I see my review from wayyy back is still on the poster for this game to sucker in players. While in some ways this is still one of the closest to the original 8 pages game, in terms of graphics and such, the game desperately needs to return to its roots with earlier versions. The sheer number of ads that bombard the player takes away from the excitement, and its annoying how often they pop up on both the menu and everytime the player dies it asks if youd like to see an ad to continue. The life bar at the top is another thing that needs to go. Part of the fear factor in playing this is in not knowing when or if slenderman would get you. The depletion of the bar is a giveaway that your about to die and coupled with the fact that slenderman makes you look at him, its also cheap. Keep the face cam and everyplay record and share features however. Its cool to be able to let others see your replays. The new levels are good add ons as well. While i can take or leave the slender coin feature, some of the features you can get with them (night vision additional levels and a page finder) are cool. Keep these but do away with continues. In short, Return this game to being more like past versions from 4 or so years ago and perhaps keep the share features. Its annoying as hell to play as is.

So... what makes good horror games? The answer is kind of complicated, and since this is really a simple game I will shorten the list. First off: atmosphere! The dark forest and sounds really set off a good place to die. Humans are social beings, and being alone is one of our major weaknesses, and Slender takes advantage of that. While this game is really difficult it is possible. The more pages you collect, the more aggresive Slender gets, following right behind your every step. Tension is also a big factor: you see the page, and get a rush of elation. But you see a gaunt face peeking out of the trees. Just the fact that you have to get the pages, but Slender might already be their makes it kinda creepy.

While the game to play is not very scary (the enclosed ones like warehouse are creepier because sometimes you have to turn around and Slender might be there) sometimes it really gets your heart pounding. For me, the scariest part is whenever you are home in the dark, you remember this game, and don't want to move.

However, it is much like Slender on the PC. The controls can be a little iffy at times, but it adds to the 'oh god' element of horror.

SlenderMan SlenderMan blends in well within the trees SlenderMan SlenderMan in the fog he’s hard to see SlenderMan SlenderMan dressed in darkest suit and tie SlenderMan SlenderMan you most certainly will die.

I mean, it's a decent game and all but it's all commercial. Energy runs out (just from walking, not even seeing slenderman so it's inevitable) unless you _buy_ more, you can only get so far until you get caught (even if you weren't even looking at slenderman) and can only continue if you watch an ad, which isn't that bad but the worst is immediately when you open SlenderMansForest , it floods with ads that you accidentally tap as a result of them appearing right before you're about to press the level! And then after you go out of the AppStore that it took you too another add pops up because apparently they can't have a game unless it's flooded with ways to make extra money. Deleted and forgotten. Sorry not sorry.

This slender game is awesome!! But it has a few downsides. For example, you will find a page and then the slenderman goes complete buzurk on you making it impossible! And then if slenderman is far away, but you can see him it doesn't get you, which I believe is a bug in the game. Also if you are walking forward and he is behind you, then it will force your player to look at him, and won't let you look away. Otherwise the game is AMAZING!!!! But I do hope that what I have explained gets fixed. Thanks for reading!!

I really like this game! The controls are smooth, the graphics are amazing, and I really like how you can change how bright your flashlight is. If you’re thinking about getting this- don’t wait! It’s the best Slender man game out there! I love how most of the time you see him is when you turn a corner and see him in the distance and your screen glitches (not really- just for the game) and then you start running and you hear the slow footsteps behind you...

So, at first, I was legitimately scared. The creepy music, the flashlight being so ineffective, and when I approached the old truck, I looked back to see if I was being followed. There was Slendy, about 20 feet away, looking dead at me (at least I thought he was, it’s hard to tell without the face) and my energy started to drain. Then, I was freaked out. Me, not knowing what to do, kept frantically looking at him desperate to find a way to escape. So, I died. There was the death scene, with Slenderman all up in your face with the camera going static. That scared me. When I played again, it lost all of the creepy-ness. I suggest this game to scare your friends at parties, as it gets your adrenaline pumping, but only the first time.

I used to play Slender Man's Forest on an iPad Mini when I was younger, but now after re downloading this game after years, I can't even get 3 seconds into the loading screen before it just shuts off. I've tried to re download the game and that doesn't fix it either. It's a shame this is happening because this game was my childhood and I can't even revisit my memories :/ Hopefully this will get fixed though, because I want to experience this game again.

I love the energy system, and especially the shop, and slender coins. The gameplay is good, and creepy. On the later pages he teleports right in front of you though. This is dumb, and unfair. You can also survive forever with the ads. Make it so that you can only watch one ad each game.

I remember when this game got deleted off the AppStore, which was very sad. I struggled to find a decent horror game on mobile for years. The AppStore has just become nothing but cheap, crappy recycled garbage over the years. Now that this game has returned, I think I can finally take mobile gaming seriously again.

This game does have some advertisements and also pulls the player to look at the slender man when he's near which is kinda aggravating but still... I still think it's a decent and fun game to play when bored and it's not that bad in my opinion. I love hearing the footsteps of the player and even if it's not the original it's still close to it! It's a decent free game! I love slender man!

This is a really good game and I play it a lot. As I said I love
This game but I have some ideas for future updates: 1: a sewer
Map 2: a online mod were 1: person could be slender man
and the rest could be survivors 3: if you make an online mod then
It would be cool if you added skins for players and Slendy. And those are all my ideas

When I first got this game I thought it was like the rest. A stupid knock off of the original Slenderman that was only a demo. But when I started playing the game came alive and I felt as if I were actually in the woods collecting pages. This is a phenomenal game and I hope that you can make more.

Hard to look around- way too sensitive. Anyway, I walked around a few seconds, found a page (couldn’t really see it because the look around feature is way too sensitive) and some static happened and it said I lost. Tried it again- same thing. Found a page, static happened and it said I lost. I never saw the SlenderMan either time. Not sure if this is a glitch or if the game is just that simple. Find a page and static and lose without ever seeing the villain?

I've been playing this game for years and have got to say it's very fun and scary but u can glitch out of some maps and also my game will glitch to the point that I can walk up to slender and say was poppin jimbo without being killed

This game is fun and a little scary. You get to walk around the woods and collect 8 pages and try to survive Slender Man. It's a little hard to control on my iPad though. But this game is okay for older ages. Kids under the age of 8 might get scared depending on how easy they get scared. Hope this review helps :P bye

I like this game! But it most be creppy and whatever it was then it just slenderman ok so. However if it take for slenderman to bring it back like 8 pages of games I mean that is just great. Some most are scary,terrible,or strange ok sometime slenderman kind of scary. Anyway it pretty cool! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I love this game so much! There are just a few problems that i have:
1. In the forest it is way too dark even with the flashlight
2. Too many ads!
3. When he is behind you it makes you look at him even if you didnt want to turn around

I’ve been a fan of Slender since it first came out. This game is pretty close to the original by Parsec Productions, but lacks in so many ways. The controls are seriously laggy and slow, the player moves slower than molasses in winter and I could do without the ads. Also an important notice, the facecam is no longer available, so you can record yourself but you won’t see the video.
