by Dislike In-App Purchases

Tellagami used to be one of our favorites in school. Many of our teachers used it last year with students and were very pleased with it. It WAS great. Now it is useless!!! I agree with the disappointment from many users. I understand you want to make money, but the changes to features that were once offered in the free version to In-App Purchases make you look greedy. That's what I have told many of our teachers. In the future, don't offer something for free and then take it away. You should have left Tellagami features as they are in the free version and would have received more In-App purchases from current users. I will not use or promote Tellagami now. Tellagami does not deserve the 1star due to poor customer relation.

Tellagami won’t let you use it because it says “The developer needs to update Tellagami to work.” It blocks you from using it. When I got Tellagami I was like
“I love Tellagami” and then after i saw that it didn’t work with anything after iOS 11 i was like “ughhhhhhhh” I was very disappointed and mad at the developer of Tellagami! FIX IT! UPDATE IT NOW! And please update it we will all love you if you do! But still it says “ stay tuned/updated for more” and hmmmmm how long has it been hmmmmmm...... FOUR FRICKING YEARS NOW PLEASE UPDATE IT AND I WILL STOP GIVING HATE TOWARDS Tellagami AND I WILL BE GREATFUL. Thank you!

Learned about this app in iPad for educators class two years ago loved it immediately but it's went downhill fast. Truly amazing possibilities. My 1st & 2nd graders were very successful BUT app glitches a lot. Went back and tried it with my kids but glitchy. "Alert Whoops. There was an error. Please try again." And "analyzing voice" with the dreaded circle of death. The $ is a killer.
Fix glitches and at least reduce cost and this app is a top 10 app. But now I'm looking for an alternative.

I hadn't used Tellagami for about a year. When I last used it, all features were unlocked. I was able to create a character that looked like me. When I opened Tellagami today to create a new introduction to a presentation, all features were locked except eye color and skin color. I tried restoring and was given the message that features were unlocked. Not true! Then I was asked to unlock them for $1.99. No thanks! Not worth it because there are newer, better options.

Tellagami is no longer any good. Took away all the freebies. Doesn't save. It has become junk. Want to make money? Keep the freebies free and create new looks and clothing to charge a one time fee. Don't take away. Makes you look greedy. I told my students about it and right as I started to use it for a project, I realized it has been changed. Frankly, I am getting rid of it because it is now more trouble than beneficial to me. Maybe someone will come up with another app similar to this which will be well-made and not jerked out from under us.

These developers don't care about what you have to struggle with. School,work,college,etc. All they care about is money. Tellagami used to be 5 stars. Also they force you to update which is a rip off. Tellagami is junk. Don't waste your time. Just go on your computer and use GoAnimate, it has much better software, and guess what the voice feature is free.

When I first downloaded Tellagami and began to use it, I LOVED it! I used it to make fun and engaging tutorials for my classroom. However, after only one week of use, it crashed every time I opened it. I deleted Tellagami and reinstalled it, but now I cannot restore the in-app purchases I've made. When I click on the locked items it doesn't even give me an option to repurchase. Also, Tellagami has never successfully emailed the video. I'm frustrated because I love Tellagami - but can't even use it anymore. One more thing- it's frustrating each time you create a this app it is deleted, so you can't go back and edit- it's just gone.

I am disappointed that all of the customizations that used to be available on the free version of Tellagami are now in-app purchases. It really limits the use of Tellagami. Especially disappointed that the default male clothes include a suit jacket. I realize that you want people to purchase the EDU version, but with tight budgets in schools that isn’t always possible.

No like Tellagami but i think it should have better features. Such as text. I think you should be able to write the text and then pick your voice. Also, I think the happy should seem a little more.... HAPPY! Other than that I really like Tellagami. One more thing. I think you should be able to get to pick the size of your brush because what if your trying to do something small, you can't because the darn thing doesn't let you!!!!!

Great! Tellagami has been around a while, but no addition of clothing, or shoes, what a bummer. Three changes that haven't been updated in three years, pity. After using Tellagami a few times, it's boring with same outfits. I've deleted this and come back several times and nothing new. I won't bother again, since you developers don't give a crap. Caio

I love using Tellagami in my classroom. I like to have the students' create presentations with it. However, there is no way to save the gami's other than to email it or text it to yourself! I need a way to find the ones I've made in Tellagami without having to leave Tellagami ! There needs to be like a gallery or something where your saved ones go.

I found out about Tellagami because of an in-service day at school. I love it, but find that the free version has too little to offer. I used it to introduce a power point presentation with a pic of my classroom in the background, pretty cool and different. But, how much can I do with only 30 secs of voice?!

Ok. Seriously? I don't know why people are complaining about not having enough " accessories" or something. Just have fun with Tellagami! Teachers, stop saying that they are "tricking you into buying in-app purchases". DONT BUY THE IN-APP PURCHASES THEN!!!

I love Telligami. Great app. Don't change it. 💚

I purchased the extra voices with the text option and it mispronounces a lot of the words and some of the voices you can't even understand. Not worth it. I want my money back. The rest of it is decent for simple school projects and I like you can add your own backgrounds from photo library. Would be nice to have more character options as well as add other characters to the story.

I teach online classes, and thus is a nifty tool for making brief explanations for minor details. They aren't long enough if I really want to teach a concept, but I use them to clarify or elaborate on specific points. My university students take the time to watch them, so I suppose they must like them!

I use Tellagami A LOT! I wish it had the ability to open Gamis for editing/updating but I can live with it. As a simple to operate app for creating engaging 3D visuals/animation it ROCKS!

The bad news.. launching it yesterday I was greeted by a message that " Tellagami will not operate in the next version of iOS. Contact the developer and.."

This is bad. Please update Tellagami .

I love Tellagami! Incredibly easy to use and you can use your own photos for backgrounds. I use Tellagami to create birthday wishes for family members, holiday wishes for family members, and I use it in the classes I teach for posting announcements and special messages to my students (I teach at a university) I love this

I upgrade to the type to voice. I typed a message for my answering machine message in a different accent which I also upgraded to and I recorded that file to my voice mail. So cool. I also love to record messages and send them to family. Only wish there were more styles of avatars, to customize more, more variations in voices would also be cool.

I really liked Tellagami. I often used Tellagami to send gifts and statements to my parents telling them that I love them, and so forth. I think this isn't so bad or useless after all. It's fun, cool, and incredible. Trust me. You'll all like this app.

I have a phone full of apps. Just got this one. It is by far the cutest app I've ever had. Instead of texting my daughter all the time, I'm gonna record my voice and teligami her with different new pics. I LOVE IT!!
