Same issue as above. Works on my wife's phone running iOS 15.6.1. I'm running iOS 16.1.

Latest version of Baltimore Sun app, version 6.6.6 (4) on iPhone 11, all versions of iOS 16 including 16.1, freezes then crashes on selected pages. The only thing I can see is that the problem pages have embedded videos as well as ads. These pages are when trying to read Ravens news.
