Calendar Widget Planner Reviews

I recently purchased CalendarWidgetPlanner and it is a totally waste of money!! To many bugs to be fixed! First of all you can’t make the days of the week bigger among other issues I had with it and they are way to small!! I email them and he gave me directions on how to fix it supposibly but ofcourse I think he knew it did not work I told him I tried it like 4 times and it stayed the same. He kept on saying and giving the same instructions I told him didn’t work! And did not want to refund me back! And was very rude! I would never purchase again and would not recommend!! Find other calendars that I’m sure are better and so is the customer service!!

I entered several re-occurring events in the calendar. These events are for one day only, and the-occur each month. After a few days use, these events now span 2 DAYS, and the calendar will not allow me to tap on event and adjust?? Each reoccurring event is marked with a @ symbol.
I like the ability to review my monthly events at a glance, but if this glitch cannot be fixed, then it is worthless to me and a waste of $5

I thought CalendarWidgetPlanner was going to be “the one” but unfortunately it isn’t. I love how everything can be customized, but other than that, that’s it. The months are glitchy, the speed is soooo slow, at times it would randomly freeze and all of a sudden I’m 6 years back rather than viewing the current month. Even after that, I tried to close the entire app, and then it froze. I hope this gets fixed as this was not a free app. I paid for the pro and all the extra bells and whistles. Unfortunately for now, I’m disappointed in CalendarWidgetPlanner.

I have had problems with getting alerts from this calendar. I changed the colors on the calendar so past days were a different color and the weekends would not change. (Weekends have a different setting and even with changes to the setting they would not change) i like that i can look at the calendar and can see the appointment and time without having to open each event. I also like that when i put in a task it follows me from day to day until i mark it complete.
Hoping they can help me with alerts and reminders as i get neither one right now.

Hi , i just installed CalendarWidgetPlanner and it says i have to give permission to access my calendar and i want to di that but when i tap open settings to give access it doesn’t have the calendar option its only the siri and language , what should I do:)

CalendarWidgetPlanner has many extra features I use often. It’s very well done, especially for a free app!
One feature I use often is the color coding. Although it would be helpful it was easier. For example to make all doctor appointments stand out I might color them purple. Doing that now requires trying to match the setting of the color slides each time. Makes it hard to be consistent. Not a huge problem but some basic color buttons to just click would be easier.
Also, the repeat feature is not easy or intuitive. But with a little work it does well.
Overall this is a great app!

Calendar Planner is truly a great app. The only downside that I have with it is that there a no widgets. At this point with iOS calendar/planner apps, widgets are pretty much a standard inclusion. Why? Widgets are genuinely helpful and informative. Maybe the developer will include them someday. Still, Calendar Planner is a great app.

My one problem is sometimes you can’t delete repeating events. It reappears after deletion. Otherwise fine application. I use it every day. I like the options to make things different colors.

I relied on this calendar to track past visits to Doctors, Blood Pressure, oil changes, etc. Recently the calendar erased all history. Many of us would be willing to pay more to keep our history.

I left the fast paced corporate world two years ago for retirment. Life did not slow down, it just morphed into new personal commitments of my choosing and pleasure.
Grandkids to music lessons or soccer practice to volunteer events or doctor appointments, intermixed with travel to somewhere on the planet. For me, I use different colors of CalendarWidgetPlanner to show if an event is Personal, Family, Volunteer, Other, etc. This simple app has now helped me keep me organized so I can enjoy every day.

CalendarWidgetPlanner is seamless. I can see all my appointments fully, at a glance, without opening the day view. (Which is why I went looking for an alternative to Apple calendar). It’s so smooth I never have to think about it. That is priceless to me. And I just realized I never wrote a review all these years! Im sorry My Cal! here ya go.

Hello John was able to help me find the repeat rule I needed it seems a recent iOS 15 update hid the “X” repeat days rule I’m very happy with CalendarWidgetPlanner but even more impressed that the developer got a hold of me to help me find the repeat function I needed and not only that followed up with me to make sure I got it to work. The follow up / customer service was the best I’ve had in a long time Thank you again Tom I am looking to add an event that rotates 8 days and I am unable to do that can you create a rule that allows that. Repeat event every “x” days thanks

I really like this Calendar app as in landscape mode for my iPad and you can purchase the Pro Pack for $3.99 as worth every penny. Nice layout with color options and fonts can be adjusted. This is a really nice one to have. A big THANKS to the developer.

As a business owner, I needed a calendar that would let me see events in a monthly view and this is the ONLY calendar with the customizability to do what I needed. Beyond that, I was impressed with the ability to customize colors, events, times, and recurring appointments.

This is CalendarWidgetPlanner that got me off of paper calendars and I will stick with it forever because they keep improving it. Every time I notice a problem, the developers are already solving the issue and updates come quickly to fix it.

Try it out, and you will quickly understand why it’s so great. Don’t hesitate to buy the upgrades because they’ll allow you to get even more customized and will quickly pay for itself.

I have been using CalendarWidgetPlanner for about 2 years now and I love it. It keeps track of my work schedule and my personal schedule with everything being easy to find.

Love CalendarWidgetPlanner!! So easy to use and easy to look at. I love how you can choose to see the dates by month, or weekly, or daily. I use this to track my workouts mostly. Love it!

Why are the daily events that I enter on my calendar erased after a couple months. I'd like a calendar that keeps these sometimes historic memories 😱

Once my Cal updated to the latest version i can not add anywhere events and it does not sync with my iMac

My favorite calendar will always be the Samsung Calendar but I must say this is close second.
I’m a dog sitter (so you say) not a high powered job until my clients dates don’t show up on my calendar that I’m almost positive I entered when they called. I found myself writing things down so I could go back later to check my phone calendar. That’s not what I wanted. With this calendar I can see everything and entering new dates or new info is a breeze.
I can look at my monthly calendar always and know what wonderful dog I’m going to be with .
The only thing I would change is the top banner. It feels cluttered on top . Maybe only the very basic should be there and others show up with an arrow?
Great job with this calendar…almost my favorite!!!
