Contact Timehop Support

Loved this app....until the last few weeks. Was dis one chef from my Facebook and since then I can’t log back in with my account. It automatically asks to connect as my husband with no option to switch to my account. No idea why it goes to him as he’s never logged into FB on my phone and does not have the Timehop app himself. I co reacted support...told me to log out and delete FB app and Timehop app. Log back into FB the reinstall TH...which I have done multiple times without success. Tried it with my cell phone number which didn’t work either. I’ve logged into FB from my laptop to make sure TH was still active. Finally tried it on my iPad and was able to connect with my FB. But no carryover when I tried again on my phone. Unfortunately I can’t go on my iPad every day to check. Lost my almost 1000 day streak because of this.

I’m a long time streak member of 1600 days. The new retro format is terrible, I have zero interest in it and now skip over it every day because it is so frustrating. The quiz is not challenging or fun and with no reference to the question when giving the answer from the previous day it is very unsatisfying. There used to be music and fun/shocking trivia that I looked forward to every day. Also since the update none of my videos load and the ability to click and see the post in the native application is gone. All bad things for this app. I miss the old Timehop and hope that the developers will spend some time addressing the concerns in the reviews because it used to be a great thing to open up each morning.

Timehop used to be one of my favorite apps. Now I’m experiencing 4 issues. The first one being that none of my memories from a year ago load anymore, unless they’re just pictures I took on my phone; no Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram won’t show those memories from a year ago, but have no issues with showing multiple years prior. I have removed apps from the connection of timehop and put them back in, in hopes of fixing the issue, but to no avail. The second issue, which I have seen reviews that everyone is experiencing, is the increase in ads. It makes the app interface a little tacky the way they’re placed, and sometimes can be a little tricky to just swipe pass them seamlessly. The third issue is that a lot of times when I would click on the memory to get redirected to the original source, when I would click back into Timehop, the whole thing resets from the beginning as if I had just opened the app anew. It’s very annoying, especially when I’m about 7-8 years’ worth of memories deep, only for the app to go back to the beginning as if I had just opened it. The 4th and final issue is the amount of notifications I get per day to check it. One notification is enough to send, and it’s super annoying when I’ve already checked it for the day and I get two more notifications telling me to check it before the day ends. Please fix these issues. This app used to be very useful, but the minor issues make it a bit tacky.
