It only shows temperature options that it deems safe for service. The temps should just be color codes. Usually stopping in the 80s outdoor ambient temp. Which means, according to HVACRCheckCharge, I have to wait until August is over or a summer hail storm hits to get low enough temp to get charge information on a system.

Nice tool; I’ve used it for my personal and educational purposes.

The new version adds more refrigerants but you need to purchase access to use them. That is not mentioned in the description

I have loved HVACRCheckCharge since the moment I got to use it but..... Some days it works, some days it doesn’t??? Once I have selected my refrigerant it doesn’t let me put the pressures in. I have to keep deleting and downloading, this only fixes the issues for a day or so then I start the process all over again, please fix the bug

Not sure about HVACRCheckCharge I'm not open to the idea of having my clients information emails and phone contacts and addresses collected from your device by another company which is what the user agreement says you need to agree to those terms to use HVACRCheckCharge . Possible I miss read it but still I'm not taking that chance

After using it a while you get used to it

From the first time I opened HVACRCheckCharge, I have loved it, on my iPhone, in my iPad nothing else will do. It has never let me down, easy to read, three this you’ll see add, remove and correct charge. Those 3 things will never change, and neither will I.

On some jobs the label is to far gone to read so I use HVACRCheckCharge love it can’t work with out it now

Been using HVACRCheckCharge to get the perfect charge for r410a and r22 for 5 years now absolutely love HVACRCheckCharge and will definitely have all my technicians use HVACRCheckCharge for more years to come

It’s best used for superheat
Sub cooling is always 10degrees on systems in Ohio so I don’t use it for sub cooling

Been in the HVAC industry for several years now. Learned of HVACRCheckCharge several months ago. It’s great to have especially when the manufacturer doesn’t provide any pressure/temp/superheat/subcooling charts on the equipment.

I used this to have a good idea of refrigerant pressures and where they should be. Just a great tool to double check the readings we get out in the field.

This is my go to App when setting up or troubleshooting a Hvac . It is easy to use and accurate. Highly recommended

App works and runs great! Really nice way to show and educate customers about correct refrigerant charge via the graph. HVACRCheckCharge is a must for running early spring maintenances and make sure you’ve got the perfect charge in a system.

I work on many different refrigerants I constantly forget the sat temp of the pressures. Very easy to just open HVACRCheckCharge click on the refrigerants and give myself a quick refresher!

I use the charging feature, especially superheat, to confirm my diagnostic suspicions. Tremendous help and helps take away doubt when making a case to supervisors and customers.

Nothing else at any price compares with this product. It should be considered a Standard. Quickly analyzes conditions and factors and presents a ‘red or green light ‘ conclusion for the Customer who can save the conditions for future comparative analysis. Can’t beat the value for everyone.

Many contractors may not have a digital thermometer/hygrometer. But the home owner has a thermostat show temp & humidity. You could add a 3 column fill in where you fill temp/humidity & wet bulb calculates. Or any 2 Calcs the third. Thanks

407c doesn't seem to be accurate on fixed orifice. Other than that it works well on R410A.
