I hope that somebody can help me with this. I have been using QuickDrafts for many years and about 1 week ago while trying to open it up, I got the following message βQuick Draftsβ Needs to be Updated. The developer of QuickDrafts needs to update it to work with this version of IOS. I tried to get app support but no luck. I am unable to access the material that I have saved in QuickDrafts. Please developer update QuickDrafts so that I may get my material! I would be so grateful - thank you!

This version on iPad is ugly but I was willing to overlook that, initially when QuickDrafts seemed to deliver what it promised. It doesn't.
In principal and even upon first use, QuickDrafts seems great - until I tried to do more than type and use the features it claims to have. If this app worked as advertised, imho, it would be great but as said, it doesn't.
Typing works well. It opens quickly to a blank page, shows word count (a personal like for me) and responds well. Linking was easy. Dropbox and Evernote confirmed linked successfully. So far so good. Then it's all downhill.
1) Send to Evernote error "could not post to Evernote" (with no explanation)
2) Open in (substitute any app here) give no response. Did QuickDrafts freeze? I hit "cancel" and was taken back to QuickDrafts . I tried again with same result.
3) Send via Email also does nothing. It opens a blank page pre filled with my email address and that's it. No text in the email body or attached. I hit "send" anyway, just to test, nothing happens. I waited, still nothing.
What a shame. If this app is great in theory but then I've got a great theory for world peace.

I use QuickDrafts all the time and had no problems before the last major overhaul. Now, suddenly, QuickDrafts is unbelievably buggy. For example: after opening an existing note and trying to tap in the middle of the page to add text, it immediately scrolls all the way to the bottom. This sometimes happens repeatedly before I can get the cursor where I want it. It just keeps assuming I want the cursor at the bottom, no matter where I tap. Also, when writing a to-do list, text longer than one line will not display. Another irritating development is the "Make To-Do" button. If you have an existing note and accidentally click "Make To-Do," the list automatically converts to a to-do checklist with bubbles at the start of each line. That's not a big deal, because you can change it back, right? But when you try to hit the button again and convert it back, it doesn't exactly convert back -- now you have dashes (hyphens) at the start of each line. Please fix these small but very annoying new quirks!!! I used to love QuickDrafts, but it has so many glitches now that it's hardly worth using.

I have a prior version of this that worked fine until iOS 14.5. It no longer works and I have no way of retrieving my notes. No way to contact support. When tapping on the icon to start the program, a message shows up saying that the developers need to update the program to work with this version of iOS.

When writing a long paragraph that expands several screen lengths, tapping on the last sentence brings up the keyboard and the cursor changes place. The cursor should be where I tapped but instead it's several lines above.
In order to go to the last line, I have to hold the cursor and drag it down to scroll.

Wonderfully constructed. Clean, simple, elegant and intuitive. QuickDrafts is a joy to use, from the moment you open the interface, it's performing leagues beyond any note-taking app available, even Apple's own built in Notes app. You're doing yourself a disservice by not having QuickDrafts.

I love QuickDrafts and uses it constantly to write down thoughts, take notes in meetings, copy/paste
Texts from other sources or to send something to my email.
I just wish the contents can be backed up in the cloud. My iPhone crashed the other day and I was able to restore everything (pics, emails, messages apps, including QD). However, I lost all the notes, important information I had on QD). I was really frustrated over the fact that I was not able to restore my notes. Otherwise, I would have given QD a 5 star.
Tech Dept. - please work on that :).

I can't function anymore without QuickDrafts. A busy professional, mom, wife and terminally ill I rely on it to keep me in touch and on track. The Evernote connection sealed the deal for me professionally and the messaging/email marriage into the iPhone interface and contacts sealed the deal on the personal side.

Fast launch up, clean and simple interface, easy to use. This is the greatest note app ever! But two suggestions: first if there are more fonts that will be awesome! Second the medium font is kind too large and the small is kind way too small. Make the medium font a bit smaller would be great!

My favorite note taking app ever! Finally a not taking app that let's me decide it's final destination. I have always wanted a note taking app to give me the options that Quick Drafts gives once the notes or ideas are jotted down. Thank you for creating this, it's a time saver for sure!

I have been using QuickDrafts since years - donβt recall actual year. Itβs a cute small drafting app for me. But is quite useful. I have almost become addicted to it while using very often every day. I tried various others but none could beat its simplicity & usefulness.

QuickDrafts is example of the genius of simplicity. I didn't think I needed yet another notepad, checklist, nor messenger to Evernote. But QD is all of these and does the best job. It offers a blank page each time you call upon it, ready to capture the thought or idea (that will quickly fade and be lost altogether if you must spend time navigating to the right spot in order to begin capturing it). And yet it preserves any note you took before, careful not to overwrite anything. Then, if you start to see this thought is becoming a bullet list, no problem: just touch an arrow button to change it into a bullet list, or even a checklist. You can also use this button (same button = simplicity) to lead to all other options for sharing with others or with yourself for compiling with other ideas or for follow up/later use. I can put away my other notepad, checklist, messenger apps now. I only use this one. It's on my iPhone's home screen next to "Shazam" because I use it in the same way. I capture the title of a song I'm hearing before it's over, and I use QD to capture a notion before it fades from my consciousness. Simple. Useful. Elegant.

The past few updates really add to the convenience of QuickDrafts. I've tried competitive apps and found Quick Drafts to be a better fit me. The new UI coupled with the abilities to view all your notes on one page, make tasks lists, and export your notes to other apps makes Quick Drafts a winner.

This is my favorite notes app! I'm a writer so I demand a lot from a notes app and Quick Drafts does everything I want it to do. I love that there is a blank note ready to go when you open QuickDrafts , that the notes have titles, and that the notes can be so many things (checklist etc) It's all so easy and intuitive. It's a very nice looking app too.

I have tried other apps claiming to be the same or similar & not one has delivered as far as simplicity & total ease of use. The other apps require making & naming lists, categories, etc. With Quick Draft, what you read is what you get. Open QuickDrafts & text what's on your mind. Figure out the details later...Just as promised in app description. QD IS AWESOME!!!

This is my go-to note taking app. Evernote is great for reference but is slow and several clicks to open a new note. Quick Drafts opens in a flash with a brand new note, which I can then export if I want to Evernote or email. If you want to be able to take notes as fast as you could write on a post-it, get QuickDrafts!

There is a problem concerning navigation through the text. QuickDrafts is ok for typing several phases, but as soon as your text becomes longer than the screen you can hardly get to the end of it. If you tap at the point you want to edit, the keyboard pops out and throws the cursor somewhere else in the text, so you have to fight against the keyboard.

This how all my notes are dictated no matter where they're going. Simple quick and accurate. A couple of suggestions: 1. Too many choices to send note. I would like to list only the ones I use and set one as default. 2. It is a lot more efficient to press + key when you want a new note than to search for the one you were working on every time you load QuickDrafts.

A friend of mind recommended QuickDrafts to me. I love how elegant and simple it is to use. There are many options of what you can do with the notes. It is a must have app. The only thing I would think it would make QuickDrafts even better is to be able to customize colors, have background pics and fun design for the notes. But overall, it is simple yet full of options and best of all, it is FREE!!! π

I have used the iphone version for a long time now and love it. Now I have the ipad version too. I wrote the developer about the difficulty on my ipad, where the icons at the bottom sometimes get in the way of my typing. I also mentioned if he would consider adding iCloud. He thought it was a very good idea and said he would try to address it in the next update. I hope so, because that would make this fantastic app spectacular!!
