I love the explore cams, especially Service Dog Project. That's where I saw info about a new app for iPad. Sorry to say, at this time, I'm not a fan. Maybe it's because I have an older iPad 3...it loaded in portrait and will not flip to landscape, gave up waiting for a view to load and it seemed to be missing lots of info & chat. Maybe that would have loaded if the view ever opened. I understand it's a work in progress...with all that explore has accomplished and supported I look forward to exploreorg being fantastic, too!

I downloaded exploreorg to try after explore removed the ability to watch full screen view, and the different streaming options on the iPad. exploreorg is even worse than the site. It does not work in landscape mode, the screens are cut off and will not resize to fit on a 9.7 inch screen. I am wholly disheartened by the site and app. I enjoy watching the eagles, big cats, and occasionally the panda’s. Losing the ability to control streaming options and watch full screen is sad.

Once you get a stream to come up, after much difficulty, you can’t get out. Often times, it just won’t respond. You can’t get it to do anything. Sometimes, a screen will come up saying some technical jargon meaning “This won’t work”. It says it’s live, but at 12:00AM, the stream shows a picture in daylight. You go to this to relax and end up very frustrated and tense. Why can’t you just tap on a picture and have it play? The technology isn’t ready for this to work yet, apparently.

I have tried using exploreorg on my iPad for a couple of days now. The video worked on one occasion last night, otherwise all I get is a spinning circle, sometimes with sound but no video, mostly nothing. I’ve tried a variety of different cameras, it’s the same with all of them. I am using a brand new iPad and have tried multiple Wi-Fi sources and my Verizon broadband. The webcam videos play fine in a web browser, just not exploreorg. I was unable to submit feedback through exploreorg . That did not work either.

This whole livestream app is a GREAT idea and I watch every night. The website is so great, but exploreorg just falls short. exploreorg is very laggy and you can’t go into full screen without turning off lock rotation on your phone. Once you do that, the play/pause/fast forward/rewind are all unusable. If exploreorg added the full screen as a landscape mode I think it would work so much better and be more practical for me as a viewer. I don’t really want to watch in portrait mode.
I also wish there was a section that had “current activity” so I can check out what’s going on quickly if something is occurring, vs checking each individual stream.
I think allowing comments on the mobile app would also be nice.

I love the explore app! I love watching my favorite animals like elephants, pandas, dogs, and puppies. But most of the time whenever I go off one of the cams the whole screen freezes. This makes me have to exit out of exploreorg then go back on exploreorg which is very frustrating. Please fix this so everybody can watch their favorite animals without getting frustrated.

Much like the sanctuary itself, this is visually stunning. More importantly, it includes highlights of BCR, from favorite cats to favorite places to tour once inside, including Tiger Lake. There are some places that can only be seen via exploreorg or on video, like Windsong Memorial Hospital, that are fascinating. If you can’t get to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida, put THIS on your vacation list!

Absolutely love the new update that makes it so easy to fulfill Explore’s goal to Never Stop Learning! Favorite feature is being able to “favorite” the cams I watch the most. Bravo to Explore for a useful update and a top-notch mission!!

Love exploreorg! Our favorite to watch is Service dog project. They offer 24 hour viewing of their puppies and service dogs in training. They have a great leader with a big heart and change the lives of many deserving people. exploreorg is also great for viewing eagle nests and the bears in Alaska.

I love Explore. It’s my way of seeing many wondrous things around the world and things in nature we would never have the chance to observe. My favorite is Service Dog Project which I have been “tuning” to for 5 years keep up the great work Explore

If you want to see live cams on an animal this is the go to app!!! The quality even underwater is amazing and you can literally see anything!! Of course, they can’t help it if it’s night or if the animals aren’t in that particular spot but overall this is amazing!! 100/5

We kind of stumbled upon Explore when We were looking for a webcam of Ospreys in Maine. We found it on Explore and have been “hooked” ever since. We were living in NH at the time. When we moved to FL permanently we found Service Dog Project and have been faithful followers and supporters ever since.
The fact that they have a number of cameras at SDP, some with sound, and are on 24/7, is just amazing. SDP is doing awesome things breeding, training, and matching Great Danes to those with disabilities. The cameras help people see the wonderful work that is going on there.
Thank you Explore for having the cameras at SDP, as well as the many other cams which are bringing nature to people everywhere.

I found this site by accident 4 yrs ago, now I’m hooked..
Between the Service dog project and the Katmai bears to Frying pan tower, so much to see and watch and Learn. Because of these cameras and the wonderful people at explore, there is alot of new friendships being made.. I recommend this site to everyone I talk to..
Thank you for all you do..

While schools are currently shut down, exploreorg would be entertaining and informative for any age. Easy to use, which is a big plus. My only minor gripe is, on my phone, the space cams won’t load and crash exploreorg . But really, get it. I would even pay for this.

Whenever I need a reprieve from the horrors and conflicts created by human beings, I connect to natural wonder near and far from my home. Explore helps me to remember that the world existed before us and is not subject to our whims or plans. From seeing the glory of the Northern Lights to the delicate care of a mother toward her baby cat/dog/bear/bird, I feel restored and connected to the nature when watching Explore channels

I Love exploreorg! Watching Bears 🐻 in Alaska catch Salmon. Watching Panda Bears 🐼 play, rolling and tumbling it’s the greatest! I am a huge Aurora Borealis fan and have been watching it for several nights. I have found myself watching not only sharks under water but bears swimming under water too. Africa is awesome! There’s so much more! Works great all the time, never had a problem. Way to go Developers! 👍🏻👏🏻👊🏻🖐🏻

I love exploreorg it has allowed me to explore the world in a way that I could never afford to in real life. One of my favorite pages is Warrior Canine Connection’s puppy cams. It has given me a window into the lives of adorable Golden’s and labs but also a way to assist warriors recovering from PTS and mobility problems as the result of service to our country. I have seen so many parts of the world through this fabulous app!!!

This new version is great! Now I have access to Explore whenever I want. I had deleted the previous version of Explore app after finding it too cumbersome and buggy. I only used my home computer and the explore website which meant I missed some the live conversations and couldn’t share the wonderful Explore experiences with others during the day. Thanks to Carlene White at The Service Dog Project for letting her Camera People know about the updated app.

This is one of the best sights on Explore. The animals are all so entertaining. This organization is a TOP NOTCH place. I have been watching this for the last four years and I have learned so much. It is so heart warming to see these dogs from birth to a match with a recipient. I can (and do) spend hours watching this site. The wonderful woman (Carlene White) that started this organization is true gift to society. She is such an inspiration to all. The wonderful staff and all the volunteers that help to run this place are truly amazing. My only regret is that I live so far away and can’t be a volunteer.

This is a fabulous app for anyone who wants to explore the natural world. Should be at the top of every families list of apps. exploreorg has been around for awhile and just keeps getting better-more live cams, more hd. I put the African waterhole on my desk while i was writing just for the bird sounds and then an elephant wandered in, amazing!
I have lost all respect for this organization as they think feeding animals for the camera is ok and certain mods are overzealous banning people that as honest questions that apparently they don't like to answer! Charlie shame on you!
