Please bring back the old version of the app!

BCBSGlobalSolutions leaves me feeling miserable every time I’m forced to use it.

Since the major change a year ago:

1.Facial recognition doesn’t work for login
2. More clicks to complete the online submission of claims
3. Unclear what service option to select when submitting a claim
4. Little space to write what service the patient received.
5. Slower than it used to be
6. Must select the patient name when beginning the claim but BCBSGlobalSolutions doesn’t save the patient information. Have to enter into the patient screen and confirm the same information a second time.

Previous problems that are still present (and now added upon— see above):

1. SO many clicks
2. Currency should be tied to country where the hospital or physician are located automatically (see #1)
3. Automatic pop up and a total three clicks) just to to access the camera to take a photo of your bill.
4. Autocorrect for typing errors does not function within BCBSGlobalSolutions .
5. Have to confirm a second time the reimbursement information, though you selected it at the beginning
6. Must say you don’t have other insurance or a work place injury for every single claim, even for a claim for a child and even though the member has never had any other insurance (this information should be able to be saved under the patient information tab)

Horrible Customer Service - as in NONE

I attempted for several days to contact ANYONE within GeoBlue without success, days before my travel and a week into my travel. No phone, email or web form was successful in reaching contact within GeoBlue.

Many calls to all available phone numbers listed for customer service, sales or assistance abroad all dead ends. All numbers answered with the exact same message repeatedly "The person you are trying to reach is not able to receive your call" and then goes blank, no voicemail.

GeoBlue Email: no replies other than “out of office”, see above

GeoBlue App: no meaningful conduit for communications, see above

GeoBlue website: see above

I could not remedy my issue due to GeoBlues inability to have any valid conduit for communications, and after the experience will NEVER purchase from GeoBlue again.

My family operates travel services businesses and will be advising clients wholeheartedly against GeoBlue and its products.

Claims function doesn’t work

I don’t understand why there is a feature to submit claims on your app yet it does not work??

I’ve wasted hours on the phone with customer service who always give different instructions about how to submit claims. Why are your workers telling clients to not use BCBSGlobalSolutions because it does not work? What are you guys going to fix or improve this function?
I’ve had to resubmit claims multiple times and being a student with an already tight budget I think it’s unprofessional for me to still be waiting for claims from December 2019 still unprocessed.

Unprofessional

They won’t even respond to messages sent through BCBSGlobalSolutions . Do not hire GeoBlue. I’ve been their client for the last 2 and a half years. I was getting some shots which were covered by GeoBlue. This is a procedure that needs a few shots and a few
months to be completed. This semester, they decided to change their coverage (even though they are charging the same amount of money) and now they left me halfway through my procedure. I’m an international student and you’ll understand how hard it is to face these type of problems away from home. So unprofessional and unfair.

Cannot search for doctor specialty

Unable to use the non-US provider finder functionality. After selecting provider type of Doctor, the screen that is displayed only shows ‘Obstetrics and Gynecology’. It does not list any other doctor specialty. I tried every menu option to see if I can show other specialties but been unsuccessful. BCBSGlobalSolutions is useless to me right now and is frustrating since I’m finding it hard to look for an in-network provider.

Rating the app, not the service

I expected BCBSGlobalSolutions to be my single resource for dealing with any health problem that might arise on my upcoming trip. But I can’t find even the most basic help information in BCBSGlobalSolutions to explain how the coverage is actually to be used if it’s needed. Nothing about the process at all — BCBSGlobalSolutions seems to assume I already know about how their service works, which I do not.

Can’t login for 2 years!

Login always times out - I have not been able to use BCBSGlobalSolutions for 2 years. It’s always updated to the latest version, I tried deleting and fresh installing - always get request timed out. I’m able to login on web or mobile web without issues with the same credentials. Please fix it, it’s very hard to use desktop version of a heavy website when abroad with a slow internet connection. App used to be very handy.

Most frustrating and frankly useless

Doesn’t say how to get your policy attached to your account in BCBSGlobalSolutions . You need to go on to the website and ‘register’. No specific instructions. Just accidentally found it. Then again it doesn’t automatically show up on BCBSGlobalSolutions . If you have insurance previously it only shows the last expired certificate but not the current one. Every time you buy a policy when you travel you have to delete BCBSGlobalSolutions , reinstall again for the current policy to show up. Very frustrating and such a time waste!

Cannot log out

From the “…” menu cannot touch the log out button because it pops below the screen of my iPhone SE. Their support person’s excellent work around is to double click home and swipe up BCBSGlobalSolutions ’s image to close it. The unfortunate thing is that the submit button in feedback behaves the same way; therefore, one cannot submit feedback.

Can’t enter any characters User ID and password fields

I’ve tried to delete and download BCBSGlobalSolutions several times, but BCBSGlobalSolutions will not allow me to enter any characters into the user ID and password fields. I can no longer log in with the mobile app

Seems Like a Good App

As a new user BCBSGlobalSolutions has a good feel to it. Navigation seems easy, lot of information to be had. My only complaint so far is PLEASE make BCBSGlobalSolutions able to be used in landscape mode, makes it a lot easier to use a keyboard with BCBSGlobalSolutions .

Best of the Best

This is the best health insurance we have ever had. We have absolutely no problems with any procedures, testing, appointments, medications, dental, vision exams. I wish all insurance companies could be as great as GeoBlue!

Ease of use

Easy to use. Good flow of information and clear what data is needed and what is missing. First time use was easy and happy with how little time it took to complete claim filing.

Feedback and news

I love the quick feedback from customer service. The occasional news provided by bcbs globally is informational as well.

Usually when dealing with medical insurance claim filing it’s a full time job. BCBSGlobalSolutions makes it so easy! Everything is done in one area and you can start and stop as it saves your info! I’ve worked with other insurance apps and this one is by far the best! I

Submitting our medical receipts was always so complicated and tedious, I never wanted to do it and then when I did, everything was confusing and stressful. BCBSGlobalSolutions is so easy to use and so quick! Well done!

Easy to use even for a techno challenged retiree

As a retiree who is technologically challenged BCBSGlobalSolutions and process is seamless. Kudos also to your Customer Service Team as I had a very basic question and the entire transaction was handled with painstaking professionalism. I retired from the Service Industry and would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

I ended up needing it last year and am thankful I got it. Upgraded to the trekker this year. Definitely worth it and great service.
