I bought this remote to control my home theater equipment but the only thing I got to work is my Marantz receiver. It doesn’t pair with my LG tv. Every other remote I tried does that. Regarding to the description on the webpage it has an easy to configure interface. It also says under features : The audio-video interface has the same look and feel as your old remote - really. Mine looks not like my old one and I can’t find anything on their webpage how to change the interface. A lot of things that are mentioned there don’t exist. How do I create buttons or sliders? Where is the device database? And there seems to be no support whatsoever. I sent them an email last week but never got an answer.

Is that company still in business or is that just another way to make money? $30 for an app that not really works and no way to test it before you buy. Can I get my money back? Probably not. Just another scam.

I downloaded MyURemote based on reviews and having viewed the promotional video on the website. MyURemote promises to be intuitive and easy to set up as well as use. Nothing could be further from the truth. Programming is next to near impossible on a small device. Programming via laptop, easier to negotiate, however, unsuccessful. I did not contact customer support as if this were 'intuitive' and 'easy to use' basic programming should not require such communication. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This purchase was for $34+ and was to replace my Bose Remote and that remote is 1. impossible to see in the dark due to lack of back illumination and 2. still not compatible with Apple TV after all this time.

The database doesn’t load, custom device entries do not appear in MyURemote , and scanning for devices on the network does not work. Do not buy this. It’s simply not functional.

as we have multiple devices we have a pile of different remotes and had to use a different remote for every task. To control this setup I was looking for simplicity and something that doesn't cost a fortune. The solution was MyURemote. Finally my family can wath a movie without calling me at work

We have 2 60" Vizio TV's and 2 NEC P501X Projectors along with a sound system in our training room. We were looking for a solution to control all of the multi-media devices from an iPad. We were quoted over $3000 to accomplish this task. After I did some searching, I found this app. I supplied this app with the IP Commands for the projectors and after a few debugging sessions, the new device was up and running. this app along with GlobalCache hardware solved our problem for less than $200. The people at this app were very cooperative and helpful. I would recomend this app to anyone with the need to control home devices or multi-media via WiFi. IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED!

this app is a first class app it has great integration for all Audio-Video devices that you can buy. It is very simple to configure and put into action. Integrated into global cache and IP managed devices are superb.
The control of the home theater is superb and having the flexibility to control each room is a god send for me. The technical help by email and phone is very fast and personal, they will bend over backwards to sort out any problems you may have. Get MyURemote you will enjoy its interface

I have had this over a year, and slowly have upgraded systems in the house. With my phone, i can now control my BOSE system, outdoor speakers, pool speakers, TV, radio, Apple TV input changes into Bose, etc. And every time I email the support team for questions, issues, and even recently when I changed routers- they were quick in helping me setup and reconfigure. excellent. worth much more than what i paid for MyURemote and the small smart-connect device. thanks guys! keep it coming

I have MyURemote controlling my 10 yr-old Pioneer home theater-in-a-box, Apple TV3, Sharp 4K TV using GlobalCache GC100 and IR. It also works great on the Roku Ultra via IP.

The macros/scenes really help the WAF. I can watch Apple TV with the press of one button. It powers on the TV and AMP, sets them to correct inputs and wakes the Apple TV. I can then easily navigate the ATV menus using MyURemote .

Who needs expensive, vendor locked solutions like Control4? Everyone can install like a pro with MyURemote. Get yourself a GlobalCache device and you'll be hiding your equipment out of view without losing function.

MyURemote works perfectly with my Bose Lifestyle system and with multiple zones. It was easy to configure and I have been very pleased with the result! No more need to buy extra remotes for extra zones! Also, the support team has been incredibly helpful. They helped debug a problem over email, responding to questions within a few hours. I also wanted to be able to remotely turn on/off my IP enabled Sharp Aquos TV and the support team helped build some custom macros to make that happen. Highly Rated and Recommended!

The only thing better than this amazing app is the support! Had a question on the setup and sent an email to support at 7pm - received a response within ten minutes! Danny resolved my issue and I was controlling my V20 with multiple zones (SA3's and non-Bose amps) within minutes. There is simply is no better way to control your A/V system! UPDATE: Have used this app for more than three years as a whole yacht control aboard a 60 foot Sunseeker Predator. There is nothing on the market that controls a Bose system better! I’ve been using this fantastic app to control my Bose Lifestyle system, including 3 additional zones, and it works flawlessly. I have only written a handful of reviews as usually I am disappointed with the application or the support. I purchased MyURemote recently, and was surprised at its simplicity and ability to get at what was needed. I wanted an application that allowed me to control my home theater devices while working on my iPad. MyURemote is easy to set up and you will be up in no time. I did run into a problem with one of my devices. I reached out for support, and worked with Danny. I presented the problem and he worked tirelessly to help figure it out. The device I wanted to control presented a challenge, as there was a lack of documentation available. We exchanged emails back and forth, to test my device. I am happy to say Danny got everything is working as expected. GET MyURemote!

I have had MyURemote for about a month and it is very smooth. I primarily purchased MyURemote with the intention to use it with my Dune HD box. Although it sort of worked at first I contacted Danny (The developer) and he managed to get a patch out very quickly. MyURemote is very useful as it works with many devices so ya. I will not however that at first setup can be a bit confusing as it just drops you into the settings menu but it does automatically find devices after one minute so that helps. I recommend you try MyURemote , although the $16 price may scare you away it’s very fair for what you are getting. If you go on the devs website there is a list of supported devices (150 ish) or even more by now and along with the quick response from the dev it is well worth it!

I use MyURemote to control both my Samsung TV’s and the entire setup around my LG OLED TV, including Yamaha home cinema sound and Bose multi room system.
This is the only app on the market that can do it all… and I’ve tried many!

I downloaded the this app App and tried to use it. No luck. I contacted Technical Support. I was contacted by Danny Who sent me links to some videos to watch and try again. I still did not get it to work. Then he asked me to call him, so he could help me through TeamViewer. He took control of my PC remotely and started to work to resolve my problem. Danny found some problems with my Wi-Fi network. He worked very diligently and got my remote to work. It was 10:00 PM in Belgium on Saturday. Support beyond the call of duty.
