4.5 out of 5
Cblstretch

I had this timer & it stopped sounding when time was up. I had all the different sounds before this started. To try to restore the sound I followed the instructions. Nothing worked so the last instruction said to delete and reinstall install. I did. Now I don’t get all the different sounds and it still doesn’t sound when the time is up. In addition I had 5 screens so I could set for different times. Now only one. I won’t pay again so I’ll find another time. Thanks for nothing.

Failed in first use.

Upon first use, I configured the timer to use for intervals of 2:40 for some runners who needed that time between starts. (8 x 400m) RepeatTimer led me to believe all was going to work and upon pressing the start button and telling my runners to start, the timer doesn’t start and instead prompts me with a pop up about the pro version. I’ve purchased several apps, and RepeatTimer is by no means worth the 6.99 they’re asking. Dollar app at best. Deleting right now, highly NOT recommended.

Can’t get the sound alert with out banners

I really just want a beep, I don’t need or want a banner or notification on my Lock Screen. I went through the trouble shooting checklist and the last thing to try is throwing out RepeatTimer and then reinstalling. All good and fine, except that after I did it, I found out that if I want pro back, I have to pay another $4.99. RepeatTimer would be perfect if it worked and if you didn’t have to buy it again if you need to reinstall. Sent a request for help but have not heard back.

Really falls short

Needed RepeatTimer post-knee-replacement surgery to time ice on/ice off, nebulizer breathing and walking for 10min every hour. While you can set the alarms you want appropriately, RepeatTimer then fails. You can only set the alarm sound to either ring once, which is useless if you’re farther than 10ft from your phone, or not. The “not” rings continuously with, get this, no way to turn off the sound without turning off the alarm! The whole point of a continuous alarm is to not reset it! Then, if you have multiple reminders set and one’s alarm goes off, it doesn’t tell you which one is ringing!! Really needs work and I regret making the purchase. While writing this, I got an app notification that said, “timer done.” WHICH TIMER??!? Useless.

Can’t Hear It!

I won’t be buying the full version because this one doesn’t even work right. I can never hear it go off. I have it on my iPad (as I’m more likely to have that beside me than my phone) but, even with the iPad sitting right next to me, it is too quiet and I miss most all the alarms. I might catch one or two if I happen to be staring at my iPad at the time it goes off. I also hate the UI as it is designed only for a phone but I’m using it on a 12” iPad Pro. I’m uninstalling and trying a different one.

Great for exercises

I have a list of physical therapy exercises I do, and I love that I can set the hold times, break intervals, and reps, with different sounds to cue me. I took one star off because I have new exercises added as I progress, and I would like to reorder everything accordingly. Instead, I numbered the exercise names, and then re-do the numbering when something new is added that I don’t want to do last.

Dependable

This is a 5-star app but for one thing - it lacks an up and down timer. Sometimes I like to alternate between two projects without having any set amount of time for either. A single timer with up and down buttons would be great. That way I could alternate between the projects and know exactly when I need to concentrate on finishing the last one.

LOVE 'interval'feature/alarm sound not consistent

Great app! Room for improvements.

✅ I love the interval feature--I use that to take my breaks.

🤔I heard the alarm go off the first time I started using yesterday, but after that I haven't heard the alarm go off.

🤔Times I can recall not hearing the alarm: phone was asleep (ringer kept rolling but didn't hear alarm), and when playing music on my phone during the interval time--Iwant the alarm to play over the music. Are these valid reasons for the alarm not sounding off? Are there other reasons that I should be aware of?
EDIT: I discovered that my 'do not disturb' feature is on. The point is using RepeatTimer is so I can concentrate on my task. So is there a way to override 'do not disturb?'

💡Is there a way to extend the seconds/minutes that the alarm sounds off for to make sure I've heard it? Maybe a way to manually turn off an alarm sound without stopping the timer?

💡Also often times I'm holding my phone and I'll look and see that the timer stopped. I assumed it's because I accidentally touched the stop button. Is there a feature to lock the timer screen and require a password to stop the timer?

💡 It would be great for the screen to rotate so I can sit my phone on its side.

One change/addition would make this better

I like RepeatTimer. I work from home as a transcriber, and I needed something to remind me to get up, move around, take a break for a few minutes. I like the variety of sounds available and the ability to create multiple timers for different situations. The one thing that would make this 5-star for me would be the ability to add more intervals. For example, I like to transcribe for 45 minutes, take a 15-minute break to do a household chore, proofread for 15 minutes, take a 5-minute break, then repeat the whole cycle. Right now I’ve handled it by creating two different timers and starting the second one once the first one is finished - but sometimes I forget to start the second timer.

Very helpful tool indeed!

What else could be said???

This tool would be more effective if the number size could be increased or adjusted to preference! This way you can see the count down or interval timer, from a further distance when needed!

Thank you!!!

Magnificient program

I wanted to do exercise related to my back pain and every exercise took 30 seconds. So it was annoying for me to look at clock for several times while lying down. This program is the best thing that i was always looking for...thanks

Keeps on task

I’m a dental hygienist and find at times I go over on my patients. I used the free timer 3 days this week. I set repeats for the halfway mark during my appointments to give a quick auditory clue that I may need to pick up the pace in order to be done on time. There are times I’ve missed the cue, maybe because our music is too loud or I’m actively conversing with my patient, but most of the time it worked for me. The tone I picked is recognizable to me but subtle enough that no patient has asked what the noise was. I believe I have to keep my phone out of sleep mode for it to work, but still exploring that. I’m not sure if it will be as usable when I have less than the standard hour for some patients during the day, but it works well enough that I already upgraded. I love that it is a one time fee, rather than a monthly or yearly pocket drain.

I Use This App Everyday!

Excellent app! Very flexible and set up times, and time between intervals. I use it to make sure I get up and stretch from my desk every 45 minutes, stretching, and even for timing the watering of my 10 Pecan trees I just planted: 5 min each with a 1 minute interval to get to the next tree! RepeatTimer is awesome!

Simple app, many uses!

I don’t give many 5 star reviews but I’d give RepeatTimer more if I could. It does exactly what I need it to do.
Sometimes I have flare ups of a condition that causes dehydration. I use RepeatTimer to keep me on track with sipping water so I can keep my dehydration under control without drinking too much at once and getting sick.
Additionally, it’s super refreshing to have an app that doesn’t bombard you with ads. I don’t even need all the extra stuff from the “pro” in-app purchase but bought it anyway to support the developers as a thank you for making such a nice app to use. Who knew a simple timer could be this awesome!

Good product

This product is a one trick pony, but that’s all it’s supposed to be. The interface is clean and simple, but I warn you, in order to get the most out of this application please read the online help. That’s where you can understand the use of this with your needs. I would recommend you download for anybody needing interval timing on their phone! Keep up the great work!

Does exactly what I need it to do

I have the paid version. Allows me to create multiple timers and name them all. I can do a Tabata and a top of the minute timer, and it has flexibility for different sounds.
Opportunities for improvement: better watch support and more sound options.
Otherwise perfect for my needs!

Perfect for powerlifting

This is by far the best interval timer app I’ve found. It’s perfect for powerlifting, weight lifting, body building. I set it to give me 90 seconds for the set and 3 minutes in between. Really keeps your workout moving in an efficient pace. I also really like that it plays the alarms over your music. Recommend highly.

It does what I needed it to do

I was looking for an app that would chime just once on the top of the minute to remind me to pray. It does exactly that, so I’m happy with it. I paid for the Premium so that I could get longer repeat times and more sounds. I felt the cost was reasonable. It has helped me learn how to Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Needs Apple Watch App

I love this timer. It’s perfect for what I need. Love the countdown, then an interval, then restarts with no interaction from me. This is the only timer app I’ve found that does that. Great job! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it needs an Apple Watch companion. My watch only gets the notification when the phone is locked. When one of my kids is playing on my iPhone, I don’t get the buzz on my wrist. That’s just about the only improvement I can think of for RepeatTimer.

Awesome timer

I’ve been using the timer to pace my physical therapy home stretching 30 secs stretch, 10 secs rest, repeat 3 times… works perfectly. The sounds associated with each interval make it easy to follow the timing without having to look at the screen. Very handy app.

Thanks so much!
