RidePass is a joke. The coverage is horrible unless it's shown in CBS format. Ridepass has zero customer service. I've emailed them and they don't even have the courtesy to reply.

Bad joke

Just not worth paying for such lousy coverage. I get that the broadcast team is not up to the standards set by Craig. Kate, and company (they do try hard) but the shot from the back of the arena during rides is a joke. Then they switch to an isolated shot AFTER the ride. Reminds me of the Uncle Floyd show except no one is funny, especially not the clown. And where did Frank and Shorty go? Let them talk. It seems like maybe the PBR was strong armed into a bad deal by CBS. If that’s the case then shame on them both as the non-CBS events aren’t up against CBS anyway. So now they know why I cancelled.

Terrible app

RidePass is no good. I have it on my phone and it’s so small cuz the camera is far away. I can’t even log in on my Roku. RidePass doesn’t even allow me to enter my entire email address so that useless. I just joined and I will be canceling because this isn’t even worth $10/month. I’m very disappointed because I love PBR

Terrible

I would rather pay the additional money for the CBS Sport network package. The listen live is ridiculous and shotty. Why can’t you film the events like you do for CBS. Plus you can’t watch the event right away after it is over If you weren’t watching it live. You miss it you have to wait

Cancel Subscription

I have looked for an hour trying to cancel my subscription app and website not user friendly when it comes to managing your account and and website gives no real help on instruction to do so.

Horrible

RidePass is absolutely horrible. Needs improvement for sure. I can’t even give it any stars but I have to or I can’t send my review. That’s how bad I think it is.

Horrible service

Can’t get anything to work and there is no contact info to reset info

Prepare to get frustrated!

Can’t ever log on. Always says “internal error”. Reset password link never works. The Roku app doesn’t work either.

Cancel

Can’t find anywhere to cancel subscription

Love PBR, Hate Ride Pass...

You have got to do better for your fans!!! PBR is an exciting event. My family has been to several 2day events all over the country, sitting in Elite seats etc.. We are also Members of the PBR fan Club. RidePass experience as well as the content provided is horrible. Ex: While watching Lockwood ride during the Iron Cowboy event in Tx, the whole ride was a wide shot from several hundred feet away, partially unstructured by the shark cage, and basically made the whole ride unwatchable . I’ve got more excitement watching live feeds from eagles nests. The editing at an event on the big screens seems to be of top quality, getting right in the chutes, nice cuts to the actual rides with slow motion replays. why can’t that be the level of content that Ride Pass provides? It’s obviously been utilized as some level of production management. I’m horribly disappointed, such a missed opportunity. You call it “Ride Pass” and that’s what you are doing your are passing up on the ride. What’s the point of watching PBR if you have barely see the rides. Also trying to stream it to Apple TV is a joke. It leaves partial background images and says playing on Apple TV in the middle of the screen the whole time! You want to be a world class sport then bring world class content! I would gladly pay the subscription fee for that kind of content but this subscription will sadly be ending. And we are true PBR fans. Get your act together PBR!

Where did the live current rider stats go?

I hate when apps update. It seems like when they update, you lose something in return. I haven't been able to find the live current rider stats, like in the previous version. I like that watching it live is available so easily, but sometimes I can't watch the video and just want to see the stats as the event is occurring.

Paid but said I didn’t pay

I had RidePass since it first came out & really liked it it but i went to watch it one day in April and the shows was locked it said to buy upgrade which I was already a member and when I would click $7.99 month trial it said itself already a member, so I emailed the pbr support team took snap shots of what it was saying and I showed proof that I had paid for it through i tunes & they said couldn’t find my account they I never signed up for it or nothing I was like how the heck can I send you all these pictures I’m paying for it and yet you can’t even find my account. I would say very cool app but it sure sucked when it cheated me from watching it.

AWFUL!!! Don’t Forget Your Password!!!

If you forget your password there is a link to reset your password. They will send you an email that says, “Please click the button below and follow the steps to reset it.” The button says “Reset Password.” If you click the button you get directed to a page with HUGE CAPITAL LETTERS THAT SAY “FORGOTTEN PASSWORD.” There are two boxes, one which says “Password,” and the other says “Confirm Password.” Seems simple enough. No matter what you enter it will tell you in red “error” letters, “Not Found.” On the Forgotten Password page Ride Pass apparently expects you to remember your forgotten password!!! PATHETIC. EMBARRASSINGLY PATHETIC. It’s 2019. It’s not 1997. Quit the Internet if you can’t do any better than this.

Ridepass Needs to Utilize CBS Format

Really disappointed with this format. It’s great to have talking heads giving background/insight on the event/rider/bull but when they overshadow the ride and the viewer actually misses out on the ride what’s the point of watching? Also, what is up with the camera angle? The camera. One camera. Up in the nose bleed section of the venue. I want to see the rider. And the bulls. Especially the bulls. While they’re in rhe chute. And in the arena. Up close. Not a wee tiny spec bouncing around for a bit in the sandbox. CBS Sports has a fantastic format! Craig and Justin are fantastic! Maybe this app should take some suggestions from CBS.

OK but waiting for Apple TV version

Seems to work ok, at least for viewing the live streams for the most part. Occasional “stuttering” of the picture from the live cameras which can be annoying but it usually clears up in a few minutes. Really hoping for the promised Apple TV version soon; AirPlay from my iPad can take a few tries to get going.

Update: latest version crashes whenever I try to watch a recorded event. The only way to get it to work is to delete RidePass and re-download, and that only works for that session. Next time I launch RidePass , again it crashes and I have to download again.

3rd event use

I used RidePass during the Portland Invitational 2012 the 3rd event for the year. It is way better than the program handouts you get at events! The rides are updated "instantly" and data on bulls and riders right at your fingertips. Incredible app! OH did I mention you can view live video of events also!
