MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp does not work as well as older versions. Functionality: sometimes I need to delete and re-download MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp as it freezes. Also, when it does work, frequently ads cover key function buttons.
Features: for hockey, it is inadequate. Other apps show more than goals, assists, +|- and saves. Other stats available include shots and blocked shots. Score update from other games rarely show conference teams.
If there was any other app available for following Gopher sports, I'd use it.

Updated: Just starting to use the "all new" app. It's worse than ever. It's not intuitive as to its navigation. I will delete it. Very disappointing.

MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp is by far the worst sports app on my phone! If there’s a game in progress you should be able to go to that sport and see the score right away. You shouldn’t have to dig around 17 different screens to find it. And the men’s hockey schedule is completely worthless. There are no dates visible - only the month. And if you scroll very far you lose the month heading, too. Also, there’s no broadcast information anywhere. These are basic things!! Doesn’t anyone in the entire U sports department have accountability for how MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp works? Unacceptable in 2018 to have such a bad digital experience as a fan.

But there is a glitch with the schedule. It does not show which sport the schedule is for, it just lists multiple opponents and times. Also the font color for the TV/radio information is far too close to the grey background, it is a strain to see it.
Also, it needs to stop asking me to sign in every time I open it, if I wanted to be signed in to a profile or whatever I would have done it.

MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp is good for current rosters and schedule. They are often very late in updating the current schedule to future schedules. For example, right now it is January 2019 and the 2018 schedule is still posted. Although future football schedules are available, they are not displayed on MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp. News content is very dated as well. Please consider posting future schedules!

MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp is completely non-functional. It has a constant error message stating there are problems reaching the server. It’s impossible to view any scores, news, etc. Overall, MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp has gotten progressively worse with each supposed update. Additionally, there’s no way to contact the developers about the issues. Just terrible, don’t waste your time. If I could give it negative stars, I would. MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp is a disgrace.

I don’t mind MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp , but agree that the earlier version was a bit better overall for content and functionality.

I use an iPad Pro connected to a keyboard and hate the fact it won’t work in landscape mode...portrait only. Allow it to work both ways please.

It is a much better matchup with the website than the older version.

It’s not the most full-featured app ever, but it does what it says it will just fine.

I usually use it mostly for scores of live games.

The new update just wrecked a halfway decent app. It doesn’t work anymore. Nice job developers on a poor update rendering MinnesotaGophersOfficialApp useless! Come on..fix the “we’re currently having trouble reaching the server “ message! CBS interactive is terrible at resolving or responding their poor quality.

Nice app, but there are no dates on the schedule... seems like the first thing you’d make sure was listed when presenting a schedule of events. The general calendar should also list what sport the event is for.

Information is to hard to get to and find. Wish it was easier to navigate through it.

This update version was obviously compiled by some techie who is enamored by his/her technical competence—but someone who has no clue how to make an app user-friendly for the majority of users. Older versions were much easier to navigate.

Haven’t actually opened it yet just felt like saying that

Doesn’t orient properly; can’t navigate beyond stupid content no one wants; and can’t even read the dark font on dark background genius color scheme. How fitting a doormat app should come from a doormat program...
