fish magazine" it's going on 3 months???? Don't buy until they make compatible with newest iOS....

Since IOS 8 I have not been able to restore previous purchases nor new issues. The same goes for the Guns & Ammo app. Those are the only two magazine apps I have with IOS 8 problems. I am requesting my subscriptions be canceled and a reimbursement for the remaining issues.

HandgunsMagazine opens and shows my issues as purchased, but I cannot download any of them. Previously downloaded issues are no longer local. App is unresponsive. Please fix!!! I don't have a hard copy subscription!

This was a great app until IOS 8 came along. I learned a big lesson here. DO NOT update your operating system until others have tested first. Apple should give everyone that owns HandgunsMagazine an extention to their subscription for free.

Shouldn't take this long to fix this problem especially since many people have paid subscriptions!

App no longer works after update. Sent 2 emails to vendor with no response. Why isn't iTunes getting involved?

Broke since ios8. I subscribe to 4 magazines from this company. All are broken. iTunes needs to provide a refund. This is ridiculous.

Latest Apple update and I cannot read the monthly releases or the additional ones I purchased. Fix it, please!!!

I was going to subscribe until the only option I had was continuous renewals. Need to fix that.

All these gun apps are the same. Just trying to get you to purchase the magazines. Someone needs to make a good app for gun enthusiasts.

Save your time and memory...this was put out before it was baked.

This is easily a 5 star app. Too bad it got borked in the upgrade.

Great magazine, please just fix the IOS 8 incompatibility!

I have digital subscriptions for Handguns Magazine, Guns & Ammo Magazine and Shooting Times Magazine and none of them are working since IOS8. I even patched with IOS8.02 and its still not working.

No problems so far with update. plenty of problems with the upgrade to iOS8, but i’m not pointing fingers at HandgunsMagazine. it appears to have been a newsstand or iOS 8 issue that caused some incompatibility with many newsstand apps. It’s working well and includes same great content.
