4.5 out of 5

Pages keep going blank

Since the latest update, when the page loads, all the columns are present, but almost immediately they disappear, leaving only the photographs and a blank page. If you go back a page, then forward, it will reload and may or may not be readable. After a few minutes, the app crashes and you have to start over again. No place in app to contact developers or PNJ regarding issues.

Not worth it

While the app is good about giving up-to-date news alerts, they give you a limit of 30 articles a month to look at, unless you want to pay to see the articles. Even after the month, when you’re supposed to have free articles, they still won’t allow you to see the articles, stating “you’ve reached your free article limit for this month” and to subscribe to see the article. I am not pleased.

There is no “crime” section

The desktop/mobile website hardly ever works, so I figured if I paid for this app I wouldn’t have as many issues. I was incorrect, and furthermore, there isn’t even a section for crime on the app, but there is on the website. This is the only thing I care to utilize this app for. If they fix it I will reinstate my subscription, but it’s not worth the time it took to download, let alone the monthly fee.
