I just installed Locals , but could not complete installation because it refused to complete unless I turned on privacy and gave access to my contacts. All I wanted to do was listen to a podcast from someone who lives 3000 miles away from me. I immediately uninstall Locals . Shortest lived app I’ve ever had on my phone.
My iPad doesn’t have GPS so I’m allowed to download Locals but not participate in anyway. You absolutely could let me input my zip, but nope. Harder to collect data that way.
Tried to register and failed to upload image which blocks me from completing registration. You guys need a better QA process if you have any.
For me the question “how to spend my weekend” is solved. I met a lot of great people with different interests on this app app.
