Where Am I - Find My Address Reviews

I’m a 10 yr old,, and you might be wondering why I use WhereAmI. I use WhereAmI because I go on a lot of road trips because of dance competitions and sometimes I’m a little impatient and wanting to know where we are and how close we are to our destination. WhereAmI helps me a lot because it tells me where I am. You can search up where your going then it’ll show you how far away you are from your destination. I love WhereAmI and I’m actually writing this review while going home from a dance competition!!!! WhereAmI is the best navigating app ever.

WhereAmI does one thing an does it very well. Because of my job I stop sometimes at 20 homes in a day and looking up an address would take too much time in the event I need help from police. At the push of a button WhereAmI tells me exactly where I am. I have been using it for about 8 weeks and it has literally never been incorrect. Google will do the same but without the speed or accuracy. Highly recommended.

I am a deputy sheriff in a pretty rural county and I’m always looking at my cross streets to know my locations. By any chance can you add the option to tell me my location by cross streets only. This option will help so much and I am willing to pay! WhereAmI is awesome I highly recommend it for gps purposes but it has the potential of being better!

I really like WhereAmI. The information you use it for is there when you open it. The one thing I really find useful is the fact that it displays the county of your location. It’s alot of the reason I use it. However, I would love to have the county also displayed when tapping the location on the map. It is really near impossible to find a map that displays county names. Useful in the weather industry especially. Thank you for a great app!

but it's missing the reason that I won't purchase the upgrade. And that is.. I want a very simple app that I can launch and either share to email the nearest street or GPS coordinates or save to my contacts.

my Garman app recently lost all my contacts so I need an app that I can launch when I near a business and save it to a contact easily so that never happens again. Yours is very close but not there yet

I like it but it would be nice to be able to take a picture. I’m surprised the police officers comments did not include this same request. Would come handy in court to show an accident scene and the exact location as one example.

I just loaded WhereAmI , opened it, and it put me on my home street, but the wrong address. If it’s incorrect here at my home, how can I trust it if I really need to know where I am?

I received response from company quickly concerning my review. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since I think other areas of WhereAmI are great! Unfortunately, WhereAmI continues to place my “Where are You” at the wrong address. To the company: How can you fix this?

WhereAmI is absolutely amazing! It helps me so much! If you’re ever lost, WhereAmI will tell you exactly where you are and extra details about where you are. The best part is that it’s completely free! I love this!! I recommend it to anyone!

WhereAmI does exactly what it says it will do without issues...I would go on to say it’s a must have for any emergencies. You can tell the authorities exactly where you are simply by reading your coordinates and you can do it simply and quickly.

I’m a cop myself and WhereAmI helps me know where exactly my location is in case I need backup during a motor vehicle stop (only because it’s hard to know where you’re at during nightshifts). Give WhereAmI five stars!

Please add time zone. It would be nice to know since I am in the transportation business. It would be helpful to know what time I can call my family without waking them up too early. Great app.

Flying back to Seattle was able to track location of plane to spots I know on the ground . From Baltimore yo seattle . WhereAmI is just amazing. Happy to pay for the pro version. It’s well worth the small extra.

I never write reviews. WhereAmI should be integrated with every phone. My car broke down on a rural road and I was able to use app to tell AAA where I was. Get it for you and your children.

Amazing accuracy. I made my children download as well so they can always check their location especially in an emergency.

it has saved me many times from being lost

It does fairly well identifying where you are but I would like to be able to go scroll to a location on the map and it give me the coordinates. If WhereAmI does that I have not been able to find how.

This is an excellent mapping app. I tried it in different parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, and every time the address I was looking for, WhereAmI was accurate in “mapping” it. I recommend WhereAmI without reservation.

I like you can switch terrain and this give me the correct address where I live . Other map app could do that thanks

Accurate ~ Helpful ~ Easy ~ A literal Bullseye.

I'm testing it out with other free apps offering address approximate location. WhereAmI is by far the least accurate. Developer sends the same ridiculous canned response: GPS requires clear view of sky....duh. Avoid WhereAmI and anything from this developer.

Most of the major map location apps will show you address info but Where Am I also shows the county you’re in; very handy.

I have the paid version. This is a well made navigation app. Great UI and easy to use. Nicely done. 😀
