Whiteboard has everything I wanted without features better suited to painters or artists. However, it does not support proper palm rejection and does not follow the Settings option to restrict drawing to the Apple Pencil and use touch to scroll up/down and zooming in/out. The layout and user interactions of this software are very intuitive and quick. Kudos on that front. I have tried most of the apps that attempt to solve the same user problem: a slim this app app for remote communication. I believe Whiteboard is better than the others. This said, I still can’t use it without proper palm rejection and Apple Pencil support. Until this support is added, I’m stuck using Sketchbook. Argh. Please please add this support! If I’m doing something wrong and what I’m after already works, do tell me. I will change my feedback immediately.

I have been happy with Whiteboard. I would give 5-stars if I could figure out how to use this as part of a video/web presentation where the other party(its) could see my face as well as the this app on the screen. Is there a way to do that with Whiteboard? I tried going to the company website, but the link in Whiteboard Store doesn’t seem to work for me.

Good overall but how can I go back to previous pages? Sometimes I want to check the whole documents and maybe realize a typo in previous pages. it took me half an hour to figure out but still fail to find this function.

Also why the text input can not be modified? Like move place, change size, etc. the text just stick to the middle of the page. Makes this function useless

I like Whiteboard and would really like to see some more development into it. Ive noticed a few bugs; using one of the tools “x2” will shrink your image and reduce the quality of it as well. I would really like to be able either add more markers or be able to change the all the colors of the existing ones not just the one next to the eraser. Thank you dev and keep up the great work :)

I absolutely love Whiteboard! It has the basics if that’s all you want, or you can experiment with it and find out many other helpful additions. I use it to do math work, but it could be used to do so many different things.
And it’s totally free! (I don’t even think there are ads)

The only thing is that I wish there was some sort of tutorial or thing showing how to use all of the stuff. It took me quite a bit of experimentation to figure out how to do some things (especially the more complex things), and I still don’t know what several items do.

This is all I need really! Just a simple pad to doodle on my phone nothing more and nothing less! Now you don't have to play lame app games with ads and dlc popping in your face, or roam the self loathing, pitying Facebook page where your old friends from high school or something are posting brain frying junk that makes you question why do you still go on there everyday, constantly anymore!(digressed) Whiteboard is simply all there is to a simple utility for you to kill time with, thank you!

Update: After three points of contact clearing the board was removed, Whiteboard has been amazing. Thank you so much!

Response to developer: Ah, that makes sense. I think with the apple pencil I make three points of contact on accident quite often. If you added in a toggle option I think that would to the trick! Thanks for the response!

I love Whiteboard , but there is a bug that clears the board at random... obviously highly undesirable. I’ll have to switch to Apple notes until this gets fixed.

Great app without ads or in app purchases. Plain and simple. Yes I agree with other reviewers that 1. An undo function, 2. Scrollable field, would make this even greater.

I use it to go over math problems and spelling with my kids and save the environment (without wasting paper). Got a five pack of pen/stylus at Five Below and turned my iPhone 6 Plus to an iPad Pro with pencil. Just kidding. But having a stylus does make it work better instead of my "fat fingers".

This elegantly designed app allows users to draw freely on many backgrounds and pictures, both stock and user-imported. Pen size and color are easily customizable with a 0-30 size slider a color wheel/shade selector. Default toolbar pen colors can be changed. Pen writing comes out surprisingly smooth, but not excessively rounded (using an Apple Pencil). I dream of a day hardware producers can include apps this well-made with all their bloatware.

I would pay these skilled app developers if it guaranteed that I never see this clean app violated by the voracious advertisement bar prostitutes who often run apps such as these to the ground as mere cash cows.

I also enjoyed the included sports play-planning backgrounds. It’s a nice little touch, considering that’s a common use for small whiteboards.

The only reason this is 4 starts and not 5 is because the eraser is always the same size no matter what size pencil you are using. I am a professional artist and I use Whiteboard to sketch thing on the go because I do not want to carry a sketchbook around with me as i find very inconvenient. I use a stylus to draw detailed work on this great app but the eraser has no way of controlling size and can often erase half of a drawing/sketch.🤩 Other than that you have made a great adaptive user friendly app. You should be very proud if your selves.🤩

Friday: Ok, I take it all back. Thank you so much for addressing the issues I was having. This is a great app for my uses. All the bugs are fixed, and your super-fast response is wonderful. Whiteboard is perfect again!

Thursday: I have loved using Whiteboard for a long time. It was simple and smooth and perfect. Since the December update the writing is jagged and skippy. You can’t make a dot or decimal point with a tap, you actually have to squiggle to make a dot. The line width has been changed for the worse as well. The smallest choice is too thin, the medium choice is too thick. The eraser, too, has been fiddled with. It now is thinner so that it takes a lot more time to erase and is tedious. Could we have choices of eraser width, perhaps. I will keep using this because the general functions of this this app are better than others, but the flow has been trashed by this new update. Sorry.

You can write on it. You can draw on it. And, it's white and also as close to a board as your screen will allow. Nice choice of backgrounds, from lines to graph grid, and even the highly sought after blank white background. You can even use your own pictures. Could have more colors available though. If you are looking for a well designed this app app, this is it.

I use Whiteboard to practice math problems instead of using a literal this app or wasting countless sheets of paper! Whiteboard is perfect for graphing with the grid background as well as solving problems with the plain white background. The countless color options help to easily organize how the problems are solved and to illustrate different parts of the graph. I highly recommend Whiteboard to be used for assistance in any math class.

My husband had jaw surgery last week and won’t be able to talk for the next 4 weeks (jaw wired). I put Whiteboard on his iPad and it just works when he’s out and about (gave him a stylus, but it also works with just a finger). Its refreshingly simple. Would’ve been happy to pay a bit for it. The free version has no ads - which I haven’t seen in years. Thanks!

i glad i found Whiteboard i needed an app where i can express my ideas and put on notes , edit images to make guides on a map picture etc. i love it thanks and what is Amazing it DOESNT HAVE ADS thanks to the chinese guy that created Whiteboard thanks ill start buying only chinese stuff from now on, because others just want to scam or put loads of ads.. thanks again.

...a softball/baseball background option, as well as a “Clear” button to avoid having to erase everything manually. Otherwise, Whiteboard is pretty awesome, and I plan to use it as I coach my travel softball team. Thank you!

Developer is very quick to respond, and added a softball field within a day or two of my request! 5-star app!!!

All the kids in my class that use there iPads for class use the notes drawing pad but my iPad isn't that new and Whiteboard allows me to do more it's amazing I love it I've tried so many and some crashed some didn't write and some wouldn't download even though I have tones of space.
You should get this for sure just press that get button under the icon

I like to use this for my American Girl Doll school, and it's so incredibly easy! I just have two problems with it. There needs to be a undo and redo button for mess-ups. Also there should be a zoom in and out button, so you can be more exact when filling in graphs and writing things down! Other than that, this is the best white board app that I've seen!

Does exactly what I would expect from good whiteboeard!
Small feature request:
- please add marker that acts like a pointer, i.e., instead of drawing it shows simple cursor
- switching to the custom color marker is painful with the pop-up color selection panel, perhaps the two could be separated, or action to quickly switch to the last selected color could be added

I was hoping to find an app such as this one to keep track of things. I barely check my notes and reminders, and this would surely get my attention better.

After a few minutes of trying this out, I already enjoyed the options given. This is a simple this app app that you can doodle on if you wish, but there is no layers. I’m fine with that. I can use Whiteboard for much more stuff!

However, I was checking the reviews and saw a review about the eraser didn’t work that well. And whilst the review was updated and the problem had been fixed, I found another issue with it.

Every time you use the eraser, it switched back to a marker. Not a big deal since there is an undo button, but I think it’d be better for that not to happen. It’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine, and it’s a little tough to remember at the beginning of figuring it out. This is just an issue I didn’t really like, and people probably already grew to remember it.

This is just a suggestion of a little pet peeve I had. I apologize if I sound demanding. It is the devs’ option and I do believe some, if not many people would agree that the eraser is just a little tough.

Other than that, great app! I really like the tools and the Apple Pencil compatibility! I have no other suggestions, this is a great and simple app I would probably use in the upcoming future!
