So slowwww in 14.1 and 14.2 on iPhone 11Pro Max

The last update runs very slowly and constantly redownloads and stalls with every change to a student. Saves take especially long and searching for students is worse.

The student searches don’t show any results when they do in the web browser login. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Consistently poor performance.

Further, it would be great to have a recurring interval option for each student. How many repeats and for how long.

Latency

The latency in this program is unreal and disruptive. Because of the latency issues it’s hard to book appointments and sometimes they don’t get on the schedule which causes missed appointments and unhappy customers. If they could fix the issue we would stay with the program. Unfortunately we are transitioning into a new program. Also hard to get a hold of customer service as you can no longer call and haven’t to sign into a computer. I’m a mobile service and often don’t have my laptop in front of me.

Poor Functionality

DaySmartAppointments is horrible. Doesn’t load all the time. Constantly having to close DaySmartAppointments and reopen multiple times to see appointment info. Emailed support numerous times with no help and no answers other than it was supposed to be fixed in an update that was due by the end of December but never came. Charging full amount for a program that barely works and only offered 50% off one month even though the problem has been going on for 2 months now. Already working on switching to a more reliable program with better customer service.

Another horrible release

The login button is now half the size it used to be. In day move, it’s zoomed in and does not show the entire day like your screen shots show. Looking at my day tomorrow, I can’t even scroll down to view my 4pm appointment, yet on other days, it scrolls down to the bottom.

Really questioning if they even test DaySmartAppointments when they release it.

Still hoping out for notifications when you get appointments assigned to you...

Long time user

I have used the DaySmart scheduling system for years. I started when it was called appointment plus. I am not happy with the current app. When I want to look at a different month, it can take three minutes for DaySmartAppointments to give me the next month. I can have my computer turned off - then open the computer and open my browser and go to DaySmart to schedule an appointment for a client before the phone app will give me the next month to look for an appointment.

Buggy

If I need to change an appointment to another time or date, it should be as easy as tapping edit, changing date/time, and hitting save. It even appears to be that easy and it looks like it has saved. However, when I log out and back in, the appointment is back on the original slot. This means I have double booked and almost didn’t show up to one! The only way I can be sure a rescheduled appointment will be at the correct time is to edit it from my laptop at home. No making changes while out. Please fix.

Too many issues

DaySmartAppointments worked fine until recent updates. It does not allow appointment setting anymore. I have to leave the application and go on the web to set the appointment. It is time consuming and difficult to navigate from a cell phone or iPad. This has been going on for months and they Appointment Plus has not changed a thing. Basically is worthless. I decided to try and find another software company.

Updates made the app useless

We used to be able to call and populate a map from the customer area in the appointment and now you can’t. Daysmart doesn’t have a live call center and literally have not responded back to our inquiry through chat. We have used this company for 17 years and we are done.

Not as good as the web version...

Super frustrating that it’s just not as helpful as the web version. I like DaySmartAppointments because accessibility on mobile devices is super helpful, but DaySmartAppointments is so limited it’s not worth it. Can’t cancel appointments without the whole thing crashing, and the person still shows up in my schedule. Can’t add repeating appointments, can’t list reasons for canceling. Meh.

Slow and very glitchy. Getting worse over time.

Especially on certain iPads the application must be closed and reopened every few clicks. It gets stuck a lot. Very glitchy. Expensive also and charge extra for text messages. They keep saying it’s fixed but it’s not. In fact it’s getting worse. Time for a change.

Changes

DaySmartAppointments has worked well for me for several years. However the most recent version of DaySmartAppointments does not allow me to select a client package. Therefore I cannot deduct the sessions from their package without logging into the desktop version of the software. Therefore I am unable to use DaySmartAppointments to effectively run my business. I tried to find a way to contact customer service but it is very difficult to find a direct way to communicate with them.

Updates have screwed everything up.

DaySmartAppointments used to be fine but after the most recent updates, it’s now horrible. Takes forever to search for a client, sometimes it won’t find them the first time but then if you try again it will. The wheel will sit there and spin for forever while my clients are waiting for me to book them. They definitely need to be working on fixing all the bugs.

Too slow

DaySmartAppointments was working just fine and perfect calendar to schedule appointments for my clients. However, I totally agree with the other reviewers that whatever bugs you claim has been fixed, seems as if you added some bugs to DaySmartAppointments. DaySmartAppointments keeps saying loading, saving, spinning & then you can’t get into the calendar & you have to close DaySmartAppointments and then go back in. It takes way too long to try making an appointment. We are looking into a different software as well. Unless you can fix this issue, we were very pleased before.

Muffie at the beauty store

It has been a pain and not working now for 5 weeks. It has all of our clients mixed together. It takes 2 minutes to get to clients. It has taken me up to two days for it to allow me to make an appointment. It will come up with error 100 times. It is so slow we have to just use the reserve to make an appointment which screws up our client records. Would not recommend. I would totally use something else but the beauty store owner has chosen this.

App review

DaySmartAppointments used to work just fine. Now with the last two updates I have done, it continues to tell me that the appointment slot cannot be found. If I schedule it through their A-P webpage online vs. App, I do not have this issue. DaySmartAppointments is definitely not nearly as effective with this major problem. It still allows my temporary staff to note if they are unavailable (Reserved) and they can still see what I have scheduled for them, but I am unable to schedule their work through DaySmartAppointments .

Functional

No thrills, functional most of the time. Subpar aesthetics and intuitive feel. I spend most of my time time trying to find a better equally-ish affordable software. Still looking. It does the job, like I said, most of the time.

Not bad but needs some updates

My remote office uses AP to schedule appointments for me and it works great. My main issues are that I don’t get notifications when something is added to my calendar and there are no reminders on my iPhone to remind me of the appointments. Don’t use any of the other features

App

I would give the program five stars. It's fantastic and has saved our company time and prevented so many errors. Since the rating is for DaySmartAppointments , only four stars because it does not allow us to see the entire clinic schedule for the day. None of us actually use it because of this.

Outstanding Products

My wife and I were looking for a program that would allow our clients to book their own appointment. This is extremely easy and saves us much time. The fact that the program syncs with a cell phone makes this software in my top 3.

Great company / app will follow

New customer to Appointment-Plus. First off let me say that their customer service is second to none. They’ve broken the appointment/scheduler system down to the finest detail. I haven’t found a system that offers the user as much control as these guys. Yes, DaySmartAppointments is very basic but I’m sure in time it will live up to ours and their standards. Keep up the good work!
