Gaia On The Go Reviews

I’m sorry Gaia, you guys have a great site and all, but it’s not mobile friendly in the least! Even on the phone browser, posts are cut off or daily rewards only show half the pop up, meaning sometimes you lose out on rewards. As far as GaiaOnTheGo is concerned, ITS WORSE THAN USING THE MOBILE BROWSER. Which makes no sense! GaiaOnTheGo has so much potential but all it’s teLly good for is looking at messages. Unfortunately I frequent the forums and guilds and I’m forced to only use them at home on my PC. I would love to see GaiaOnTheGo up and running smoothly. I truly believe that it will bring the forums back from the ashes, because let’s be real, the forums are what keep Gaia relevant. The Role play and Art community should get more attention because Gaia is slowly losing its fans to better sites like pro boards.

I’ll hold out for you Gaia but you’ve gotta step the game up. I’ve donated before and I’ll donate again, but it’s a new day and we need some improvement for sure

I no longer use Gaia on my computer because it gave me a virus and I had to factory restore my computer which was incredibly frustrating but what’s really is now I am only able to use the iPhone app and it’s very lacking in features... on of the main things I would love to be able to do with GaiaOnTheGo is trash inventory. The daily free items start to stack up and they’re all trash I don’t want them but I can’t do anything about it because if I try to sell them on the market no one will buy them and you can’t sell them for 1 gold because the market place forces you to sell things for insane prices which is also stupid and should be addressed... but yeah because of all of this I am collecting a ton of crap I don’t want that I can’t get rid of from GaiaOnTheGo .

I've given GaiaOnTheGo plenty of time to hopefully update a few small things, but it hasn't. I initially got GaiaOnTheGo to work in place of going on the site on my laptop--that didn't work. Next time I downloaded it I used it to hopefully type up my replies for my roleplays, and that didn't work due to the fact it ALWAYS screws up the coding in the message and you're forced to type everything in by hand to fix things like quotes, additions to words such as an apostrophe, text color, etc. NEVER reply on using GaiaOnTheGo unless you have the time/desire to constantly change things in your private messages.

Anyways, the point I was getting at is this: The only good thing about GaiaOnTheGo is the ability to check your messages. That's it. No replying, nothing, just checking your messages.

I am only giving this two stars, because you can actually get on the game through GaiaOnTheGo. Everything is super out dated and it’s very slow loading, it’s easier to load form safari on mobile than GaiaOnTheGo and works better too😅😅. It’s sad really, GaiaOnTheGo could be great if it was up to date. Revamp GaiaOnTheGo , because in theory this idea was great! It just seems awful how it’s been left out of site out of mind, would love to have a new improved version of GaiaOnTheGo. Because I would use it all the time 😂,hopefully sometime in the future they will think of a way to get on GaiaOnline with a mobile devise. That works well 😁

After reading the newest reviews that gave GaiaOnTheGo a good reading I thought maybe there was a newer mini update. Sadly GaiaOnTheGo doesn't open at all now. I'm glad that some of the major problems were fixed, now I have to wait for GaiaOnTheGo to actually open to use them.
I don't know if this was added but maybe a suggestion that could be added is maybe a little game. I know for events Gaia uses Switch-um (or what ever) maybe that could be added for little amounts of gold or items.

Well in rap-up was an okay app just need to open.

I like GaiaOnTheGo they made. I can perfectly check my messages (though there's some type of glitch where I can't properly send or reply to a message), I can check my notifications and announcements, I can buy, sell, and browse the marketplace, I can dress up my avatar, and post and browse through forums all without a problem. GaiaOnTheGo is great for when you're on-the-go and just wanna check in for a bit.

It's a fairly good app when it wants to work. I mostly use it to reply to pm's and lately GaiaOnTheGo is being weird so I have to create a new message in order to reply. It will remove most speech type of punctuation.
But the worst thing is that lately unless I'm using WIFI, not my 3G, GaiaOnTheGo will say it can't connect. It does this even when using safari.
Like a lot of the other reviews, I to have noticed that there is some streamlining that could be used. One thing I'd love to see added is notifications when you get a new/replied pm.

There are still a lot of areas of improvement for GaiaOnTheGo. I feel for the money that Gaiaonline users spend aka Gaia Cash. There needs to be a better working app. It glitches too frequently and it's hard to leave messages in the forums. They could also make it easier to make gold why using GaiaOnTheGo , because there's really no way of knowing if you post or surf through GaiaOnTheGo if you're getting gold; besides the daily deal. Aka, please continue to make GaiaOnTheGo better and listen to our reviews.

I used GaiaOnTheGo a few years ago, but quit because it was too buggy. Seeing it was updated not too long ago, I gave it another chance.
It’s only gotten worse.
Browsing the forums and changing your avatar on GaiaOnTheGo have become harder. The “reply” button used to be a button, but now it’s just dark blue text, up against a teal green background. (Good luck finding it.)
The dress-up section looks out of whack too. Every piece of equipment you have on is displayed, listed vertically, so you need to scroll down a lot.
It’s as if the developers don’t have a good grasp of how basic HTML works.

I mean it was a good app but the logout button is the same as the back button so it's easy to log out accidentally and it crashes upon opening ... I mean it's great that it updated like 8 months ago! GOSH but the update that was supposed to make it better made it worse AND IT CRASHES UPON OPENING like when u click it it crashes ... The +4 rating is correct because the 4 year old wouldn't care and just delete it BUT TO BE HONEST....

I have gotten giaia online more than 4 times just to see if it works again ... It's just bad

It's a good app for things like checking up on your profile and changing outfit, even if it's a little slow. However, it doesn't count towards your daily login, so if you're a dedicate user, you'll have to go onto the actual website anyway. Also, my app, the minute you log out, it won't accepts any login, even the one you previously were logged in to. So if you want to change account, you have to delete and re-download GaiaOnTheGo again. GaiaOnTheGo almost isn't worth it.

difficult to navigate. the back button is RIGHT where the logout button, so if you get impatient with the lag, you may end up logged out. also can't log back in without quitting and reopening GaiaOnTheGo . gold shops are completely inaccessible (not that it matters as they are NEVER updated), as are other parts of the site. but thank god there are three cash shop shortcuts on the main screen! I mean, THREE shortcuts? be a little more transparent, I dare you. overall, terrible app, terrible site. all in thanks to the new CEO, who cannot even be named in the forums for fear of being banned.

To be honest, the update wasn't worth waiting years for it to happen. The only thing I see updated is the scrolling issue and a couple redesigns. It's slow navigating through GaiaOnTheGo . It's like a 2-3 second delay whenever you click something. You're better off using the desktop site on Safari.
Suggestions: Fix the delay,
change color of the top bar the status bar is not visible, add a back button and refresh button.

I've installed and uninstalled GaiaOnTheGo numerous times and there has yet to be a single change made. The developers have made Gaia all about earning money for themselves rather than make improvements to the site and app. Firstly, the fact that you can't earn gold while posting in the forums using GaiaOnTheGo is a load of crap. Second, it's hard to navigate, most features don't work or cause GaiaOnTheGo to crash. And third, there needs to be a way to play the mini games using GaiaOnTheGo like booty grab and such. GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER AND STOP CAUSING INFLATION IN THE MARKETPLACE AND STOP BEING SO GREEDY!!!!!

Let's be honest, Gaia isn't what it used to be. Not by a long shot. It's owners took what was once a beloved community and monetized it straight into the grave. Regardless, I think Gaia is missing s by opportunity here to bring new blood, - make this a truly mobile experience and many people whom perhaps haven't heard of Gaia will learn about it through GaiaOnTheGo . It could be a new way to bring people in if they played their cards right. I highly doubt they will, but they should.

First, I sometimes end up getting an error window when sending a message, which then requires me to rewrite the entire message. Second, whenever I either send or try posting a picture, it will often display an image saying that it couldn't be found, yet when I try the same using the website, it shows perfectly fine. And third, when surfing through the forums, I have noticed that none of the posts are being displayed properly; most are only showing half of the post.

It's super glitchy so don't expect to get all you need done on Gaia done on it, but it is nice to see to check if you have any new messages (it's just difficult to reply to messages). I would say get it so you can check up but I wouldn't use it as an alternative way to go on Gaia. You'd have a better time logging into Gaia on your browser (both on a laptop/desktop and a mobile browser) and doing what you need.

I'm able to get into GaiaOnTheGo fine most of the time, but the thing is, after about 3 minutes of doing something, GaiaOnTheGo just logs me out for no reason. I would appreciate it if there was an update that could fix this bug.

Also, after it logs me out, I'm not allowed to log back in unless I close GaiaOnTheGo , wait about 10 minutes, then try to log back in. And once again, after about 3 minutes of gameplay, it logs me out again.

Been on & off (mostly off, except for when I’m feeling nostalgic about my pre-teen angst) of Gaia for almost 10 years now. In that time, I have seen zero updates to GaiaOnTheGo. I have watched the actual website crash and burn, and I’ve gotta say, Gaia deserves it. It’s become nothing but a cash-grabbing website that chooses to update premium purchase-only content instead of the free and more accessible content it got its following from. Be better, Gaia. Maybe then you’ll be more than just a nostalgia act.

I have read other app users problems with pms ,lack of use to the dress up feature and to be frank I agree. Also try on for market doesn’t work. given there isn’t access to shops that becomes necessary problem to fix for mobile users . I also notice rally has a side app Gaia has the potential to truly go mobile and keep to its roots .as an older Gaian it would be so much simpler to just check my account on mobile then the site if it where updated regularly .also mobile zomg .
