Great while the images remain but they will disappear

After spending many hours scanning a number of areas to be used to help with navigation I later came back to find that more than 50% of the saved images were removed.
There is no decent documentation to help one figure out all the options.
It would be a 5 star app if there was a way to keep all the images from being removed. Frustrating there is no documentation in English to help with setup

App requested the Microphone and Camera permissions. I don't see the benefit of having OvitalMap access my camera whenever it wants. App would not let me access anything unless I accepted their requested permissions. I believe OvitalMap is suspicious and is manufacturing various pretextual allegations in order to secretly sell your data for a lot of money that unfortunately you wont see. Unless OvitalMap sends me a check for 10% of my datas profit then I wont use it. Thank you

I can't even get past registering. It keeps saying failed or time out. I've heard it's a good app. But going online to get help didn't help either. I'll try again later but feeling it's lost in translation.

Previously it was possible to import .gpx files from other applications into this app, but in iOS13 it's impossible. Latest update of OM doesn't solve this.
Offline maps for anywhere!

I was annoyed that google maps couldn't save offline maps for some rural areas of Bulgaria, so I downloaded a bunch of free apps advertising an unlimited option of this and this one hasn't failed to disappoint! There are some language translation "bugs" which slowed me down from learning OvitalMap quickly (operation should be called options), but simply by trial and error, messing around, I managed through. I haven't used the tracking recording feature but I've used the area "sectioning" feature to save the offline maps. Sometimes it doesn't save-its because downloading the offline maps is separate from the area feature but always make sure to save if you want to, and then it will definitely work. I like how you can pick certain icons for the the favorites, but it would be even better if you could pick emoji. Adapts well to iPad too! Overall, I'm pleased with this. Some hard work was put into it!
Good for off road & on road

The ability of this software to save satellite image maps is priceless when navigating off road. There is a learning curve & the instructions are a bit confusing (having been translated from Chinese) but once you get the hang of it this software is great & seems very accurate. Well worth downloading if you're an off roader. I use this on my iPad for navigating off road.

I use this software to overlay a parcel map with the Google satellite photo. This allows me to compare property boundaries with actual terrain features such as trees, creeks, fences, buildings, etc. on my iPad.
This is particularly useful for rural properties where it is difficult to ascertain boundaries with neighboring land parcels.
There are too many useful features to describe them all here but I must add a hats off to the makers of this excellent software.

There are a lot of google maps apps in the store, but this one is the best. Fast and easy to use with many features. The only thing still missing is streetview. If the developer would add that, I'd give it even 6 stars!

I am very happy with this, offline and online mode, synchrony data, sharing...
You can make a offline map by yourself and update if any. Auto cached offline map database when you browse on map (online mode).

OvitalMap is a map browser developed by Beijing Ovital Software Co.,Ltd. based on Google API, supporting offline views of Google Map, satellite map and terrain map, as well as voice navigation.
The API search engine will offer information about your location, roads, and buses, as well as hotels, entertainment, banks, restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations, parking lots, and tourist attractions nearby a certain position.
When you are using the system to chat with a friend (just like using QQ or MSN), you can insert a location tag, travel solution, or a map created by yourself.
We also can direct output the contour line in 10 meters on the satellite map, which helps you directly see the elevation data on satellite map.
Elevation data service, the Cloud of Ovitalmap integrate SRTM3 elevation data around the world.
Google API offers a search engine to choose the best route for you.
