Boxing Round Timer Reviews

The sound broke relatively recently. Had been using it and liking it; only downside was that it had to be the active app and you couldn't sleep the phone. But could listen to music during workout and have the bell and warning signal. It broke relatively recently but is useless until that's fixed.

Dose not work if you close the screen. The program stops if you close the screen to put the phone in your pocket. Leaving it open hits the buttons messing it up. Had the potential to be good but can’t put headphones in close the screen and listen to rounds and music at the same time useless.

BoxingRoundTimer is awful! There are ads every 30ish seconds. The ads stop the timer and don’t return to the timer when finished making BoxingRoundTimer completely worthless.

The timer stopped working a while ago and no fixes have been made. Find a better app.

Vibrate function is a quick blip, and you can barely hear the bell when it's cranked all the way up. Does not continue to work when you switch to anything like music. Abysmal

I'm reviewing this from a 6 plus and I've reinstalled BoxingRoundTimer a few time but the bells don't ring at all so the whole app is virtually useless

It's a 30 second bell then a 10 second warning. Also sometime they just don't go off

I used to be able to play the timer while it recorded, but now I can’t do that anymore.

BoxingRoundTimer was really good few years ago, now it’s terrible

Very good app but I use it with my phone on my pocket. Had to download another app just so I could be able to lock it without pausing the timer.

App does what it needs to do for an amateur or new person to the boxing game with easily adjustable rounds & rest in between. If u get a lot of text during the day or ur workout this may not work as well as it will stop the clock. would be a nice feature to have it prioritized over interruptions until break... but that's a lot to ask for a free app!!

Pretty awesome, intuitive and clean. Only change I would ask for is to allow me to turn the screen off and still have BoxingRoundTimer be running (it pauses the timer when you shut the screen off), I put it in my pocket at the gym and its frustrating to have the screen on and accidentally hit the pause button. Thanks, and ill for sure purchase if that change was made!

I wish it had a 5 second count Down right after you hit the start button, just to let get setup.

Great app for training, it does exactly what you want it to. I really like the ability to change round lengths and rest lengths

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. No fancy lights bells or wistles simple and straight to the point. You box for any amount of rounds and rest either 30 seconds or a minute great for solo training.

I don’t listen to music while I work the bag, and I don’t need to put my phone in my pocket. All I want is a useful timer and BoxingRoundTimer is perfectly adequate. I leave my phone open and either on top of the speed bag platform or on a bench near me. I work out at home so I don’t have to worry about my phone getting stepped on or stolen, so I have the advantage over people who use a public gym. I don’t like or need the bells and whistles of other apps, just a reliable timer, and BoxingRoundTimer does that just fine.

It is very simple app but you dont need to waste uour time on ads in app just box and enjoy...

I really like except it doesn't work with the phone locked. It would be nice to hear it while it is in my pocket through the ear phones.

Great bell sound. Can't beat it when hitting the heavy bag. You gotta put the 10 seconds left in the round "stick" sound. That would complete the experience. Thanks..

Please see if you can introduce a NO rest option as well. This way BoxingRoundTimer can be used for interval training as well. Thank you! Awesome app! :)
