First off, they buy 5-star reviews by offering free coins in exchange for a 5-star review. Now if people would realize that they have no way of knowing you actually left a 5-star review, WhatsMyIQ would probably not be rated anywhere near this high.

WhatsMyIQ is in no way a test of logic or IQ. WhatsMyIQ does have some decent puzzles. But many make absolutely absurd leaps in logic, such as somehow you are supposed to know that your score, which is shown the entire time, is part of one of the puzzles, though there is absolutely no reason for you to draw this conclusion yourself. Unless you do what I did, and assume that it is probably something ridiculous like that only because of the other stupid puzzles you've already had to complete before you got there...

I've uninstalled WhatsMyIQ .

Just really stupid. They try to hard to do things to trick you. Basically by the third level you realise the whole idea is that you have to take the instructions literally and not do the intuitive thing which is fun for about five levels. After that its like they just ran out of ideas and sometimes the game is wrong, which is confusing. Like one of the levels says "how many apples are on the tree" it shows three but if you shake it three more hidden apples fall to the ground and the first three remain on the tree, the answer to pass the level is 6, but the true, correct, answer (which is wrong to the game) is 3 apples ON the tree. So it really just gets all twisted and confusing because of its inconsistent lame attempt at riddles.

I've read the rest of the reviews and I had to laugh. This is a clever app which makes you slap your forehead when you finally get the answer. The way WhatsMyIQ manipulates your device is also interesting. Too many crybabies writing poor reviews because they got stumped and this generation doesn't like having the answers held back obviously. Shame on the creators for making them think outside the box and not giving "cheats". I give it six stars for creativity.

There's really no reason not to be playing it; this game is tons of fun, works your brain out and free! What more could you want? I play brain games like this a lot and this one has quickly become a favorite! The only reason I'm rating four stars instead of five is because it seems like some of the answers are a little far fetched sometimes. It's not often, usually the answers make sense but sometimes it's kind of reaching. All in all I'd say it's an amazingly built game!

When you guys complain "oh I wanted puzzles this is just stupid questions" , these are puzzles!!!! They are challenges to think out side the box!! It is a very fun app and very challenging! I only have one problem, why can't we earn free cheats with out having a face book? I'm 12 I don't need a face book!! Please try to think about younger players that don't have a face book. And I can't get past the point when it says "clean the car" . Can u guys help at all? Thanks .

I saw some people's comments but I think that those people who wrote bad things about it. I think it is a great game because you have to sit and try to figure it out. It's point was for you to think outside the box. So meaning you have to think for a little bit before you hate it. This game I awesome. I wouldn't listen to those other reviews this game is great if you can take a set and think outside the box. 😃😃😃😃😃

There is a notice at the start that this tests your creativity by giving you puzzles with absurd answers. Well, that's exactly what it does! I keep getting a lot of them wrong and have to read the solution, but I love this game. My kids love it, too, because the solutions are so wacky, and they often figure one out before any adults can.

Really good for developing critical thinking instead of the tendency to mindlessly follow instructions.

WhatsMyIQ had potential but the questions are so subjective and many are impossible to know unless you created WhatsMyIQ . For example "tap the bucket with water again" there are no buckets with water so you use your cheats which tells you to invert your phone so water comes out of the bucket.. What!? Why would I invert my phone? How would I know that? Also tap the smallest number.. There are a few numbers so logically you tap the smallest but NO you're supposed to tap the word number because it's written smaller than the actual numbers but is the same size as the words?! The word number is not a number though, it's a word! Stupid!

The questions are so mind twisting but when you get the answer after it was a hard question it's the best feeling in the world (as long as you didn't cheat) the only thing I would change is either make the adds small in a different place or take them out because I hit the adds every once in a while and it gets annoying

Many of the puzzles have trick answers that could have more than one solution. For example one question said to tap the biggest number. There was a large 9 and a tiny 15. The answer could be 9 because it is big in size, but it could be 15 because it is big in value. Even if you are a super super smart person, you still may get a wrong answer since they duped you. The reason why they do this is because they want you to get frustrated. When you get frustrated you will want to use cheats. The cheats cost money, therefore the people who made WhatsMyIQ can make a quick buck.

Definitely not what I expected with the name, but it's okay for what it is, a game designed to trick you (not designed to grade your iq in any way). To be fair it kind of tells you this if you read the description before downloading WhatsMyIQ .

However, it has some bugs. My phone never crashes, but it did with this game when linking to Facebook every time.(which it says in the description it fixed in 2012)

Also, if I'm nitpicking (which is the idea of a review) some questions were a little farfetched. Meaning I got what they were saying but it really wasn't true.. For example the word even is not in any way an even number but it part of the answer, other wise not terrible.

All in all, after 10 minutes and 50 questions I just deleted WhatsMyIQ because it's not any fun twice but it was okay once

This is not a game to test your IQ - it's a game that tests your ability to be creative, and teach you how frustrating life and answers can be in hindsight. I got to the 11th puzzle, and decided this game was a waste of time. There isn't exactly an intellectual challenge, or complex solutions that most people would be looking for. Just frustrating hindsight to "their" answers, and just another app trying to make money.

If you really want a challenge, you may as well get good at sudoku or Bridge. And if you want to pay to "train" your brain, look into lumosity or one of those apps.

It's hard and all of you know that but it's fun and we can respect that so try to help the person who made WhatsMyIQ by writing good reviews even if you like it a little bit.i want to tell the person that made WhatsMyIQ good job and thank you very much 😄😃😀☺😊😎!!!!!!!

Thought it would be clever little word puzzles, but instead was met with a game in which the puzzles were a play on words or just absurd. In one question I was asked which way a torch was facing, I choose first that the torch wasn't turned on, is was wrong. The answer was the word the torch was literally pointing at. Later I was greeted with an identical question in which the answer was the torch was turned off. So the game is out to take your continues and have you pay for more or trick you into tricking your Facebook friends to pay. Either way, you're the sucker.

This game is a waste. Of your time, money, memory, and even of WhatsMyIQ Store having it. It is so stupid. Whoever made this apparently likes making "puzzles" that make no sense. According to this waste of time, the number that is the smallest between 9, 18, 15, and 21, the WORD number is the smallest. What type of riddle is that? Answering that increases your fake iq on this "game". It does just the opposite, if you are stupid enough to think "number" is the smallest, you are so stupid. I don't know what type of mental disorder the developer of this game has, but they need it to be checked out by a doctor...

It's good I like it but it should give instructions on how to play the game like in some cases you have to tilt the device or you might have to click on the words instead of the stuff there or like you can use the answer there or number there more than twice other than that I give it a 5 out of 5

These are not logic puzzles. They are not solvable with standard information, but instead with the developers' set of rules. For example, the same question is asked over several levels and the answer varies. The first time "Which number is smallest?" is asked, the answer refers to the physical size of the number. That's fine, logically. The second time it is asked it is not logical. It cannot be answered with the word "number" if there is only one instance of the word "number" appearing. "Which" always indicates a choice of at least 2 options.

Based on misleading or under defined directions, you must figure out how this game is trying to outsmart you. Your given capabilities are always changing and how to solve very similar puzzles will change. My advice: try to figure out what they aren't telling you. Then figure out your capabilities, then solve.

Many of the questions are inconsistent or down right stupid. Around question number 25 for example, it asks you how many apples are on the tree. It gives you multiple options including 3 and 6 and only shows 3 apples. What it doesnt show you is 3 apples behind those, but, you cannot click on the 6 without first shaking the phone, dropping the 3 apples making the answer 3 . But, the only correct answer is 6 when there are only 3 apples on the tree... Idk, maybe there are 3 more hidden apples but that was downright stupid.

Love the game but would like it to be a game I could keep and not have to uninstall when I'm done. Perhaps new test puzzles could be downloaded or pushed.., I'd pay for this game if it could be updated. Perhaps once a month. I play until I have competed in one sitting. Then it is useless, worth paying for!
