My daughter loves ArticulationStation or else I would request a refund. I spent the $30 for the pro since it was advertised as available for family sharing and my daughter has responded very well to it. Guess what...you can share ArticulationStation , but not the purchases. My wife and I work opposite schedules which means that unless we spend another 30 bucks (or more), this lovey little app is only available to my daughter if daddy is home. Really have to say that that one is low. I wish I had gone to the website and read through the endless paragraphs of ‘sharing’ rules before I ever introduced this to my daughter.

I have a child with special needs whose been in speech therapy for nearly 5 years with no end in sight. ArticulationStation came highly recommended from an SLP after my child used it during a session and they actually engaged and had zero meltdowns!! Of course that alone made me want it immediately so, when I saw there was a pro version and a free version I assumed the pro version was aimed towards SLP’s with advanced tools to record scores and such and the free version was more so for at home play for kids in speech. Well, my assumption was WAY wrong! We simply can’t afford a $60 app when we already spend such an insane amount on therapy itself. I wish there was a cheaper option for families that didn’t include paying +/- $5 per letter/sound.
It’s abhorrent that everything targeted towards kids with special needs is priced super high because companies know that parents will ultimately pay the price because their child needs it.
For now I will seek out another app in hopes of finding something of similar quality and a more affordable price.

I love using ArticulationStation for conducting speech therapy sessions. However, it is only for iPad and iPhone. I would love for it to be available for desktop/iMac . Of course, I can screen share from my iPhone or iPad, but the kids lose the interactive experience, and it’s not as enjoyable for them. Please make a desktop version of ArticulationStation!

I am an SLPA and have been using the pro version of ArticulationStation for several years. Normally I turn off the scoring option because the kids figure it out quite quickly. But I recently broke my dominant hand which means taking data by hand is a no go. Turning the scoring sounds off and explaining that a red check just means we need more practice is working really well. The option to send session data via email is a godsend when you cannot write. Love ArticulationStation and all its various settings!

I am a speech and language pathologist and currently work at an elementary school. I have been using Articulation Station successfully with so many of my students. Your app allows for repetition of consistent verbal models of target sounds which has been highly beneficial for my students. One student in particular, who has apraxia of speech and is a developing reader, has greatly improved using ArticulationStation. It has supported this student’s need to have these consistent verbal models and lots of repetition of sounds in words, phrases and sentences. I look forward to the time when this student will be producing target sounds in paragraphs using your app.

This is by far my favorite articulation app out there. From a functionality standpoint, ArticulationStation is intuitive, has very few bugs, colorful and engaging. From a SLP standpoint, ArticulationStation is thorough, has great targets and great data collection! I purchased all of the sounds because my caseload is heavy on articulation and phonology so now I’m always prepared for all sounds from the word level to stories. And I love the ability to track the data across sessions. I no longer have to sit there with a binder open writing plus or minus for their productions. We practice each target 10 times, I have them self-reflect on how they think thy did and then I tell them what I heard. My students also love to try to get the silly phrases (“ugly slide?! Hahahaha”) on the rotating function. They also get a kick out of recording their trials and listening back. The only thing that would make it better: maybe a button to indicate when we gave a prompt! Overall though, ArticulationStation is amazing and the best App Store purchase I have made.

I have found ArticulationStation to be very useful for both my young students as well as those in the older grades. The kids enjoy the updated pictures and silly sentences while enjoy the ease in developing the session to their skill level. I can pick the sound, placement and skill level with just a few taps. I love that the data is kept for me. The kids like to take ownership of their sound and watch their percentages correct climb. Thanks for developing such a useful app for therapists.

I’ve been using Articulation Station Pro for over 6 years and it has remained my all time FAVORITE speech therapy app! It’s easy to use, has a plethora of target words to choose from, includes multiple linguistic hierarchy levels for students to practice their targeted sound at, and it even has a record and play back button for students to work on self monitoring and correcting. I’ve been a clinician for over 10 years and haven’t found a better tool to enable student’s progress!

I am a licensed SLP and have been using ArticulationStation for 6 years. I no longer need to carry materials for artic practice because ArticulationStation has it all! Every target sound is included, the hierarchy for production competency is built in (word, phrase, sentence levels, as well as, stories for practice and comprehension . The ability to record your child’s voice is genius, and they love the correct and incorrect sound buttons on the matching game. And don’t forget the phonological processes button on the bottom right. Brilliant addition!

ArticulationStation was recommended by my son’s SLP and has made practicing at home so much more effective and fun. My son looks forward to the screen time and responds very well to the games. I love that I can track his progress and see where he needs work and where he is succeeding. The resources are helpful for me to learn more about articulation and communicate better with his SLP. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. They’ve responded promptly to my questions and helped me get everything set up well. Thank you!

This is a quality articulation therapy app. It is quite flexible, with many ways to play, which both keeps children's interest over numerous sessions and also allows for greater customization and generalization. I also enjoy the ability to customize word lists for a particular child and combine sounds for increased randomized practice. The staff at Little Bee Speech is also very friendly, responsive and helpful. Good work with ArticulationStation!

This application is INCREDIBLE. I was first introduced to ArticulationStation by a few Speech-Language Pathologists during there therapy session. I saw such incredible improvement in the speech and language development of the children using ArticulationStation that I was just simply amazed! The creators are incredible. ArticulationStation is easy to use, extremely fun and motivating for children! I absolutey love how they include all speech sounds and can be used in either inital medial or final position as well as at the word, phrase, sentence and story level! I highly recommend ArticulationStation!

I had to get a new IPAD and their customer service was great in helping me get all my previous purchases regarding ArticulationStation. up and working on my new iPad. Also, ArticulationStation. and the Articulation Station Pro are wonderful additions to my daily speech therapy sessions with clients. It has made therapy with my clients so much more convenient. Working with kids ranging from issues with decreased speech intelligibility to poor language skills has been greatly helped by using their matching sounds/pictures option to the phrases and sentences option.

This is a fantastic app for professionals and parents alike! The interface is easy to use, the sounds are fresh and relatable for kids and the content is evidenced based! I have used ArticulationStation in an outpatient and school setting and it is appropriate for both. I love that you don’t need to customize word lists, but can if you wish. Another feature I find incredibly powerful is the bio feedback of students recording themselves saying the production and the assessing their own productions. This allows for further generalization as the student learns self-monitoring. I strongly recommend ArticulationStation to all my colleagues!

ArticulationStation has been a game changer! ArticulationStation is ridiculously simple to use, tracks data, supports the students ability to monitor their own responses, and keeps them engaged and practicing their sounds in a variety of contexts. The students love the record function and it is useful for them to hear back their own productions. I love that I can use this for mixed groups as well. If some students are working on artic, the others can be addressing social skills, grammar or expressive language. This is perfect to let the students play a game but they are still working on skills! WIN-WIN! - Heather

I grabbed ArticulationStation in hopes of helping my 3 and 6 YO kids with speech. They both struggle in different area of articulation, and after a friend’s SLP recommended this for them, she implemented it daily and has seen big improvements! So we started using ArticulationStation !
My kids LOVE getting to do ArticulationStation . Of course- screen time! ☺️ And the games are so fun. My 6 YO has zero idea this is meant to improve her speech. She just thinks it’s fun.
This summer I’m making a big effort to dive in consistently, daily with my kids. Can’t wait to see the results! I’m positive we will! And I’ll update as we do!

How can i buy games for myself and not spend $8 to help my kid? Her school actually introduced her to ArticulationStation during her speech therapy session. As a developer myself, I am familiar with the lead-developers of ArticulationStation through ArticulationStation community so I didn’t hesitate to buy ArticulationStation when my kid started speech. The key feature I like is documentation. It is not just an app they mess around with. It allows me to track progress and share that progress with the teacher at school. If your kids’ speech therapist isn’t using ArticulationStation(or the full-paid version) how are they communicating progress/challenges to you? Insist your school get this, then you download the free one and buy the packages you need.

ArticulationStation is incredible! We were looking around for top rated apps and accidentally stumbled onto this one. Our son has barely spoken any intelligible words, he's going on four, and ArticulationStation helped engage him immediately. I yelled for my husband to see what was happening before my eyes, because it was amazing to hear him talk.

I started off with the letter "P" and he was having so much fun with the way ArticulationStation was set up. You see the picture, it enunciates the word, and your child has to say it before swiping it. It was almost like a really fun game to him and we got some shockingly amazing results. I kinda exhausted ArticulationStation with he and his brother, gave them treats and they asked for it as a reward. Um, no complaints here! 😊

Our toddler is apart of many speech therapy programs here in Utah and all of the therapists were astonished with what he had learned from ArticulationStation. We took his iPad to all three sessions last week just so they could potentially use it as a tool themselves, since we got some immediate, great results. We also had to get a review of our son's diagnosis, and they were unsure of Apraxia. I mean, how can an app spark that much language?

I cannot say enough great things about ArticulationStation and some great thought went into it. Many thanks to the creators!

This really is the best Articulation app available! I am a speech language pathologist in private practice working with preschool and elementary school children. I own the Pro version because I need to work on a variety of sounds. But I really like that parents can buy the individual sounds that their child is working on in therapy.
The pictures are realistic and easily identified. Kids love many thing about ArticulationStation. The most popular is the matching game! They also like just swiping to the next picture after producing the target sound correctly. Kids enjoy recording their productions and judging the correctness. They also enjoy saying the silly rotating sentences!
It is a well designed, effective, and entertaining app to help children improve their Articulation. I bought ArticulationStation many years ago and continue to use it often!

Little Bee Speech has really outdone themselves with ArticulationStation. Not only is this the most beautiful, most user intuitive and crazy powerful articulation app for toddlers, it’s also very fairly priced for what you’re getting.
Using ArticulationStation with my toddler was an absolute game changer. He struggled with b and p’s and and every letter after, and since using ArticulationStation with his speech therapist it has improved significantly.

If you’re on the fence about ArticulationStation, please follow my advice! You can try the free version do ArticulationStation for free with the letter P and see for yourself. If you like it, buy it but I recommend you buy the full “articulation station pro” app so you can share it with other family members (grandparents, wife or husband, etc) and they would have the chance to practice with the kids too.

Don’t waste your time with the other apps. It’s worth spending a few dollars for a child struggling

I use ArticulationStation for all my speech kids and have since 2014! It is so much easier then toting around a bunch of card decks. I use it to work on articulation at the word and sentence level. The interactive matching game keeps the kids motivated on practicing their sounds. They also enjoy creating sentences by spinning the “wheel” word. I highly recommend ArticulationStation for any speech therapist that treats articulation and speech disorders.

I have been so impressed with ArticulationStation and how much my patients enjoy using it. The stimulus items are visually interesting and I find that my patients are quite eager to use ArticulationStation during treatment sessions. It's a great tool to use to target articulation skills and the best part is that it collects data for you which is a major time saver! I'd highly recommend it to anyone targeting articulation!
