Shady practices

When speed is of upmost importance to get in/out trades, the worst thing to have as part of the user interface is a "Back" button. The programmers of FXCMTradingStation should know exactly what I'm talking about. There should be a "Buy More" button across all screens. This includes the Open Positions, Summary, and Closed Positions. All screens and all positions should have a "Buy More" option available. There should be no reason why you have to use a "Back" button to go to the Rates screen to look for the pair and enter a trade. By that time you've probably missed your good entry point opportunity. Therefore, 2 stars. Add the "Buy More" option across all screens, and it's a 5 star app.

FXCMTradingStation is great, really helpful graphs and easy to use, but what happened to the "stop" and "limit" buttons on my open summary tab? I used to have them and now they are no longer there. The only two things that are keeping it from 5 stars is that, and I think it would be better if once you click "buy" or "sell" the graph doesn't go away but gets smaller so you don't get screwed on a random spike since right now you can't see the graph once you click to "buy" or "sell".

All in all a great app. Works under most circumstances. Had a few issues with connectivity, but I am not positive it was FXCMTradingStation 's fault. Obviously I have a older iPhone so I use wifi as often as I can. That adds extra variables into the equation ie supported ports/network protocols/network traffic.

As far as FXCMTradingStation goes the only issue I find is the lack of indicators or more specifically tick volume. It seems silly to leave such a critical part of analysis out of FXCMTradingStation. Also, a way to import custom indicators. I designed one and would love to have it on me at all times.

I occasionally experience a couple minor issues. This mainly means very long-term (only like 200+) emas not loading and positions showing as open even though they've already closed. The latter issue is always resolved by simply restarting FXCMTradingStation , and doesn't actually affect your trade. It's unfortunate that so many people have had so many issues with FXCMTradingStation, but it has always been very solid for me. I've never experienced issues like charts not loading, etc.

Great improvement over previous version. The last version was really only useful for checking price action and scratching the itch to see what's going on in the market. The navigation was horrible. This version is much more intuitive and loads very quickly. As an app should. Would be great to add some indicators so that it could be more of decision making tool when away from the desk. Overall great improvement. Moving in the right direction.

Having an FXCM account and previously using meta trader, I was skeptical of the standard trading platform, but I found it was faster and easier to perform functions than others. Integrated pretty seamlessly with my account and includes all of the indicators I like to use.

Would be perfect if I could get notifications, but other than that, a pretty strong platform.

Very heavy to load every time. Charts almost always not available. Rarely to be able to see a chart. In more of than 50% of login time you don't see your open positions. It says not available now. Half of the other 50% you get every position doubled, I mean if you have 2 open position you see 4 open ones and each 2 are identical. The application shuts down by itself suddenly but not too many times actually happened 3 times only in a month. The live rates that you can see without logging in are not accurate or near accurate.

Incredible app! I have only two humble requests. Push notifications or alerts on limit or take profit orders and the option to close all open positions simultaneously (these are both options I have seen in other broker's mobile platforms). Keep up the great work.

No update in almost one year. This platform seems antiquated, but gets the job done with no frills. It desperately needs to be refreshed to accommodate iPhone 6, and to allow notifications. An alert when a trade is opened or closed is the norm nowadays; FXCMTradingStation does not inform you when you this happens. The redeeming feature is the ability to set a net stop and TP of multiple trades within a position. PLEASE give us price and trade notifications!!

It is very convenient to draw a trend line and get notification when it gets broken at the close of the candle. This will be the biggest improvement by far! And a stochastic rsi indicator needs to be added. Other than that app is the best!

Haven't got to actually trade with it yet since I downloaded it over the weekend, however, immediately noticing amazing improvements! Thank you! Let's just hope FXCMTradingStation does not crash like the old one!

Functionality this is a very powerful app. Works well for trading when not at a desktop. Obviously this isn't supposed to be your primary source for forex

I've had positions close at a stop or limit and while I was watching FXCMTradingStation it showed that the position was still open. This is happened multiple times, and when I called tech support they blamed it on my wifi. This didn't fly with me because at the same time I had two other devices working just fine. I'll be going to a different broker that has a app that actually works.

I've had FXCMTradingStation for a few months and it keeps getting better, and better with each up date.

It is easy to navigate, the news is aligned with the iPhone screen and many other food features.

With the newest update FXCMTradingStation is now the best one available for trading. Thank you guys for taking suggestions and for the custom fib levels as well as volume and drag and drop entry's 👍👍
