UNdata app is a free app produced by the United Nations that gives users portable access to a compilation of key statistical indicators organised into 4 sections; general information, economic indicators, social indicators, environmental and infrastructure indicators for 30 geographical regions and over 200 countries and areas of the world.
The indicators have been collected from more than 20 international statistical sources compiled regularly by the Statistics Division and the Population Division of the United Nations, the statistical services of the United Nations, specialized agencies and other international organizations and institutions.

Great app. Lots of interesting info and a pretty snazzy interface. Will be interesting to see how often the data updates. However, seems as accurate as it could be considering how often census data is collected especially for so many countries, many of which are probably pretty hard to gather from.

Though somehow a bit out of date, still a very interesting piece. Just a little remark to software people : take care of visu options as settled in the "general disability options" of iPAd, more specifically for not using too small character fonts. Thanks for caring.
