Nice app, but it’s really annoying that it doesn’t automatically adjust the size of the scan to fit the size of the actual item scanned! For example, if you scan a receipt, it saves it as a full-size page with glaring white space on the left and right sides of the receipt instead of trimming the sides off so the saved document looks like the receipt. This is strange, because during the scan process, InstaPDF does recognize the edges of the receipt perfectly, but it doesn’t save it that way. Basically, it’s the same outcome as making a photocopy of something. Not at all what a scan app should do.

Might seem like a small issue until you browse through all your saved scans and they all look exactly the same in thumbnail view. So I guess it’s back to Scanner Pro for me. Too bad!

I am unable to sign in to my account because I forgot my password and there is no option to retrieve it or make a new one

I gave this a less than perfect score mostly because of the awkwardness in cropping. I love the fact that it CAN crop and straighten images – that’s great. But the auto crop misses the exact edges just enough to be annoying and it has a huge problem recognizing the rectangle when it is three sided, such as a page in an open book. Likewise the manual cropping is a great feature but it is difficult and slow to use with a finger tip on an iPhone. That’s it. That’s all I have to complain about. This is still a hugely useful app.

I have been using this app since it was launched. It provides a rapid workflow and instant access on my mobile device and desktop. The only changes I’d want are: make it easier to add pages to an existing document, and provide password protection capabilities for sensitive documents.

Not sure how I lived without it as a salesperson. It’s like completing my portable office being able to scan things legibly..life saver is all I can say !! Thank you

No need to be an expert to keep documents.

Easy to use and realigns crooked shots to have correct page alignment. Very useful!

Great user interface and experience. I loved that it didn't blast me with ads and that InstaPDF feels very intuitive.

This has improve my way capturing clients documents and emailing them to my govt account to assist with services for them.

I use regularly from my iPhone. So much easier to scan in and create PDF doc then using PC. Convenience, speed, and efficiency makes InstaPDF special!

My iPhone and InstaPDF makes a great pocket scanner. Ready at all times to get the job done. Fast clear works as good as a big scanner. If the fill in form and sign function worked as well as the Adobe Fill and sign free app. then this free this app scan app would be awesome. But the Adobe scanner is slow and hard to use. Also this app Free and secure storage is hard to beat. I recommend InstaPDF often to others.

Quick and easy to use. Occasionally have to rescan because of a fuzzy cloud appears, but I just adjust the paper in the light

InstaPDF does a great job of capturing a document in pdf and is easy to use. And it doesn’t lay an advertisement watermark on saved documents like most free pdf apps. I have used it for 3 years and have no complaints.

Their upgrades have been fantastic. I just scanned a 14 page document in less than a minute

My printer isn’t working currently. I found InstaPDF and I am so glad that I did. I was able to scan a document precisely with InstaPDF and send a PDF file just as I would have done with my printer. Thank you this app!! You are great!!

The only suggestion I would like to make is if I had PDFs from another app and I wanted to migrate them over, an “import” function- just so I can have everything in one place and stop using the other scanning app.

I literally forgot the password I did for the encryption and now it will not let me open any of the files can you please help me with that so now documents I scanned in I can’t forward them without putting the password help !!! Because the login password is not the same it’s not letting me do anything .

Use it all the time. So helpful! Easy to use.
