OSnap Lapse Motion Reviews

I just started using OSnapLapseMotion and made 2 claymations. I wanted to make a 3rd when it said you could only have 2. I was wondering if there was a way to delete the claymations, and I looked at one review here that said if you hit the edit button, it can delete them. I searched everywhere for the edit button and couldn’t find it.
There was another option where you could pay $5 to make more. But when I bought the voice-over, I thought it was a bad idea, which brings me to my next problem. I bought the voice over option for 0.99. I used it on one of my claymations, and heard more static than my actual voice. I watch plenty of you tubers who have great voice overs, this one was pretty bad. Please make the quality of the voice over better, or I want a refund.

Even with all the upgrades OSnapLapseMotion is not super user friendly. You can’t edit your individual pictures. OSnapLapseMotion inadvertently and automatically changes from landscape to portrait forcing you to export the photo to your photo app and edit the picture in there then move it back into app causing lots of time consuming unnecessary work. There are zero tutorials available. It’s trial and error on your own and that is very time consuming causing many errors that could easily be avoided with a tutorial.

OSnapLapseMotion would really benefit from providing a photo editor.

Ok OSnapLapseMotion is good and simple but it has a few problems and things I think can be added to make OSnapLapseMotion better:
-You have to pay for voiceovers and it’s kind of annoying to pay 1 dollar for a one time thing.
- Add drawing abilities and green screens for free that would be awesome
-it costs a dollar for importing images from photos

I absolutely love OSnapLapseMotion! I love that it’s so easy to use and not very complicated. I also love that you don’t have to use pictures from your camera roll and it’s all stored on OSnapLapseMotion ! There are a couple things that I would say give it 4 stars instead of 5. First of all, I wish the voiceover was free. It would make OSnapLapseMotion so much better! Second, I wish that it was free to make more than 2 videos. I am a kid and my parents don’t let me spend money on apps. I also had a problem with my first video that I made and there were just random black frames popping up and it cut off a lot of my hard work. For this reason I give OSnapLapseMotion 4 stars, but I do really love OSnapLapseMotion and totally recommend it!

I wanted to upload photos from camera roll to make a time lapse... it’s possible, but not immediately intuitive... I paid 2 bucks for “wifi transfer” feature, fyi that’s not it : )

I honestly cannot remember how I found it, that’s how squirrelly OSnapLapseMotion is... bottom line, create a new project, snap some photos, then there is a grid icon that appears at bottom of screen, click on that... then on that screen you see setting (I think : / ) and eventually get to the option of “upload from camera roll”... click it, pay your dollar, then it’s bliss.

You can simply upload photos, click ‘play video’, adjust frame rate to your liking, then save the video to camera roll (you may need to pay 2 bucks for export ability.)

Anyway, it’s easily worth 3 bucks

This is a great app but I really wish there were sound effects that you can add to your video. It was also really annoying when it said that I had a limit of two projects and had to pay to get more. But it does have great quality videos, it's super fun to use, and it's really simple when you know how to do it. 👌

I've never reviewed an app before but this one was so good I felt I had to write. We had a modular house (3 modules) delivered and lifted onto a foundation and I wanted to set my old iPhone 4 to record it all day. It would have run out of storage for video but the time lapse was perfect. There is even a setting to adjust resolution to save memory and a setting to darken the screen when the photos begin to save the battery. You can adjust how often you want a photo (I took 1 photo every 15 seconds) and how many of the photos per second in playback. There are a lot more features but being able to save all of the photos to my phone and create a video so you don't have to view it from OSnapLapseMotion and then transfer them to my PC was the icing on the cake.

I kept looking for apps that don’t take up as much space as Stopmotion studio, I tried a bunch of apps, but they all were horrible, then I found O-snap and it had some pretty good reviews, I tried it and instantly feel in love with it 10/10!

I have been using OSnapLapseMotion for more than two years, simply efficient and reliable, quality price ! Best app I have tried for my art process videos

When I show friends and family my music videos that are animated they assume that I spent hours working on them but with OSnap I can turn what used to take somebody hours if not days to create I can do it in minutes! Great app.!

OSnapLapseMotion is great but after two video you have to pay to have more and you cannot import videos into your own camera unless you pay

I am in love with OSnapLapseMotion! I am able to add music and do most of my editing in OSnapLapseMotion. I mostly animate toys and dolls with OSnap! On my iPhone X. It’s very fun to use and renders video in amazing quality. Thank you for creating such a fun and user friendly app! I am recommending OSnap to all of my stop motion buddies!

I expected OSnapLapseMotion to be a trash pile, where adds got in your face and you had to buy everything, but. The things you can buy aren't that important! So you could make animations, I use Stopmotion, if you want SOUNDS, on that you have to pay, I'm gonna try and make a Stopmotion now, bye!

We use it every day to monitor scientific experiments. I have tried most of them, and this one has flash, frame count and all the features I need. It is fun to use and the flash allows me to detect when the picture is taken and start a new process.

Best app please keep this the way it is. Amazing no fail keep it this way. Only thing I would add if you can take pics while app is hidden or off and you want to use another app it can still take pic. This would be good feature.

However amazing app doesn't fail unlimited frame video rendering and pics no glitch and no personal information shared amazing time snap. Easy download pic video to phone and laptop with date and time Perfect app. Keep it.. please 5 star plus.....

Needed something to create a photo time lapse. OSnapLapseMotion did the trick. Allowed for the setup to take a picture every 3 minutes for either a set number or infinite number of pictures. It was able to take pictures for an entire day (phone plugged in) to get a great time lapse. Setup allows time between photos to be set to hours, minutes, and/or seconds.

Someone put a lot of thought of into OSnapLapseMotion. There are a ton of features, but they are so easy to get to and tweak that it makes it all seem really simple. The possibilities with OSnapLapseMotion are endless. It is also very reliable. I’ve been doing time lapse projects for days at a time and never once experienced a crash. Happy to give this 5 stars.

I’ve tested multiple apps for a long-term (construction) project and OSnap! came out on top, hands down. It is clearly the most flexible in terms of settings, and offers a good number of features for free, with even more options via in-app purchases. Also, the developer is very responsive to questions and suggestions. Highly recommended!

My son and I have made a dozen animations with various lego sets. It has been a lot of fun. Reasonably simple but you need to read the instructions and do a few practice videos to really understand what buttons to press.
Request one: A full-screen tap to take a shot or a loud hand clap would be nice. (I HIGHLY recommend using the Apple earbuds to trigger the shutter, otherwise.)
Request two: Auto-shake reduction on export to reduce the shaking from unstable phone mounts.

I need to give a 5 star rating for unlimited projects but I might have given 2 stars because of forcing you to give 5 stars. Sorry. Great app otherwise! 😁
