Movie Maker 3D Reviews

I always read the lowest reviews first to get a baseline. Often I find the 1 star reviews to be self-entitled people complaining just for the sake of complaining. But that is not the case with MovieMaker3D.

Unfortunately the 1 star reviews are in the right this time. MovieMaker3D automatically downloads EVERYTHING from your camera roll and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn this feature off, nor a way to select a large portion of "memories" and delete all.

Now, if you are a person who ONLY takes pictures of memorable moments, this isn't a problem for you. But sometimes people take pictures of unimportant things for the moment. Case and point, my eyes aren't that great, so sometimes I take pictures of menu boards I can't see very well and look at them on my phone. I don't need this to be auto-imported into my timeline.

Now, sure, I can just delete that picture when I open MovieMaker3D again to reorganize my memories, but on first time use, it downloaded 7 years of photos. Seven years is a lot of clean-up time.

Seriously guys, give us the choice to download our entire library if we want to. Don't do it automatically.

I just find it hard to believe the controls are so cumbersome when easier controls for a format such as this are out there and available to use. Such a great concept but moving the camera angles with arrows one little clip at a time is crazy. Yes some natural zoom and pan ability is there but even the pan is stuck on a camera track that circles the object in an unnatural way. Needs a lot of work!

I downloaded it and I added characters but I couldn’t move my screen in the right way. It kept moving back to this one weird side position. Also, I didn’t get how to make them move because they just stood there and it wasn’t very movie-like. I would really like if someone told me either what I’m doing wrong or I will delete MovieMaker3D because all it’s doing is taking up storage on my iPad. Thank you.

Pros: Nice 3D models it’s nice how you don’t have to draw it out like most animation apps (I’m horrible at drawing), large variety of things you can do, love how you can adjust the ground and characters and objects easily, love how realistic it is.

Cons: You have to pay for way to many things it’s way to expensive and not many things are free, when I’m animating my character there’s for some reason like a delay on some of the codes for example: I make my character walk forward and then make him say something, but then it takes like 30 seconds for him to say the thing and no matter what I do I can’t fix the 30 second delay!!!, also when I first started using MovieMaker3D it was very hard to work with MovieMaker3D I had to kind of play with it for so long until I got it because the tutorials are not very helpful they only cover like two or three things why not cover everything, or add a help button that explains what everything does.

Suggestions: It would definitely be nice if we had more animals such as dolphins, sharks, different wolf types other then just grey, same with foxs, or it would be nice if we could create our own animals, also for humans it would be cool if we could change the colors of the clothes instead of just changing the clothes for example: I see a hoodie that’s the perfect style I needed but I don’t like the colors, it would be nice if I could change that

I downloaded MovieMaker3D and began working on the “new projects” screen. I added a couple of things and a avatar just to start playing with MovieMaker3D . I watched the “getting started” video which showed a customize button but I have not been able to find that button anywhere on then screen or can i find how to upload images from your computer into the scene.,I’m going to try another app..this starts out simple but falls short on ease of use….

Seems like a very nice app, I love how you don’t have to pay a subscription like many apps do now a days. Most of the stuff the subscription gives is stuff you can buy as a one time purchase. Some things I’d like to see though are:
—Decor not having to load and unload outside whenever the camera is off center of a particular photo building, like in the preview. Currently things are always loading and unloading, when your off center of a building.
—The ability to walk around in none AR mode, vs tapping and rotating.
—It would be nice if in all rooms the slideshows would auto play, not just the lobby.
—Currently we can’t use much of the water or any space beyond a single building. It would be nice if it was more open.
—It would also be nice to see new environments, like the mountains, where snow would be all around the player/camera, especially with winter coming up. Maybe we could place the ship down and actually go across the water to the mountains.
—Lastly, sound. Sound may help the environment pop.

I know this is a photo viewing app, not a sandbox world, their just ideas.

I like MovieMaker3D! It’s great for aspiring filmmakers. The only downside to MovieMaker3D is the lack of freedom when it comes to animation for the characters. I wish my characters could do more movement than the animations they have now. I wish we could have more freedom in creating scenes as well. Also the controls are ULTRA SENSITIVE. I wish there was a lock for the background or the characters so they won’t move whenever I try to move the camera.

Other than that, I like MovieMaker3D and it’s easy to use.

Developer kindly responded to my previous review; I'll update my rating in hopes that Timebox UI gets easier. I do love the idea of creating my own 3D scenes. The items are pretty and realistic. Looking forward to what's in store...
Former review: Subscribed for a year to check it out. Way too time-consuming to move items, etc. Getting animations the way I want them is confusing and difficult...

Timebox is the easiest way to browse through years of photos and find a specific pic or just re-live the memories. My husband and I just spent such a fun time seeing all the pictures we took when we brought our puppy home a couple of years ago. The ability to make stories is just the cherry on top. Fab app!

I really appreciate MovieMaker3D it saves all my pics and I have a way of journaling my days. Free apps come with some work so I do have to delete some pic. It also pulls information from my calendar so I don't have to saw what the event(s) where it is all there in the title for the day. I appreciate MovieMaker3D a great deal.

The latest release 10.1 offers many exciting upgrades. The product continues to expand and provide creative and unique opportunities for subscribers. Also, the developers listen to users
Feedback and make responsive changes.
Highly recommended MovieMaker3D.

MovieMaker3D is so much fun. You can relive all your memories and find new and old photos so quickly. The upgrades take photo organization to an entire new level. It’s a little too addicting reliving and sharing family and travel memories! So easy even this BabyBoomer can navigate and create.

Hello, I really wanna purchase MovieMaker3D but I want to know if I can add my self as a 3-D object or to the object because I would really like to add myself in the scene. I think that would be really cool. Do you know how to do it I do plan on buying your software I just really wanna include myself so I can start creating content. Thank you I absolutely love this software.

I'm a busy mother of 3 children, including a 3 month old and this is the answer to my prayers. I don't have time to organize photos to print out but I love being able to make these easily into a book and goes by date easily picks up from my iPhone. Right now my baby girls Months are all blurring together and I wanted to track her growth and changes and little memories each month to make a baby book but don't have time. This made it super easy!!!!

Timebox is the best way to browse through the massive collection of photos on my phone. It is the best way to rediscover old photos. Once I get started I can spend ages going through them.

If you want, you can also make your photos into stories by adding text. Also, super easy to create videos. I haven’t tried to make a book yet, but that sounds like a fun option.

At the end of the day there aren’t many things more important than precious memories, and that’s what Timebox is all about.

I love MovieMaker3D, but I was waiting for the new update to come, you haven’t did a update since December last year, I been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and there’s no update, it’s been a while since a new update, so I don’t know what is going on, so i just have one question for you guys, can you please do the new update, please oh please oh please oh please oh please, if you do a new update, think of new idea’s, well that’s all wanted to ask I believe, so bye

I just made a demo simulation of an educational RPG game I created, and it is a good model for showcasing my product. Last year, I had great enthusiasm for this game, but I created video while in a manic episode of bipolar, so the quality suffered. However, I loved this software then and love it twice as much a year later, now that I can finally use it as a professional tool. I love the options, flexibility, openness and inclusiveness of this product. I love the vast amount of scenarios I can work in. For beginners, just be dedicated. This software may take you a while to learn.

So many features, it’s totally worth any subscription for this type of sandbox. Could use more clips but 580 or whatever it is, feels like a lot when you are messing around. Really fun app. Could use some more objects and clips.
