We've used it for genealogical research at the library - much easier than transcribing census records, and cheaper than making copies at the library.
I also use it when doing legal research at the library for catching snippets from case law or other references.
Only problem we’ve had was when trying to import large sets of images from the Photo Library, but importing 5-6 images at a time is generally fine.

Scan my document. Email it to myself as a PDF. Print it for my records...saves time walking to the copy machine. Love it.

So there you have it, simple to NEW. To the "group" and still checking things out! House er I will say theirs group does seem to have its connections rite on the $$$ so tô speak! Just wish I knew what I would so be spending as a novelist! You know someone that would only occasionally use the apps a few times a month to do some home office work etc...

As an office manager, I am always looking for new and exciting technology to have to make my hectic life easier! With Pocket Scanner Cloud, I have found the perfect app to do just that. Often times I'll be traveling with a very large amount of paperwork that needs to be scanned, emailed and faxed. With PocketScanner I can turn my phone or tablet into a mobile scanner and work straight from any place that I choose such as an airplane, taxi, hotel...etc. I love how I can easily scan documents into my device, crop and size how I want the scanned document to be presented as well as change the brightness and color variation. Pocket Scanner Cloud is very user-friendly and easy to understand with many available capabilities, more than an average plain scanner can provide. I highly recommend PocketScanner to anyone that is looking for their solution to scanning documents with ease while still staying organized and efficient. Great app!

I have used PocketScanner to catalog my finished college assignments, notes, pics of the blackboard, iPad screenshots, and photos, all as PDFs which can open in almost any program afterwards.
You can use PocketScanner to inventory favorite recipes, receipts, etc.

PocketScanner is nice but it could be better. It really needs image stabilization. I'm trying to take scans from a book, which means I have to hold the book open while I scan. It's impossible, and I've spent nearly 10 minutes trying to scan one page. It always turns out blurry. I'm just going to use my camera to take photos and convert them-- it would take less time at this point. Also, the shutter button is way, WAY too small. Half the time me trying to hit that itty bitty button is what causes the shakiness and blur! Finally, trying to crop images down is a nightmare without something to tell me when the "points" are straight. All my images crop crookedly. This could be useful, but it is not always needed. Other apps straighten the image after, so it looks professional. But not this one!

Finally it comes the faxing, I've been waiting for this quite a while. PocketScanner remains easy and simple as it was before, added a few more editing features, I even got free credits for faxing by participating the free trial!
